Good morning, everyone Welcome to The Church Ministries 92nd Sunday service assembly which is a world assembly of believers that truly love the Lord and we only teach sound doctrine and we try to keep up with the end times and all the relationships with what is truly happening in this world. This Church was intended to just be part of a mission downtown but everyone knows that all changed when I received this unknown affliction most likely from the devil, everything points to the makings of evil and when we understand that all this work out for good to those who love God well this right here is a example of God‘s Glory being unraveled and put into perspective, We all know the affliction changed many things for the actual meaning and purpose of the church. Many of you all know me and I have been suffering more then anyone can handle, I am still here but how much time do I really have? There is so much going on now that to a normal person they probably would have pulled all of their hair out of their heads by now. And that is the truth from my heart, I say this because I don’t want sympathy I just can not believe I am still getting hammered even not more then 5 minutes ago, most of you all know I have an appointment with a neurologist which is familiar with RSD/CRPS whch another way f saying it or calling it is Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome, I was going to write what it is like for me on a daily basis , but why talk about the 22 months of a daily suffering that you are alone in pain and you have know one to outright talk to and when I wake up I am soaking wet freezing cold and stand there and shiver till I put dry clothes on, and this may happen up to three to 4 times in one day, then we have to battle the pain, and my feet swelling up like footballs, the attacks that come through my mind are just so hurtful, it makes it even hard to pray, then the tears start rolling down and I ask God to help me and I do get an element of peace, then the phone starts wringing from all kinds of bill collectors and they all know I have not been able to work a paying job since this all started, I was physically fit and looked like a small Arnold Schwarzenegger, but all of that changed every thing fell and I ended up with a double hernia which that operation was successful but I was a hurting man for about the month of January, and I believe I picked up a fear of hospitals, which isn’t good to have a fear about anything My surgeon told me it all could have fell normally and I could have pulled something when I was in high school but my stomach was always tight and when I stopped with the weights in February 04’ I was too week then just imagine how I am now. So as time went on I started to turn into an old man, Vanity is really not my major concern, my health was more important. Well as I am writing this I wanted to get my films ready for Tuesday and the hospital could not find them. And they are the most important thing for saving my life at the moment and you see how Satan works on how to waste my time, you see now I will be up till 5 a.m. instead of 4 because of all the phone calls, I was not prepared to make, and the films of my life are probably sitting in the doctors office, do you believe all of this? This is a normal day in my life, a day of mass confusion and the devil wasting my time and all the words I wanted to say are forgotten, so I will try again. This week was another winner I started growing this mass right on the top gum line, and it got bigger and bigger and after a while I had this marble sticking downwards and forget about drinking any food because the pain was unbearable. I tried to get a hold of my doctor because I wanted to ask her if I should go to the emergency room or not then Tuesday early Wednesday the mass exploded and blood was everywhere and I had to put cotton balls with hydrogen peroxide on the hole and just bit down, I wanted to see her and she wanted to see me, but Thursday was the day for the rain to come, I was looking around for someone building and ark, I have a seam that leaks right on to the computer for the truck and I don’t want to be stranded and pay all that money again, hey told me to keep plastic over the top of it , now I have to run downstairs and take the plastic off because it will ruin the paint, you see I can’t get one paragraph done. So I saw her Friday and she gave me all kinds of stuff from the drug store, and the drug store guy has me walk in my condition to the office a block away and because he could not get through on the phone, and his question was do you know how strong thes are, the week before was they didn’t write the HI and the zip code and he has been taking care of me for a year or more, if anyone only knew how sick I was they would not ask me to walk down to the office 2 times before it was 4 hours of walking back and forth from the pharmacy to the office, which would have driven anyone crazy, what makes people do the things they do? there are so many people that are being lead by the wrong father in this world it is getting out of hand , remember in Matt 13, about the wheat and the tares and how abundantly the weeds (tares) are growing right along side of the wheat which are Christians. When does anyone give me an once of respect or even some compassion or understand that I just can’ walk back and forth like that, I will someday have a heart attack and he can then realize that I am sick and just for me to be standing there is a miracle in itself, well they wanted to kill Jesus. In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, (2Tim. 3:12) Plus I lost another two pounds, and my BP was so low that it was scary and she didn’t tell me till this week. We are still depending on our congregation and friends and the saints of this church that are helping us to pass along the prayer letters, and then they hand them off to someone else just walking home back to their village, you see The Church Ministries is getting out there and sending letters of prayer, hope, and health plus so many other edifying words and teachings, and they are not my words they are the Words written by the Spirit or inspired by God or Jesus I just type. Each night for the past 2 years I have been writing a prayer and I spend a few hours on each one, because with in the prayer there is a message and the Church is not only praying for others and hooked up to numerous amounts of many prayer ministries, and there are times I can not even keep up with all the emails requesting prayer. I do what I can, and you see that is what I believe that this is the will of God and the job God has me doing for Him, and I hope and pray that I would get a message back some day, from some place in a unexplored territorial area of one of the needy countries, and that would make me happier then a brand new truck. You see those are my dreams I don’t need fame or fortune that is for God I think He deserves it, especially now when they are trying to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance.
At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. (Matt. 24:10-14)
Dear Heavenly Father, How can we all say we love You in a few words, How can we say we want to worship You and give You joy in a few words, How can we show our appreciation for all the gifts and saving us time and time again. You are our love, You are everything to us, You are the Father who directed Jesus to do and say the things He did. How can we say to Your Son thank You for taking those brutal beatings, and then die for us to have salvation and sanctification and healing? How do we say to the Spirit that we want more of your directions and guidance, how we need that anointing and the laughter and the smiles and that warmth and the feeling of good and hope when the tears are ones of joy, How can I make this opening prayer say everything about how we feel toward You all, how can we express our love even more, we want to do the will of God to please You to give You the glory to make Him happy, not sad that He ever made the human race, He is probably thinking that now, God gives us all everything believers and non-believers, to everyone even the birds of the are and making beautiful grazing land for so many animals. God we are gathered to day to worship and to tell You thank You and to plead for mercy, because we are so full of sin, Lord you are so mighty and powerful, You could wipe us all out with one spoken word, don’t people understand that, don’t they understand that you are our father and that You have to discipline us and make us stronger, and sometimes Father it hurts and we are just all children looking for just a sunny day where we can just go out and play, Father You know what I am trying to say, we can’t do anything without You, how can we make the rest of the world understand that You have set up everything for us all, even an atheist drinking right now in some bar, and yet You love him and You have plans for each and every person, no matter what color or heritage or language they speak, we all came from one simple mold man and then came women, Father please be with us, please touch us and hold us when need You, Father e pray for the victims of all these disasters and we are all apart of them and You, You made us from You, please give us a righteous teaching and above all else let it sink in so we remember what you taught us. Please forgive us, Please try to understand people do things without thinking even ourselves, we are sinners please clean the slate for us, In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
A Woman Caught in Adultery
["Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and Pharisees brought a woman they had caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd. "Teacher," they said to Jesus, "this woman was caught in the very act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?" They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, "All right, stone her. But let those who have never sinned throw the first stones!" Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust. When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. Then Jesus stood up again and said to her, "Where are your accusers? Didn't even one of them condemn you?" "No, Lord," she said. And Jesus said, "Neither do I. Go and sin no more."] (John 8:1-11NLT)
I had to go through so many books and commentaries that I still do not come up with a logical decision on why the manuscripts of John’s Gospel do not include the story of the adulterous women, for a period of time. It is also said that a man named Augustine that he caused this part of the story stricken from many copies because people thought it had a teaching of immorality, and that it just should not be in the bible. It did not show up until in any Greek manuscript until the fifth century and the thing is no Greek head commented on the passage until the 12th century plus many other manuscripts do not contain this story when it seems that it was later inserted and there is much controversy that the writer was John and many say the writer wasn’t John, the fact remains is they may have taken it out for centuries because of the text and the way it was written reason 1 is because the woman was caught in adultery and Jesus let her go and people thought that they should take it out or it wasn’t the right thing for the bible to contain, no one actually knows I have spent hours on trying to find the truth but the only thing is we are going to have to leave it all up to the Holy Spirit to tell us all the truth. When it was inserted or was inserted back in, it was inserted in different places but all in the general area, they also say that the flow of the narrative the one telling the story was not the same and that the vocabulary does not match, and here again we are using men they may be scholars but they are still men. They also say if we take it out and let (John 7:52) run right into (8:12) the flow of the body of words sounds better then if we added the story in, it could have been there the whole time and the switching and taking it out and putting it in would destroy the realism of any manuscript, the way they all try to explain the story is like the whole book is taken lets say by pictures when it come to John 8:1-11 they say a different photographer took the pictures, which is an all right analogy. In other words it has taken a lot of reading so far to come up with that conclusion, the thing is who placed it in there and why and if it didn’t belong in there in the first place that person or persons are committing spiritual suicide, the first reason makes more sense that it was there and then was taken out and then put back in probably a few scriptures off but to me it fits right where it belongs, some back in the beginning they just didn’t want to ruin the concept of the whole story, they say Jesus acted like Himself and that there wasn’t any flaw there, but the whole story is just a ball of confusion, which I am just going to unravel the ball, first of all where was the man, now if they were going to bring this woman up on charges they needed the man, plus two witnesses to claim that a crime was committed in the first place so where were they , so far we have three missing people, as we all know they grabbed this woman whether she was in adultery or not, the thing is she must have been in some kind of adultery because Jesus would have known it and he would have not put so much stress on the fact by telling her and go and sin no more, the way he handed all the people was magnificent here is like a lynch mob dragging this woman and actually throwing her in front of Him and asking for His advice first of all we have scripture and law, [“If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the man and the woman must be put to death.”] (Lev. 20:10 NLT) and then [“If a man is discovered committing adultery, both he and the other man's wife must be killed. In this way, the evil will be cleansed from Israel.”] (Deut 22:22 NLT) Now we have the two main scriptures which does not tell us about stoning anyone, Then we have the scriptures that tell us of the witnesses and the stoning but does not have any adultery involved. Now these are the scriptures e are given in any book or bile notes our commentaries, but they don’t say anything about stoning. So now the Jewish leaders messed everything up by not arresting the man or they might have used a man from the group to stir this whole thing up to test Jesus and a trap, and see if they could trick him. So they figured they had him they only though He had two choices but Jesus was a bit smarter hen that, they figure if He said the woman should not be stoned then He would be disobeying the law of Moses and if Jesus said go ahead and stone here then they could have taken Him to the Romans because none of the religious authority could kill anyone om there own, they need that Roman approval just like they did with Jesus and Pilate. (John 18:31) First of all this whole thing is a bit touchy and we all know that e are not supposed to judge, judging is up to God not us we don’t know all the facts and maybe none of us will but we are breaking everything down so it is understandable, so we have the penalty for stoning but in scripture it just says to be killed but the surrounding scriptures mention stoning and Jesus could not be placed going against the law but the way he did it and what he said well the one with out sin can cast the first stone, remember Jesus stands for love and compassion, forgiveness and honor and He wasn’t going to fall for this kangaroo court. There are times when other people lets say in the world of today in an office setting and the big boss comes in and says well who made this mistake , you know what is going to happen everyone is going to pass judgment on the other person to take heat off themselves, so they might even keep their job, it is a cold world out there and we all know how people react when that block of fear sets in, and your family and the car payment and the house payment are on the line, a true Christian will stand up and take the blame if they did the mistake first of all to be honest and to always tell the truth, plus the fact that Christian will take the heat off everyone else, because sometimes the big boss ill narrow it down to a few but if he is not sure hw will fire the lot of them , that is the way that usually works, he might not do it right away but he will keep everyone in his mind and the slightest mistake one of the group makes they get fired on the spot this way the boss has a reason and was following his suspicion from the last mistake. So in my book if you do something wrong admit to the fact and maybe the boss will understand and take your answer as courage and not as a hiding little mouse, and he just might not fire you as he looks around the office. Beside we have God on our sides He makes the decisions not an earthly boss, if God wants you fired and go someplace better He will do it, yes it might hurt for a while but that is all a part of discipline.
All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. (Heb.12:11-13 NASB)
As you recall Jesus was paying to much mind to the whole situation He was just leaning down and writing in the dirt something and I have been searching and searching forever if anyone has some information on what He wrote, all we have is speculation and we just don’t have the exact truth and I don’t like these areas because it is not for sure truth and the church is one of truth, some say he was listing names, some say he was listing sins and some say He was listing the Ten Commandments anyway everyone was wondering what He was writing and He knew they were getting nervous at what he was writing ,He could have been just drawing the fish and the cross, some say he knew the names of all the adulterers, like I said before Jesus knew exactly what He was doing and He was getting the job done. After all of it was over and people were just dropping stones on the ground and walking away and you have noticed that everyone was leaving and the older ones were leaving first because the older ones know all about sin and they have been sinning a lot longer then some of these young whippersnappers, Christians are a race of people that are caring and loving and kind and considerate and as a Christian gets older they become more refined and more distinguished. Jesus knew the whole thing was a set up and the Pharisees and the teachers of the law and the rest of the crowd could have handled what ever they were supposed to, but if Jesus was around He was not going to see people get killed in front of Him and He is God, what he did is make them all feel bad for what they did just setting up the trick and what he did was just make them see themselves and what they could have done, he made them feel like just another angry mob of people getting together to kill someone just like a hanging in the oldest, most of the time when they hung a man, they did it without a trial, and took the law into there own hands, Jesus was still in the spirit during the wild west, and most of the time it was they all felt bad for what they did and sometimes they just hung the wrong man, and in the south they were hanging people for nothing just because of the color of their skin, it is bad when you have an angry group dong anything, they always just don’t get it right and sometimes they destroy the families that go with the person they are trying to accuse, so don’t ever be involved with and angry mob , you might regret it the rest of your life and not feel the same after it is over. We know when everyone left and Jesus looked at the woman scared to death and said well where are they, where are your accusers he didn’t like the in and He didn’t disregard her sin, he told her she must leave that life of sin and death and to Go and sin no more, Jesus is always ready to forgive any sin in my life but you deeply have to be honest with Jesus, He is your friend and He can understand what your going through and you have to confess what you are doing and repent from it that means you don’t do the sin anymore and make a complete turn around and He will forgive you, with the help of the Father and Jesus as our lawyer and pleads for us to the Father, we can be forgiven. So He did forgive the woman, and she went upon her way.
On the day the tabernacle, the Tent of the Testimony, was set up, the cloud covered it. From evening till morning the cloud above the tabernacle looked like fire. That is how it continued to be; the cloud covered it, and at night it looked like fire. Whenever the cloud lifted from above the Tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped. At the Lord’s command the Israelites set out, and at his command they encamped. As long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle, they remained in camp. When the cloud remained over the tabernacle a long time, the Israelites obeyed the Lord’s order and did not set out. Sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle only a few days; at the Lord’s command they would encamp, and then at his command they would set out. Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out. Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out. At the Lord's command they encamped, and at the Lord’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses. (Num. 9:15-23 NLT)
23"Suppose a man meets a young woman, a virgin who is engaged to be married, and he has sexual intercourse with her. If this happens within a town, 24you must take both of them to the gates of the town and stone them to death. The woman is guilty because she did not scream for help. The man must die because he violated another man's wife. In this way, you will cleanse the land of evil. (Deut. 22:23-24NLT)
There is a few meanings to this but we all have to see the clarity because this woman, was probably already engaged to another man so she had to be guilty of the crime before the marriage even took place, and for this reason only Moses commanded to be stoned, He commanded that all other adulteresses should be treated the same way and put to death the same way, but you see here the way of death is not specified. Check out (Deut 22:23)
"The Law states that in the case of adultery, both the man and woman must be put to death (Lev. 20:10, Deut. 22:22). But the law is said by the teachers of the law and the Pharisees and they said that Moses said they must stone this woman but the thing is where is the male adulterer in this situation and it is a good chance that maybe one of there own people in the group set the whole thing up to trap the woman so that they could go ahead and test Jesus, because how could they have caught the woman just so handily on this particular day and time. And the scripture reference just says to be killed but why did they mentioned stoning the woman? It is something to think about, maybe that is why they took this section out of the bible because there are to many ifs and what ifs, the bible is truth and sound and if we have so many confusing facts, even with the scriptures it might be the reason they did take it out our someone added it back later because it has a good teaching. Maybe it had some thing to do with Judaism and some sort of disgrace.
Jesus replied, "The truth is, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven. So don't be surprised at my statement that you must be born again. Just as you can hear the wind but can't tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can't explain how people are born of the Spirit." (John 3:5-8 NLT)
We all face sin in this world and we all want to be free from sin, and that way and the only way is through Jesus Christ, when we are declared not guilty it is just another word for being justified. So many of us think we still carry sin but once we have been saved and Jesus Christ lives in our hearts , God forgives us of all sin it is like we have never sinned at all. God forgives us because of our relationship with Jesus Christ. Some of people go through their whole life and are slaves to sin, when Jesus was talking to the stone cutters and regular people in the main square, courtyard of the temple and telling these men that they were slaves. The book of John 8:31-38. All they thought was they were descendants of Abraham and they have never been slaves to anyone , but the thing is Jesus was trying to tell them they were slaves to sin and without being in sin then you can be free and have true freedom. [“Jesus said to the people who believed in him, "You are truly my disciples if you keep obeying my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."] (John 8:31-32) [“But we are descendants of Abraham," they said. "We have never been slaves to anyone on earth. What do you mean, `set free'?"] (John 8:33) [“Jesus replied, "I assure you that everyone who sins is a slave of sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will indeed be free. Yes, I realize that you are descendants of Abraham. And yet some of you are trying to kill me because my message does not find a place in your hearts. I am telling you what I saw when I was with my Father. But you are following the advice of your father."] (John 8:34-38) Jesus is trying to teach truth to a may I say a hostile group of people He is trying to explain to people that He wants them to be true sons and daughters of God. There are missing the point and they were stuck in the own values of who they really are, which some of us even today think the same. What Jesus is trying to explain is they are living in a world of deception , when I heard today that the pledge of allegiance is now taking out under God, well we know our country is headed for complete ruin and we will fall, without God we are nothing and to take God out of our patriotic oath and public prayer we are now like sitting ducks, and I don’t see how the rest of the world can go on with there normal duties when the end is so close, Jesus is trying to keep us from deception, self- deception and from deception by Satan. We have to follow truth and Jesus Himself is truth that will give us total freedom. Many people say the old slang in an argument well you have to consider the source, in this life we have to consider the source because we are all going to suffer for not listening to the truth. Jesus Christ is the source of truth and the perfect example of what is right in this day and age, remember Jesus does not change what He teaches 2,000 years ago, His love still stands and His word frees us from the penalty of sin. He offers the path or the narrow road to life and the way to eternal life with God the Father. Some people just miss the point if God gives us everything how can we take God out of our pledges? It does not make sense to me. But the people of the world think that they do everything on there own. And Jesus Christ is offering us freedom from sin, not to go off and do as we please a freedom to help this world back on track and to follow what God wants us to do and what God wants us all to be. If I had a neighbor that when I came home and the grass was cut and edged and the house was painted and the shrubs and trees were all trimmed I would go over to the neighbors house and first say thank you and of course I would want to do something for him and I would owe him a lot. You see God has given us everything and some of the people of this world are just missing the point, they don’t thank him or even want to help Him for all the things He has done already, so people are falling into the deception of Satan and do not even know it. Serving God for me is the only thing that I want to do in my life, but I can still play many instruments, I can still sing, and act and still cook, so it does not matter what you are doing for a living you still can serve God in other ways and still be free from sin and still find that perfect truth which lies in the hands of Jesus Christ. You see what we don’t see and of course Satan does not what anyone to see he doesn’t want us to see his lies and his tricks but to some people it is a plain reality. Sin is a word not on many lips if you walk into a typical diner for breakfast during the week, sin has a way of scheming us, controlling us, even enslaving us, sin has a way to enter into our lives by tricks and determining and influencing our motives and actions it even affects our personality. So Jesus is trying to explain that through Him He can free us all from this invisible slavery and be the person and the child that God has prepared our whole life to be. Sin has a way of taking over our lives instigating, enslaving and restricting others lives, Jesus Christ can free you from all of these set backs or bondages. The thing that bothers me is people don’t even realize there lives could be such a blessing instead of a torment just by trusting our beloved Jesus. Remember in the last verse 8:38. But you are following the advice of your father, then everyone in the courtyard says: [“Our father is Abraham," they declared. "No," Jesus replied, "for if you were children of Abraham; you would follow his good example. I told you the truth I heard from God, but you are trying to kill me. Abraham wouldn't do a
thing like that. No, you are obeying your real father when you act that way." They replied, "We were not born out of wedlock! Our true Father is God himself."] (John 8:39-41) At the time the Jews though that Jesus was diminishing their ancestry and what they thought was their exclusive position with their relationship to God, they were taking truth as an insult which a lot of people do today, some people just don’t want to here the truth, or do not believe, or don’t want to believe the truth. The truth was Jesus was telling them they are slaves to sin. So their little comeback and being a bit macho, plus their ego was a bit tainted and they just come back with the same as before we have never been slaves to anyone on this planet. They were a bit out of their league trying to argue with Jesus and the truth, they must of forgot that they have already been enslaved by the Egyptians, the Assyrians, and the Babylonians. Plus they were being overpowered or bossed around or basically ruled by the Romans right at this time, so I don’t understand where they all were getting their facts maybe they failed there second grade history class. In the real sense of words and meanings they were not really in slavery but they were governed under a foreign supremacy, and here they are talking to the one they are looking for and didn’t even recognize the Messiah that is standing right in front of them who supossingly is the one to rescue them from this Roman rule that they don’t think exists, now it is getting real sticky. Is everyone just a sleep or blinded or brainwashed by the devil? I mean if this can happen to them and none of them are even on medications or drinking alcohol. And these people just didn’t give up they still claimed to be Abrahams descendents and they were already free and they just didn’t want to be given freedom, plus they even persisted that they held the righteousness of Abraham because Abraham was reckoned as righteousness. So you would have to admit they were just blind and their own spiritual dominance confused there hearts into the non existence of slavery to sin. All this time these men were talking about one thing and Jesus is talking about another, first they are all wrong about their historical heritage and Jesus is talking about a different liberty that everyone that sins is a slave to sin it is like when they were going to stone the woman that was caught in adultery John 8:1-11 Jesus said let the one who never sinned throw the first stone, of course no one threw a stone because they all realized they have sinned, so here probably the same people plus more just before hand admitted they were sinners and didn’t throw the stone and here is Jesus trying to liberate them from the slavery of sin and there are acting like they are righteous because Abraham was righteous and that they didn’t need to be free or have freedom from being a sinner. What a mess. Jesus even tried to explain the difference between a slave and a son, he tried to explain that a slave has know rights and there can be moved around and sold to anyone they were sold to instantly. So slaves are like nothing they were just like animals but higher and they didn’t have any legal status with the Roman Empire, slaves were a nothing. But a son is a different story, and all these people in the crown thought they could be part of Gods family just because they were a descendant of Abraham, and they thought that they had a permanent place or a home with God in heaven, and here Jesus is trying to hand then eternal life and freedom from sin and a place in God’s household and they just didn’t want it, sounds an awful like some of the people today, taking God out of our country, if it wasn’t for God the Israelites would have not won any battle. There were times when they carried the Ark of the Covenant into battle with them to show to the enemy that they had God on there side, now there taking God out of our flag, we are in for a big surprise. Our flag is flying on everything, tanks, ships, choppers, even on military uniforms I just don’t get it. Now back to the argument here is Jesus trying to take the sins and the slavery from these people and they don’t believe Him, and He is the only one that has the power and the authority to free people from the bondage of sin. People that don’t except the gift of freedom they will never know who or what they are supposed to do in this life and become, or what God created them to be in the first place and I would say they don’t have a chance at the next life. Jesus is perfect righteousness and truth to show people the freedom to follow God. [“Jesus told them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, because I have come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but he sent me. Why can't you understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to do so! For you are the children of your father the Devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning and has always hated the truth. There is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. So when I tell the truth, you just naturally don't believe me! Which of you can truthfully accuse me of sin? And since I am telling you the truth, why don't you believe me? Anyone whose Father is God listens gladly to the words of God. Since you don't, it proves you aren't God's children."] (John 8:42-47) Here is where we get down to brass tax; Jesus had to make the general characteristic between children that are born into the heritage and the true children of God. The religious leaders were born into the heritage of the initiator of the Jewish nation and most were descendents of Abraham, but you see they claimed to be children of God, what is scary is even today people claim to be this and that and there actions supersede who they really are, I myself was tricked and broken hearted because I listened and believed my leaders and their actions were very different then what I considered a holy person, and I got tricked just like this group was tricked and what Jesus is trying to explain with these people is there father can only be Satan, just by the way they act and the way they talk and the way they lie. They are just children of Satan, no other people would act the way they do, each one of them, just the way they moved about and there characteristics, which defiantly showed they were living under the direction of Satan, it is such a shame if they only listened back then, our future world might be just a bit different, I should count my blessings, in my research my findings were this if we didn’t have the Christians we have today the world would be probably a deserted wasteland. And that is a known fact, that is not something I just made up. Back then true children of Abraham would have not acted the way they did, even putting up such and argument, for no reason, things like not even recognizing the Messiah, if they were true followers of God they would have at least listened to Jesus talk, not want to kill Him. There is your proof right there. You now in the present, all I can say is watch out use your discernment, use the gifts God has given you and the talents God has given you they might save your life. Remember just because you go to a church, first of all have you studied the history of the church you attend? That is very important today because there are denominations spouting up all over the place, remember the Parable of the wheat and the tares in (Matt.13), plus that your family connections will not make you a true child of God, you see these people did not even act like their Father in Heaven let alone speak like their Father in Heaven, even there thoughts you have to remember one thing if you are a child of God you should act like a child of the Father of the universe. When you have human beings that show stubbornness, pride and prejudices, so through these qualities the leaders just didn’t want to listen, they thought they new more from this man from Galilee, Satan used all of the above to twist the minds and to keep them from even listening, and believing was even father away to even pay attention Jesus. So as it shows us very clearly the approach the way of thinking the characteristics of these leaders obviously acknowledged them as followers of Satan. The thing that is so pitiful they might not have been even aware they were following Satan, that is the thing he has gotten a lot more practice with the people of today, a saved Christian can be lured right in when they are o weak or out of touch with true Christians, back to our past their hatred of the truth, and their lies and their evil murderous oppositions with hostility indicates how much control the devil really had on each and every one of them and how they just followed Satan like it was just like a normal thing to do, remember they might not even known that they were following Satan. There are tools in the trade of getting things manipulated, and sometimes he can manipulate a whole group of people by saying one sentence to one person and then the one sentences gets blown out of proportion and before you know it the people become pawns that Satan can move along the chessboard like nothing ever changed, that is what we have to look out for is the other people they can be manipulated too, depending on their faith and strength and there prayers and their fellowship with God plus the relationship, as “Hitler” says many years ago you say a lie long enough, soon people start believing it. Satan still uses other people to get his plans in order, (Gen.4:8, Rom. 5:12,1John 3:12) and that is only a few scriptures. Jesus was the Son of God He came here to help people and still the majority hated him and wanted Him dead and even when they examined Him they could find nothing wrong with Him or no sin with in Him, he was a perfect man that was God a perfect example to follow and to imitate. Many times the leaders tried to test him and he would answer their questions but made them all look foolish, Jesus wants us to keep His words because heaven and earth will pass away but His words will never pass away, when He tells us if we obey His teachings we will not die, not the spiritual death , everyone dies the physical death, but there are points to be made in some aspects even the physical death will ultimately be overcome, Those who follow Jesus will be raised up if you are a sleep or if you are alive and you will met Him in the clouds for eternal life. Jesus is quite a blessing and He always will be, and He does not change, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. My warning to all the children of God watch out for the wolves in sheep’s clothing and use your gifts and of all things set upon love because both Jesus and God is love. And now, may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, all that is pleasing to him. Jesus is the great Shepherd of the sheep by an everlasting covenant, signed with his blood. As we conclude this sectional piece of John and this study we do have to say that in verse 58 this is probably one of the most heavy statements that Jesus could say, when they we all making fun of Him and said your not even fifty years old yet and you have seen Abraham , Jesus was going to use His divinity and His closeness towards the Father and on top of everything this whole group was almost making Him feel like He wasn’t who He said He was, and He had to put these people in there place, so not only did He say He existed before Abraham, He used God’s holy name of “ I am” (Ex. 3:14) to Himself , so they had to say something so then they wanted to stone Jesus after that saying that because they thought it was blasphemy when He claimed to be the same as God , but Jesus is God so they didn’t know what to say but they wanted to stone Him, running all over after Him and they were all mad, but we all know our Jesus is the Son of the Father and the Father tells Jesus what to say for the Fathers glory, remember He was not seeking glory for Himself. This was a total Heavy situation. Anyway He just disappeared. And He got His point across.
31Jesus said to the people who believed in him, "You are truly my disciples if you keep obeying my teachings. 32And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
33"But we are descendants of Abraham," they said. "We have never been slaves to anyone on earth. What do you mean, `set free'?"
34Jesus replied, "I assure you that everyone who sins is a slave of sin. 35A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. 36So if the Son sets you free, you will indeed be free. 37Yes, I realize that you are descendants of Abraham. And yet some of you are trying to kill me because my message does not find a place in your hearts. 38I am telling you what I saw when I was with my Father. But you are following the advice of your father."
39"Our father is Abraham," they declared.
"No," Jesus replied, "for if you were children of Abraham, you would follow his good example.[e] 40I told you the truth I heard from God, but you are trying to kill me. Abraham wouldn't do a thing like that. 41No, you are obeying your real father when you act that way."
They replied, "We were not born out of wedlock! Our true Father is God himself."
42Jesus told them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, because I have come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but he sent me. 43Why can't you understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to do so! 44For you are the children of your father the Devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. 48The people retorted, "You Samaritan devil! Didn't we say all along that you were possessed by a demon?"
49"No," Jesus said, "I have no demon in me. For I honor my Father--and you dishonor me. 50And though I have no wish to glorify myself, God wants to glorify me. Let him be the judge. 51I assure you, anyone who obeys my teaching will never die!"
52The people said, "Now we know you are possessed by a demon. Even Abraham and the prophets died, but you say that those who obey your teaching will never die! 53Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? Are you greater than the prophets, who died? Who do you think you are?"
54Jesus answered, "If I am merely boasting about myself, it doesn't count. But it is my Father who says these glorious things about me. You say, `He is our God,' 55but you do not even know him. I know him. If I said otherwise, I would be as great a liar as you! But it is true--I know him and obey him. 56Your ancestor Abraham rejoiced as he looked forward to my coming. He saw it and was glad."
57The people said, "You aren't even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham?"
58Jesus answered, "The truth is, I existed before Abraham was even born!" 59At that point they picked up stones to kill him. But Jesus hid himself from them and left the Temple.
Well Lord Thanks for helping that we made it another week, thank You for blessing us this week, and the next until we all gather again or if some decide to visit and worship during the week, or at any time, this is probably the only Church that you can go and worship at any time during any hour or any day and still feel the touch or the anointing, that is why we leave the service up all through the week, We think the whole church is quite original and we still try hard to be simply The Church and that is a pure as we can get to be just The Church with Ministries on the end, so we are The Church and practice early Church doctrine and have other prayer ministries and a prayer letter great commission ministry, and just if someone wants to talk they are always welcome to email or call anytime, so if you ever need someone to talk to I will be here for you, I do not sleep much and I can share what I am going through and you can share what you are going though, don’t hesitate I love all people and I want to help at any time at any hour, we can just pray together I am here and I praise God I am still able to talk and to even still have the phone working, thanks to God, that is the lest I can do or say, I want to help, God has given me the talents and the gifts to answer most of your questions and I am far from being a stuffed shirt and I do have many years under my belt and they were many good years I can tell you the best places to camp out, or hike or have a travel trailer, and I can even remember all the good churches I attended, I had a good life of travel and those days I will never forget, standing over a cliff in the Redwoods and catching salmon the size of a big dog, climbing to the top of the Hole–in-the- Rock, 75 miles up the Colorado River in Utah from Page, AZ and the Glen Canyon Dam, and that can only be done by boat, you can’t get a chopper in there because the mountains are to steep and jagged, I have a lot to share about Christ and a lot to share about any subject you could think of, God gave me all of everything and the knowledge to help, just to look at the Lower falls in Yellowstone, and swimming in a rock formed pool made by a 600 ft straight drop waterfall in Yosemite National park.
