Please pray for us as a family. We are all down with flu and the little one Simeon {23 months} is very sick from last week and Thursday with fever, vomiting and don’t want to eat anything. We have him at the doctor twice and he can’t really explain what is wrong with him, we have done some blood test and will have the results this afternoon. Doctor says he is afraid that it can be meningitis. We experience this attack on our health as an dirty work of the enemy for we are busy starting a new project now and satan isn’t happy with what we are doing for the Lord.

How are you? We do remember you all in our prayers.
By the grace of God I am getting better. Thank you for your prayers for a speedy recovery. Now I do try to walk inside the house by the help of the crutches. Somebody from India itself provided me a wheel chair and a pair of crutches. I don't say I don't have pain when I walk, but I can tolerate it.
We will be having a special praise and prayer fellowship on 13th Saturday at my residence. Please pray that I may share my testimony of my Lord's care and protection towards me and my family during last two months.
By God's grace I will be completing 51 years of age (52nd birthday) on 25th of May.
I have got enough money (not more nor less, but needed money) for my treatment and related expenses. Once again I thank you all for your prayers and thank God for those who helped me and my family for the time of our need. Now I sincerely request if anybody else want to help us any more for the expenses of my last treatment, please don't send it. If I receive any more money for my treatment unnecessarily, it will be a sin against the Holy Spirit, for I don't need to use it more for the same purpose. Hope you won't misunderstand me.

this might sound crazy, but it seems the more the devil can upset you, the more the things keep happening.
Someone once told me to pray against the spirit of malfunction, never heard of it but did it when things were not working, it seemed to help. Binding the spirit of malfunction, and whatever is plaguing you.
There are many scriptures in Pslams where David was constantly harrassed by the enemy, and their are many scriptures you should declare to theLord, and just trust Him.
Pain is one thing, but being plagued by the devil is something else.
Speak those scriptures out loud to the Lord, and to the devil if need be, he is a loser and all he is doing is harrassing.
Lord, I lift up my brother Paul to you Lord, and I ask that You would deliver Him from the schemes of the devil, that He be set free from all the harrassment, and I ask You to bring him pain free releive, that He may continue with his ministry.
Lord I also ask that Your provide every need according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus and we thank You for ansering this prayer. In Jesus amen amen and amen.

but I have been in the process of moving, and pretty much living out
of a bunch of boxes for a while until I got all my ducks in a row and
got settled. I did receive your last e-mail that you sent me some time
again, and I am very much wondering what your present condition is.
Reverend Paul, I want you to know that you are important to me,
and that you are on my heart and in my prayers.
It has taken me several months, but I have finally completed my move from
Sarasota, Florida, USA to Orlando, Florida, USA.
I stayed with some friends here in Orlando for several months and helped
them run their Real Estate Office and Real Estate School and I designed a
website for them. Now I am helping them open up a Mortgage Brokerage
Business, and I will be taking & processing mortgage loan applications.
I have had my portrait professionally done so that I could have a photo to
hang on the wall of the business and go on my business cards.
And yes, I am also back on my regular

Just last week, I finally moved into my own apartment---the Good Lord has
blessed me with a beautiful apartment (and the furnishings to go in it) in a nice area of Orlando near the International Airport. This apartment community has a lagoon running through it with ducks, three very nice swimming pools, a newly decorated and equipped Clubhouse & Fitness Center, A large fenced-in doggy run for the dogs , screened in porches & balconies, and washer & dryer hook-ups in each apartment.

What would you do? You make the choice! Don't look for a punch
line;
There isn't one! Read it anyway. My question to all of you is: Would you have
made the same choice?
At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves learning disabled
children,the father of one of the students delivered a speech that
would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school
and its dedicated staff, he offered a question:
"When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature
does is done with perfection. Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as
other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do. Where
is the natural order of things in my son?"
The audience was stilled by the query.
The father continued. "I believe,that when a child like Shay,
physically and mentally handicapped comes into the world, an opportunity to
realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes, in the way other
people treat that child."Then he told the following story:
Shay and his father had walked past a park where some boys Shay
knew were playing baseball. Shay asked,"Do you think they'll let me play?"
Shay's father knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay
on their team, but the father also understood that if his son were allowed
to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some
confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.
Shay's father approached one of the boys on the field and asked if
Shay could play, not expecting much. The boy looked around for guidance
and said, "We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I
guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in
the ninth inning."
Shay struggled over to the team's bench put on a team shirt with a
broad smile and his Father had a small tear in his eye and warmth in his
heart.
The boys saw the father's joy at his son being accepted. In the
bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still
behind by three. In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and
played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously
ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear
to ear as his father waved to him from the stands. In the bottom of the
ninth inning, Shay's team scored again. Now, with two outs and the bases
loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be
next at bat.
At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to
win the game? Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a
hit was all but impossible 'cause Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat
properly, much less connect with the ball.
However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing
the other team putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life,
moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least be able
to make contact. The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and
missed.
The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly
towards Shay. As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow
ground ball right back to the pitcher.
The game would now be over, but the pitcher picked up the soft
grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman. Shay
would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.
Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the head of the
first baseman, out of reach of all team mates. Everyone from the stands
and both teams started yelling, "Shay, run to first! Run to first!" Never in
his life had Shay ever ran that far but made it to first base. He
scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.
Everyone yelled, "Run to second, run to second!"
Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming
and struggling to make it to second base. By the time Shay rounded
towards second base, the right fielder had the ball, the smallest guy on
their team, who had a chance to be the hero for his team for the first
time.
He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but
he understood the pitcher's intentions and he too intentionally threw
the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head. Shay ran toward
third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases
toward home.
All were screaming, "Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay"
Shay reached third base, the opposing shortstop ran to help him and
turned him in the direction of third base, and shouted, "Run to third!
Shay, run to third" As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams and those
watching were on their feet were screaming, "Shay, run home! Shay
ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the
"grand slam" and won the game for his team.
That day, said the father softly with tears now rolling down his
face, the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity
into this world.
Shay didn't make it to another summer and died that winter, having
never forgotten being the hero and making his Father so happy and coming
home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day! Thanks Susan

Get Ready to Rise
Whenever God gets ready to elevate you, He must first introduce an enemy.
Finding Favor with the King, p. 119
Scripture Reading Hebrews 12:1-11 tells us that God deals with us as sons (and daughters) and that the resistance we endure prepares us for greater things.
Enemies come in many forms .
Some are blatant, openly opposing you at every turn. Others are more subtle and devious, appearing as "angels of light" to entice you away from focusing on God's purpose. Your enemy may not even be a person. It may be a disease that threatens to take your health or even your life. It may be a financial reversal that pushes you to the edge of bankruptcy. Whether large or small, human or otherwise, enemies have one thing in common— they threaten to destroy your destiny .
The appearance of an enemy brings your life to a crisis point. You can either capitulate from fear and be destroyed—or you can face your enemy in the power of God and overcome. No enemy can harass you unless God allows it. And if God allows it, He has a reason. God's purpose is to bring you to maturity. If you are facing an enemy, take courage. God is preparing to elevate you. He is getting ready to take you to a new level.
Every athlete knows that bodily strength and stamina develop fastest against resistance. "No pain, no gain." It is the same with our spirit. Resistance forces us to lose our mental and spiritual "flab"; to lay aside every encumbrance and get into "fighting trim." The presence of an enemy propels us into depending on God for strength and victory instead of our own resources.
It says in Hebrews, "… let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us , and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." No chastening or resistance is pleasant at the time, but "afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." Facing enemies prepares us for elevation.
Your enemies only look big. From God's perspective they are nothing. Once you learn to see them that way they won't seem so intimidating. Do enemies and opposition press on you from all sides? Hang in there. God is preparing to move you higher. Get ready to rise!
Prayer Father, sometimes my enemies seem so big! Teach me to see them from Your perspective. When times are tough, help me remember that You are maturing me and preparing to elevate me to a new level.

In this day and age and there are more martyrs now in this century then any century all the way back to the first century of the bible. So we have to be careful in who and what information we even talk about.
As you have noticed I have changed a few things around because we need to be careful and still have care for our brothers and sisters, some people don't need their whole name on a missions letters and we have to eliminate the countries on some because it varies from country to country, the cause and Love for Christ, the bible and so on. Some are so well known that they have the protection, and I hope I am making the right decisions, one person emailed me twice and there is some confusion in the whole communication, so we decided to delete the whole entry that he mailed me. I will find out the real answers after all these tests come together and the cookies are totally eliminated. It is something this world is coming to the end times, and we can't make mistakes even talking about certain things on these pages, so in a day or so we are going to be able to tell you what is going on if it is me or the computer or just the devil playing his tricks again.

We hereby want to introduce us to you. We are full time missionaries involved in community development and administration of missionaries in the field.
We start this mission on 8 June 1990 as Deo Valente Mission.
Please allow us to share our vision, mission and statement of faith to you.
The purpose of this letter is NOT to ask for money but to give you a brief overview of our ministry and to raise prayer and ministry partners.
Vision
Our five-fold vision is for a Holy Spirit inspired situation wherein:
1. The poor and needy of Pretoria-North and surroundings receive food - thereby helping to relieve their desperate state and creating an opening to preach the Gospel.
2. And for a programme of support for believers in Jesus Christ who are needy.
3. Administration and mission support service of missionaries in the field thru our work with the Mozambique Hub.
4. Community development in the rural area’s north of Pretoria in Sohanguwe {New Eersterus}
5. Internet counselling and prophetic word and an encouraging word to the hopeless.
Mission.
We help feed and clothe needy Christians and thereafter reach out to un-believers. All beneficiaries are regularly visited and they're needs evaluated. Support is provided only for as long as it takes for the recipients to become self-sufficient. Through newsletters, Gospel literature, preaching programmes and feeding schemes, we also bring the Good News to the poor and make disciples of Jesus Christ. We also uplift people thru various community projects.
Leadership.
Johan Lourens is the full-time co-ordinator of this mission and no stranger to God’s mercy. In mid-June 1990, Johan was involved in a car accident, but miraculously survived. Thereafter he met with God and dedicated himself to His service. Inspired by a vision from the Lord – to reach out to the poor, both believers and the unsaved, and to make disciples – Johan established the Deo Valente mission and saw it through a number of changes. The mission, who was previously based in Nelspruit, South Africa but move to Pretoria in May 2003, now focuses on community development, food support, missionary support services and Gospel outreach across the border with Mozambique.
His wife, Esther, and other volunteers ably assist Johan as he personally arranges, supervises and accounts for all mission activities. Johan also interacts with the leaders of various church missions and feeding programmes to ensure community development projects and the fair distribution of food and clothing to those most in need.

We believe that the Scriptures, both Old and new Testaments in their original texts, are fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error and are the final authority for the Church.

Because the connection between money and spiritual work can be so confusing and hurtful, I want to clearly express our attitude about it. Deo Valente Mission, no matter how noble it's goals must not add pressure and guilt to the donators by hounding you for support. You are as dear to us as God's people.
We believe in "Affectionate Generosity". It seems fitting to support projects or organizations you believe in as a joy and privilege, not an obligation. It's not our business to remind you to compete with other worthy causes for your support. We feel it's your responsibility to commit your funds wherever you feel they may be put to best use. We won't pester you.
Deo Valente Mission has only a few loyal donors, no grants or government funding, etc. No salaries are paid and no money is spent on fundraising, it all goes to our programs and the feeding scheme. We are 100 % responsible for raising our own support.

My dear Friends, now matter what happens to me I would like to get this letter out, it has been almost 3 years of this torment with my physical and spiritual health, you are my family, I will need some prayers as I see the doctor again on the 3rd of November, which the travel plans have not been awarded yet, so I could be in more torment. My fever has been high everyday, glands swollen, stomach aches, headaches, and my white count will not go down, it still is high. During the month of January and February I took my temperature everyday with 2 thermometers and did a test with both in the early part of the day and the later part I am always at an average of 99.75, some days it goes well over a hundred, I know I can feel it and take the reading, it goes down a few tenths later in the day, but there is an infection that nothing can take this temperature down. I had IV’S into my arm and vein with full bags for 6 weeks 3 time’s day and that did not do a thing. When I received the follow-up by the backup surgeon for the double hernia surgery and he said everything looks good, but he wanted me to contact my regular doctor a.s.a.p. which was about a year ago I had a hundred and two, I have been running a low grade fever for a long time, and my glands have been swollen and I had candidiasis, and every time I receive antibiotics it gets worse or the cadidiasis is the infection itself. So no one knows I have had this fever for the whole 3 years, there is something wrong with my body and it is some sort of a dental or mouth infection, with extreme pain. I have not been able to put my dentures back in my mouth in this same amount of time and I drink out of a blender for food, this whole thing with Medicare and Medicaid has caused so much confusion I lost so far 5 pounds, just because of all the stress, and when I go back in on the 3rd I will have lost more. I just lost 7, but I had some weight from last month, but 123 with my clothes and shoes on is skin and bones, I am sick. I still have blood in my urine with two tests earlier this year. I did have another test and there isn't anymore blood in my urine. So there is something going on in my insides, plus no one has even looked at these non-cancerous brain tumors and they are two different kinds. I went to a doctor and he started to laugh what is this hole in your head well that is what you call it a cavernous malformation plus a hemispheric venous angioma, they say there is no danger unless they bleed. Now my back at L5-S1 is disintegrating, so my future does not look good. I can not straighten my body out till later in the day, I walk around slumped over for a good hour everyday or more. I can not lay down in a bed at all, that will kill me. You know it is getting to a point where I just want to scream, I don’t want to be taking pills, I was an athlete, and trained hard everyday, with a good diet with supplements for 23 years. Before all of this happened I was strong and looked about 35, now I cry every time I look in the mirror. We all have our burdens, and they are not the same in any of us. Some are clearer than others. These are the burdens we all see. These get our compassion and our sympathy. We come to love them with love’s warmth and help. There are others; however whose burdens are not visible or noticeable. These seem to us to have no trouble, no struggle, and no load to carry; in fact we can envy them to a point. But probably if we knew all about their condition that the Lord, the Spirit and the angels know, our envy would change to sympathy. The burdens that the world cannot see are often the heaviest. The sorrow that is hidden behind the walls, the reflection of the windows and an untouched door-bell are most of time the most distressed and the hardest to endure.
We may think that it is an easier load if we could just change places with our neighbor but in the end we would cry out to God to change us back.
There are three bible scriptures about bearing of burdens. One tells us that “everyman shall bear his own burden” KJV, or For each one shall bear his own load (Gal. 6:5) NASB There are burdens which no one can carry for us, the kind we couldn’t even ask Jesus for help, and the kinds that no one can share with us, we must carry them alone. Theoretically in the cause and days of life itself, truth remains with our work, our duty, the added extras that are just done, and all kinds of personal responsibilities. So you see no one can live your life for you. Friends can help you with all kinds of edification and encouragement if they are around. Some burdens are shared almost totally alone. Sometimes you go without the sympathy, a smile, a cheerful heart, with caring inspirations with compassion warmth and affection, there is countless days that you do not see or talk to anyone. And if you do they are more doctors, and soon the doctors become all you have. So you grow and strive with the word, and still yet you must live it yourself. No one can make the certain choices for you, you do try to follow the Spirit’s leading and guidance, but you have to make the decisions. And that goes with your choices too. No one can have faith in God for you, and no one can believe in Christ for you. You have to pay your bills and that has to be done by God. And you and only you can get your sins forgiven. There are so many more obligations and responsibilities that all have to be done by you. You have to maintain yourself and you have to live your own life. No one can lovingly and unselfishly take up your load and carry it for you. You may have a friend at times come and take care of a burden here and there but the rest of the months you are on your own.
Then far away we have the faithful mother who can help and feels the burdens of pain, but she can only do so much, and she hurts you every time you even speak with her or ask her for help.
Next we have “bear one another’s burdens” (Gal. 6:2), and there are burdens that others can help you carry. The thing is no one can suffer for us, but true human friendship can strengthen the knees that are feeble and give a dose to our human hearts to give us that strength to make it and endure to the end our own sufferings. No one can do our job for us but a friend can give you that sympathy and added groups of words with the proper edification, in which you gain the power, hope, and faith to continue with your work. Sympathy is a hard word to describe, it does not take the pain away or remove the sorrow or the burden, but it does give you that shoulder to cry on and the word “companionship” a feeling or an emotion that we all need. It is a great thing to have true brotherly fellowship and just that edge of friendship rub off, to were you get a feeling that you need one another. The thing that I have been praying for is for someone to share my burdens and so many others in the prayer ministry. I have realized that I have gone almost through an unknown affliction this whole time without a human friend face to face, someone you can touch. I have a few but I don't see them. You see I don’t feel not one of us could make it healthy through this world without someone to share the loads. And my joy I experience is when I am able to give something to someone else, like a prayer or some written word of edification to strengthen their heart and soul. So all I want to do is build up someone else’s heart, heal them and give them the strength to go on and then my own burdens will stand dormant. So I send my heart in words and prayers. So we are to “Bear one another’s burdens and thereby fulfill the law of Christ” (Gal 6:10) You see we only become like Christ when we become useful to others and when I get the response of accomplishing a deed or making someone smile or there is a change in their medical health, or they get completely healed, I feel like I have accomplished something for the Kingdom, and our Lord, that I didn’t waste the time caring about myself and my own burdens, if it wasn’t for Christ, I don’t know what would have happened to me. All I know is I love God’s people and I am here to help and pray, and share the good news of what Christ has done for me, and the whole human race. And our last or the third bible scripture is “Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He will sustain you” (Psalm 55:22) I can go on for hours on this subject, but this will be our conclusion, because what Christ has done just to give me the strength and the hope, the guidance has helped me the whole way during these 3 years, and He was always there for me, and just to write this all down, there were times I shed some tears just writing this, and there are times when I looked back and felt the essence of victory in my heart, and for so many others. Last week was one of the busiest weeks for me in this year.it was a week where I had to attend our daily morning meetings in one of the churches.we meet daily at six in the morning to call on the father.its here that we pray for you.
on wednesday I had to walk to the slums to check on one of our church members who was sick.its an hours walk and you can imagine leaving my home at seven in the evening.when I went there I found this praise and worship leader in pain and agony with his body temperature hitting 40 degrees.we prayed together and left the home at around 10 p.m .you can imagine how it feels when you are all alone at night with no street lights on an familiar territory.thank God for protecting me on my way back home.thank him for the healing of the brother jeff.
On thursday it was bussiness as usual with prayers all through the day and we crowned it all in the evenning fellowship in church.it was well attend and we had time to make mention of your name before the throne of God.
Friday I hit the road again with devotion,lunch hour meetings,evening worship in one of the churches.this time I was ministering through music,ushering Gods people into his awesome presence in songs.it was powerful take time in the presence of the lord i.e from 6p.m to 8p.m none stop worship.what else can we do other than spend time in the lords presence in an attitude of worship.
From the worship meeting we headed straight t o our towns prayer mountain where we were to minister again to the flock of the lord.this was an interdenominational meeting.the room was packed with around five hundred people.it was such a tremendous time in the house of the lord.this place is where we saw the lord touch the life of a man who has been walking the streets of our town.the man was insane- mad but the lord healed him.he is now changed and singing for the lord.there is power in worship and praise.we finshed this meeting at 2a.m and was dropped at home by a friend.
on saturday morning I took some rest ,in the afternoon we had the a pastors seminar.we have planned some door to door meetings in one of the slums this saturday for the team.pray that the lord will move with us during this time.our prayer and fasting day is on fridays each week.we have such a wonderful program with pastors that avail themselves to enhance the gospel of christ in our nation and town.
From the pastors meetings I accompanied one of the pastors to one of his church members home to pray for a new born baby.we had fellowship in the house with over ten people in attendance.we give the lord glory.
last night I was in church for the praise and worship session then left to minister in one of the churches.we had interchanged with one of the pastors.He ministered in our church as I ministered in his-emmanuel christian centre.
we give the lord glory for what is happening among his children.
please keep praying with us and especially our outreach ministry.our desire is to see souls come in the kingdom fo our God.
