Good morning everyone, welcome to The Church Ministries 91st Sunday service, it has been a long time since we first started the Church and the Sunday sermons, like I have told you all before it has been getting harder and harder as each week that goes by, and this is one of the weeks that I almost gave up, Normally I start early in the morning , but today with our friend and neighbor that doesn’t talk but likes to weed whack his yard it was one of those days again with that load engine, I went into the other room and went to sleep and I was not going to fight it again, I have been too tired lately to even get up early anymore, I always wake up don’t get me wrong but what ever I have and what ever games the devil is playing with me, I don’t ever get a good nights sleep, I wake up every morning in complete panic, socking wet all my clothes are wet even my hair, nice for a preacher, nice for a man of faith, but you all want me to tell the truth and this is a bible truth Christian Church so I speak the truth, it will not hurt us because the Church is truth are if we speak truth that would not make any difference, God has done wonders with the search engines and it all depends on how you search for the church, like with google we have been number one for about a year and a half if you spell thechurch ministries with thechurch all one word space then ministries, most all the big ones are done that way but some of the heavy search engines want it spelled out “the church ministries” altavista, teoma, yahoo, alltheweb, all the others you just keep thechurch together and it will be number one usually so we can not complain or murmur, I don’t want to be like the Israelites and not be happy with the gifts God gives us, we didn’t do any mass mailing or we don’t sell anything, we were going to do ordinations but we didn’t want to be another give away for money mill, we just wanted to follow the great commission and spread the gospel and be a good source of information Christian usually, most everything on this site is Christian related, there are one or two links that are related but they are in a scope of education in relative fields, we have many links like the map of Israel which is beautiful, and we have all the movies on an interview with Jesus and they are all beautiful, plus we have the fathers love letter and we have all kinds of films and flash movies to educate you about Christ and basic Christianity, you could very easly spend afew days with the Church plus we have all the digitracks that are available which also teach you about Jesus and give you so many other links to many Christian teachings, and we are all for sound doctrine and the truth, we have a few full length films like the Jesus story and God’s story and we have so much on prayer, we do also have a prayer ministry working every night for the past two years, and being I have been so sick lately I have desided to put up a few as mini sermons today they all are wonderful teachings and they all have insight to salvation and the love of God. I have been fighting intense spiritual warfare and it is beginning to get out of hand, and when my doctor tells me I will not be able to see her anymore only till the end of October, I almost fainted in the chair and burst out in tears, one because to find a Christian doctor who I can pray with and get my spirit fixed so to say along with my body and soul and they have given me only one alternative and I must say I will not go there or if I have to walk or hitch hike in my condition half way across the island or maybe a two hour trip completely around the other side I may have to move anyway, this is just more things to put it all mildly is messing with my life, and I been having chest pains since she told me this news, and it was the hardest news I have ever heard, and at 51 and my weight at 127 with clothes on and shoes I would say maybe about 124 in stocking feet, I can not take any more stress because this has been to much. I have the word and that keeps me going.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NIV)
"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Mark 13:12-13 NIV)
"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. (Matt. 24:9-14 NIV)
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. (Matt.5:4 NIV)
We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing. Therefore, among God's churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. (2Thes. 1:3-4 NIV)
13But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed (1Pet.4:13 NIV)
Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs he wants to please his commanding officer. Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. (2Tim. 2:3-7 NIV)
Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's word is not chained. Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (2Tim. 2:8-10 NIV)
If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. (1Pet.4:14 NIV)
Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.(2Tim.4:2-5 NIV)
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness.(Heb. 12:10 NIV)
He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him. (Psalm 126:6 NIV)
Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. (Psalm 126:5 NIV)
All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. (Heb. 12:11-13 NASB)
Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. (James 5:10-11NIV)
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. (Isa. 61:1-3 NIV)
For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. (1Pet. 2:19-21)

This week I will be doing some mini-sermons which were prayer letters that people are starting to circulate, togive you all a general idea what kind of prayer letters we are talking about and the meaning behind them. The Scriptures above are ones that keep me going and for the outreach to share if they take this whole sermon into the uncharted areas so they have plenty of scripture, because there is 3,000 languages without any scripture at all.
[“So don't be surprised, dear brothers and sisters, if the world hates you. If we love our Christian brothers and sisters, it proves that we have passed from death to eternal life. But a person who has no love is still dead. Anyone who hates another Christian is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers don't have eternal life within them.”] (1 John 3:13-15) My prayers are with you, but in my letter today we came across some love and the understanding in the Bible and the Spirit has me typing away again to explain the example of God’s feelings, As we all know in the book of (Genesis Chapter 4,) Cain killed his brother Abel, God excepted Abel’s offering and not Cain’s, they both chose different professions and they both wanted to give the best of there profession , if we were a carpenter lets say the carpenter would give some type of offering with some type of crafted wood, as we all could see that would be a simple deduction, as we do know through the facts we know that Cain was not giving his best to God, and it was either the way he presented it or what he chose or maybe his attitude, the bible does not tell us why God rejected Cain’s sacrifice, we all are trying to figure the purposes of why God rejected his offering, anyway Cain through Jealousy and just shear anger made him to murder, perhaps that his general personality was just what turned the offering into a despised article. We all have to understand that people who are honorable with decency and integrity,-- expose and embarrass or humiliate or have a way of disgracing those who are not full of the admirable qualities. You see when we totally live for God and people see and feel it, those others they just don’t want to be around people like us because we naturally expose and make aware of their wicked or corrupt or even dishonest way of living, people of this day may carry all of these bad qualities but some only have one or maybe not any or they just have an immoral lifestyle. So the world will hate us because we are reaching out to be more like Christ and we are trying to be renewed daily and the people of the world are just satisfied the way they are, some would like to improve, but with out that touch of the Holy Spirit or God they just end up staying the way they are, they find no reason to better themselves because they think they are doing just fine, but when they come up to a real Christian they tend to get uncomfortable, they have to watch their language and certain gestures and so on. That is why the world just hates us, and we believe in harmony love and friendship, and now in the world today there is a lot of greed and the lust of the eyes and the flesh and of course, the pride of life, most people just can sit back for hours and talk about money and what they want to buy and how they can get a different job and make more money, but they all miss the point that “God” gives them everything , but you try to tell that to someone in the world they would think you were completely crazy. They would burst out and say I worked so hard, and this house is mine, and I saved and we all can here it, because we all have heard it before. It is such a shame that people of the world just don’t realize that God gave them that job in the first place and God wanted them to have that house. Anyway back to our story, I will add an old proverb in to clarify the situation or to give it more understanding [“God hates sacrifices that are brought by evil people.
He hates it even more when they bring them for the wrong.”] (Prov. 21:27) Remember when they grew up Able became a shepard, and Cain became a man that cultivated the ground, so when it was time of the harvest Cain presented Him some of his crops, and Abel brought a gift the best of his firstborn lambs from his flock, so as the story goes He excepted Able and his gift but did not accept Cain and his gift, I wanted to talk about loving your brother and sister, not the other way around but this is the way the Spirit is leading me so we do know that Cain’s gift was probably not up to God standards and we have to analyze the situation at hand and we have to realize that God has a lot more wisdom and He can see right into our hearts so His motivation and evaluation and he looks at the quality we offer, and joyful giving is very important to God, when we are giving to God or one of our brothers and sisters, we should actually feel good about giving, I enjoy watching someone’s face when I give them a gift, I remember I gave a old antique coronet that worked and was in good shape still in the carrying box, on Christmas to a horn player in my church and he about lost it that look on his face was something I will never forget, we always have to remember everything belongs to God anyway, but when we give to God we have to give Him our best and the want and love and attitude of joy to give Him the gift, no matter what we give it could be a drama in church, or learning a Christian song in sign language, so what ever it may be a talent or something material or just our hearts and time, we are to please our Father. It is very simple Cain reacted poorly and sin was right at the door and he got so angry, I hope some of us look in the mirror when someone tells us we messed up or made a mistake or just didn’t do something properly, and I hope we all try to fix or correct what we have done, or what ever type of error we completed, we don’t want to end up like Cain we want to follow the path of God, not sin. [“We know what real love is because Christ gave up his life for us. And so we also ought to give up our lives for our Christian brothers and sisters. But if anyone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need and refuses to help--how can God's love be in that person? Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions. It is by our actions that we know we are living in the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before the Lord, even if our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Dear friends, if our conscience is clear, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive whatever we request because we obey Him and do the things that please Him. And this is His commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us. Those who obey God's commandments live in fellowship with Him, and He with them. And we know He lives in us because the Holy Spirit lives in us.”] (1John. 3:16-24) [“The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you; The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).”] God Bless, Rev. Paul
“[How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death; my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall. But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.]” (Psalm 13:1-6) I to yesterday felt like giving up, even as a pastor and running a prayer ministry for 2 years , and I am devoted and dedicated and love the Lord, but still as David he says how long? David says how long four times in the first two verses and when your already down and kicked and can barely stand, let alone stand firm which is one of our weapons against the devil, besides the sword of the spirit and our faith an as we listen to the word that God brings us and then we fight into action, with Him at the front and with His blessing for us to fight the war against satan and to bring back those things that we lost, we are wanting just the promises of God we just want what was taken away from us by the evil one, but as we listen to David he is expressing his true feelings to God and that is exactly what we all should be doing being totally honest with God and with our feelings that is why you here David say How long, just like I say it and probably many of the children of God say it or anyone in the Abrahamic Seed covenant, we are all wanting God’s attention and we all need God’s push so we can act or walk or fight or stand in the will of God. We all want victory and we all want our prosperity and we all need our healing may it be for us or another family member, we have to stand on the promises of God and when we feel God is distant, like David he does not give up at the end of the Psalm he still says he will sing to the Lord, and the thing is when David prayed he really went all out he was in a joyful stage, he danced and he cried and sang and he really put his whole heart through prayer, maybe that is why the Lord God really enjoyed him and they were so close. We all pray different and some of us just go into the prayer closet by ourselves and speak to God, in which Jesus does recommend to be in secret and He does say your Father will reward you. So as we all know prayer to God can be anyway at any time but it is our honesty, we can’t hold things back, and we can’t be afraid, He is our Father and He is closer to me than my earthly father. David was in distress in this Psalm and in the end he did find hope and peace, some of us all feel so much better after talking to God, some of us are so upset it is hard to pray that is when we are to take those small steps to God and say a few words , like as if you were telling a close friend your troubles, not someone that is going to judge you or say I don’t want to here any negative confession which I have came across a few of those , with this negative and positive confession which is this New Age thing that has been going around lately which leaves you out in the cold, because you are not able to talk about your problems or problem or lets say you are upset that you are facing death some of these people don’t even want to hear that, and that gets a bit out of hand, but when we talk to God He always makes you feel better sometimes the tears roll down my face in prayer and you feel the anointing and the presence of God which is so beautiful. God always helps us gain the right perspective or the right way to look at things which in turn you do feel better, that is why I write prayer letters to so many people is because when I get one, it is like a communication of care and love and you know that the person on the other end really cares for you and that alone can give you strength and fortitude to fight the evil that may be affecting your life. Some of us all need prayer and when we are praying to God some of us just get impatient if lets say we are suffering and being hammered by evil and we are pleading with God and saying how long or when is this all going to stop, some of us have medical problems like myself and we all want the pain or the limitations to stop so we can go back to normal , we are only going to be better servants for God, and to most of us if they are asking for help or prayer. When sometimes we are waiting for prayer or an answer from the Lord we should always have that trust that God will come to us and His justice will come, remember we too have to keep our faith and always rest upon the love of God. “[Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vine; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation. The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He will make me as surefooted as a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.]” (Hab.3:17-19) We know all things go wrong and things don’t go the way you have planed but this scripture Habakkuk even though he would go through starvation and all kings of losses he still would rejoice in the Lord there was an old book written and it would say anytime anything bad would happen we should rejoice and thank God for it even praise the Lord for all the bad things that happen and that book sold millions, you see we can’t be governed by things that are going on around us even though they are affecting our very lives we still should rely on God and His strength and ability to help. We go through times where nothing makes any sense and everything is going wrong and day after day it seems to get worse and worse, that is when we have to take our eyes off of all the problems and focus on the Lord, but I just feel when you are in pain and like I am it is awful hard to think of something else but God has taken care of me, and I just feel so bad for anyone suffering pain. In the scripture He will give His followers and believers the grace to run through danger and rough areas of life like the grace of a deer, and we know the world is falling but during these times God gives us strength though our Spirit and sends messages of confidence that way so we should always be listening to the communication from God to our inner Spirit, and if we do listen then we will always have victory because God is always running the show, sometimes we don’t think so when we face continuous pounding but we have to look to the end performance when we will all be in victory standing firm with the Lord.
Habbakkuk did ask God why are all the evil people in the world are prospering and the righteous are suffering, and God said back to him they don’t not in the overall length of time. You see we don’t see everything God is doing and we don’t see the intricate patterns being formed, God is still in control and we do know He is not going to ever leave us and nothing can separate us from His love and confidence and hope through this perplexing, bewildering world. My prayers are with you, I am sorry for getting a bit carried away but the Spirit just had me type away. God bless you, Rev. Paul
My prayers are with you, many of us have gone through so many different burdens or troubles or some kind of complications, I myself have had a day that is a day that I will remember. In this prayer today I would like to tell you a story while we pray. The scripture I am taking is an old one from the Old Testament, It is about the Israelites and they were given things to eat but they just were not satisfied they keep on worrying or being under stress or strain or they just were not happy with what they were given and they always would complain or murmur to Moses and Aaron, Aaron was the brother of Moses which most of you do know but I thought I would write it in there anyway.[Then they left Elim and journeyed into the Sin Desert, between Elim and Mount Sinai. They arrived there a month after leaving Egypt. There, too, the whole community of Israel spoke bitterly against Moses and Aaron.] (Exodus 16:1-2) The whole nation was complaining to Moses and his brother but you have to realize Moses was being guided by God and the Israelites just were complaining about everything to them, but you see they were complaining or murmuring at God, which is wrong, they were acting like children and God knew what was going to take place, I guess God knew how I would take the news in trembling and in tears, and I wasn’t thankful to God of few things I did receive and I have been out right worrying like a child myself, a 51 year old preacher who traveled the road with nothing but a backpack and a bible and then I never worried like today, but now I am barely able to take care of myself which puts things in a little different perspective, but still I have no excuse and I hope the Lord forgives me. Back to our story- the place where they were at was a bad environment, desert of just sand and stone and to God it was a perfect place for Him to test the crowd. They have only left Egypt for a month and a half and they already wanted to go back to Egypt and eat lamb stew and have all the bread they wanted , but the thing is they were slaves and they were working harder then any one of us today, their bosses just didn’t care about their lives back then, they were the actual slave drivers the real thing and the life of a Hebrew slave was not looked upon as anything important, just like the way I feel at times with my whole affliction story, some people in this world just don’t care about human life, You see God is working the Israelites and I would say God is testing me to shape my character just like with theirs. When we have a relationship with God and we start worrying that means bluntly that we just don’t trust Him a hundred percent. So anyway the Israelites are just complaining and murmuring if there is any danger or some things were not right or if the food wasn’t up to par or they were wandering in the desert in the heat and cold, anyway they were taking everything out on Moses and Aaron, and they kept saying they wanted to return to Egypt, but as always they were just blinded by satan or just blinded period. God provided for all their needs, but when you go through different problems and different situations the stress builds up and you start thinking the wrong things and they just started to complain. Everyone goes through situations, and many go through countless situations an if you have constant pain and everything going wrong day after day you get a bit stressful and you say things you just don’t mean, which is only normal, but the Israelites didn’t really want to go back to Egypt they were remembering the good points and forgetting how bad they were treated, when you get into so much frustration you can’t find the center of attention you are thinking about all the bad things and you loose touch, and you get stressed out and to tell you the truth if you get all stressed out you are not trusting enough in God, which is bad and I know God was hurt back then, they were constantly thinking of a way to get out of the situation they were in. They just didn’t focus on the power of God, the same with us, if we are going through tough times we should concentrate on the power and love of God, not the bad stuff. We need to pray and ask God to help us through the situation, that is what He wants, if we don’t talk to God that means we just don’t have a relationship with Him just like the Israelites, God wanted to see what he could do to test their obedience and still give them what they needed so he gave them bread in the morning this is when manna was first brought into the biblical era or time. So Moses told everyone to take these flakes that fell to the ground and gather about two quarts per person and at night quail would fly in so they would have there meat. But with the manna they tried to gather more than what they were told, and in the morning it would have worms and bugs and would smell, even though God would supply it everyday some people thought that they just might not get any for the next day, a pure element of not trusting God. and when they were told to gather double for the day before the Sabbath because He didn’t want them working on that day, Moses told then to gather 4 quarts per person on that day, and in the morning on the Sabbath you would see Israelites out there looking on the ground, it is like they just didn’t trust God again, and they new the day before they had to boil or bake their second part of food for the next day because that was the day of rest, and on that Sabbath day the bread or the manna would be fine no bugs and it would taste like it should like a honey bread. So God was watching just like He watches us, they had to follow God’s instructions just like we have to do the same thing, we have to follow God if we don’t we will not get very far or we will totally be one big ball of stress, just like they were, we have to be obedient just like the Israelites, God knows what is good for us in every distinct way, why wouldn’t we listen to Him? The Israelites were not doing a good job, and that is one of the reasons they walked for forty years, not the main one, but God gave them there bread every morning thin flakes like frost and they could grind it like grain and do most anything with it mostly they would make cakes like our pancakes of today, you see God was always right there for them every morning and it was a gift from Him and it always turned out to just what they needed, Just try to calculate how much bread to drop everyday for millions of people, and God took care of them, now with us we not only have this story but we also have Christ, remember Him saying: [Yes, I am the bread of life! Your ancestors ate manna in the wilderness, but they all died. However, the bread from heaven gives eternal life to everyone who eats it. I am the living bread that came down out of heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; this bread is my flesh, offered so the world may live."] (John 6:48-51) I want to end this story and prayer with my friend and yours Jesus Christ, He alone can save us and He can help us in anything we need, back then the Israelites didn’t have Jesus, but He was up there with the Father discussing life and the ultimate plan of salvation and watching and helping the Hebrews and still with all their murmuring they still loved them and fed them, Jesus is our living bread we become one with Him and be unified together many people didn’t understand when He said this bread is my flesh and you have to eat my flesh, we are to share in believing in Him and understanding and truly welcoming the whole death and resurrection power of Jesus, remember we are servants for Christ. What could be more exciting then serving the living God? We are devoted people and our way of life is focused on Him and on His teaching, plus we have the Holy Spirit which helps us trust beyond all the bad things that happen to us and all the stress that hits us time and time again, the evil one may be a major cause but we have the trinity and with the power of the Holy Spirit and the Love of Jesus and the wisdom of the Father how could we ever murmur or complain, still some of us do, and we have to look to the light of God always and He will bring us out of any bad situation every time. So why don’t we trust in Him totally? Is the world and some of the people around us having that much of an influence? Maybe we should all ask ourselves that question; we are all living different lives in different places. Today it was a horrible situation that was laid on me, and still I knew I had to send some prayers to help others, because there are other people in the same boat or even worse, I had to put up a memorial for a person today for the church and she died a terrible painful death, and from the wording that her friend wrote one of the prayers helped her to learn about Christ before she died, so my brother and sisters thank the Lord that God has given us a second chance, and He gave up the closest thing to Him, God our God giving up His son to save us, How can we ever thank Him for that, How can we ever stop thanking Him, we are all human and we have to communicate with God and talk to Him no matter how rough it gets, no matter how long we suffer or go through tests or burdens or troubles, we know God has a place prepared for us but we have to stay loyal and true to our God, I am not one of those preachers who think the once saved always saved goes very far, we have to keep our friendship and relationship with God open with prayer, and no matter how bad it gets we should not murmur or complain what God has given us. My prayers are with you, God Bless, Rev. Paul
My prayers are forever with you, each night I take each name and burden and place them on the church alter, for a group prayer later, I am one of those people who just care, I believe in the power of prayer, I truly love the Lord, I myself have been fighting and affliction that no one in Hawaii can diagnose me for the moment, and it has been going on for almost 22 months, but if I didn’t have this affliction, I would not be able to spend so much time with all the people that need prayer, so in a way I praise the Lord for the suffering because it does bring God the Glory and through me He can help so many people, and people become a little closer to Him after I write a prayer letter, which I do have joy doing, I try to talk to God about everyone’s burdens or pain or problems and troubles, and yet I try to forget about my own by helping others and it is such a real blessing to know that you have helped another human being, or a brother or sister, at times I do shed some tears but that just makes me share in the sufferings of Christ, this way we all get to know Him better. There is an old story about courage and faith and obedience to the Lord. It happens in the beginning of Exodus, right before the time that Moses was born and hidden, and how that story began, and as we begin this story it is talking about a man named Joseph, who was brought to Egypt as a slave and his own brothers sold him off to some traders, they almost killed him because of jealousy, but Joseph could understand dreams and he was locked in prison falsely and then he rose to second in command of all Egypt. See how God works, so we never know we could be completely homeless and sick one day and the next we could be living in a mansion being cared for the next, so we never ever can loose hope. [In time, Joseph and each of his brothers died, ending that generation. But their descendants had many children and grandchildren. In fact, they multiplied so quickly that they soon filled the land. Then a new king came to the throne of Egypt who knew nothing about Joseph or what he had done. He told his people, "These Israelites are becoming a threat to us because there are so many of them. We must find a way to put an end to this. If we don't and if war breaks out, they will join our enemies and fight against us. Then they will escape from the country." So the Egyptians made the Israelites their slaves and put brutal slave drivers over them, hoping to wear them down under heavy burdens. They forced them to build the cities of Pithom and Rameses as supply centers for the king. But the more the Egyptians oppressed them, the more quickly the Israelites multiplied! The Egyptians soon became alarmed and decided to make their slavery bitterer still. They were ruthless with the Israelites, forcing them to make bricks and mortar and to work long hours in the fields. Then Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave this order to the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah: "When you help the Hebrew women give birth, kill all the boys as soon as they are born. Allow only the baby girls to live." But because the midwives feared God, they refused to obey the king and allowed the boys to live, too. Then the king called for the midwives. "Why have you done this?" he demanded. "Why have you allowed the boys to live?" "Sir," they told him, "the Hebrew women are very strong. They have their babies so quickly that we cannot get there in time! They are not slow in giving birth like Egyptian women." So God blessed the midwives, and the Israelites continued to multiply, growing more and more powerful. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own. Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: "Throw all the newborn Israelite boys into the Nile River. But you may spare the baby girls."] [Exodus 1:6-22] so as the story goes this new boss of Egypt didn’t know who Joseph was and the treaty they had and the agreement they had for all of the people of Israel , and this new guy was afraid of all these people because they were becoming so numerous, and he thought they could go against his kingdom and some how destroy or ruin it, but that was not their way at all these were all God fearing people that loved one another and followed God’s law. So this new boss decided to make them slaves to oppress them and just destroy their whole spirit to stop their growth. Slavery was an old practice back then to take care of conquered people and other prisoners, but Israel wasn’t a conquered nation, they were just foreigners from another land but they didn’t have the normal rights as an Egyptian would. There were all different levels of slavery then with different jobs and talents, but this boss guy wanted to just make life miserable for these people like in the mud pits working long hours and treated very poorly and they were watched by these slave drivers and they just made their lives depressing hurtful and just hard to live. So as time passed the boss man thought the Hebrew nation would just be worn out and weak and stop or slow down there multiplying, forcing them into slavery and just mistreating and wearing them down, all of them, but the nation got stronger and multiplied even more, you see God was looking over His children, but still it was very hard on them. This is the lesson I need to learn because if they can do it I can. You see when most people are mistreated and disrespected and just treated like animals some people get defeated. But the Hebrew nation used the troubles and the things that were happening to them to make themselves stronger, and you develop certain qualities that would prepare us as it did them for our burdens in the future. I myself should be stronger but my strength on the outside is gone, I am a bag of bones, but inside I am stronger, but there are times I feel the burden and I do shed a tear, I have to be honest. The thing is which is very important in life, Jesus was an overcommer and we want to learn from Him, the point is we can not be overcommers without burdens and pain to overcome. These are the times that God is really watching us just like He did to the nation, just like He is doing with me our you, we have to be true and trust God during these hard times because these are the times we not only become better people but God sees that we can handle the situation and He might want is to be something or do a task for Him that requires the strength that we are learning now. None of us know why the suffering has hit us, but we have to be survivors we just can’t give up and say we are defeated. We have to be stronger individuals, and if we have God at our side there is no way we can loose, as long as we keep our eyes on the Lord and nothing of the world. The next thing this boss man thought to stop the population was to start killing the baby boys and let the baby girls live and this way he would slow down the population, first of all this is a terrible thing to even think about murdering helpless babies, very bad, so this boss man (Pharaoh) asked these two midwives to start killing the boys while during the birth process and there was no way these two midwives were going to kill babies after they have been comforting and helping the mothers and the children all this time, these midwives had a special care for the babies and the mothers. So this Pharaoh ordered that the Hebrew boys be killed, and these woman showed more courage because there life was on the line, if they didn’t do what he ordered they would be killed, so it took some guts, and of course their love for God, why disobey Gods major law, that is a bad situation to be in, but these woman had it together, they let all the baby boys live against direct orders, you see our faith should be as strong as their faith, their faith in God gave them the courage to take a stand for what they knew was right, so in this timeline they just didn’t do what authority told them to do. God would never expect us to obey those in authority when we are asked to go against the word of God and the laws of God. There are many people in the bible who did just that not to follow evil authority, and God will stand right along side you, just like He did with them, and some of the stories are very heavy, and we all know that we always listen to God before we ever listen to man. So in the story the midwives just lied, and God blessed them in the end, not for the lie but for not murdering innocent children. I wanted to share with you courage and faith and how God will stick by us through anything if we are doing right, so my prayers are with you all, God Bless, Rev. Paul
{When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch. He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the LORD. Then he got on the bed and lay upon the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out upon him, the boy's body grew warm. Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out upon him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, "Call the Shunammite." And he did. When she came, he said, "Take your son." She came in, fell at his feet and bowed to the ground. Then she took her son and went out.} [2 Kings 4:32-36] I grabbed these few scriptures out of 2 Kings to kind of open up the way to the love of God and what kind of power God has, yes God can raise the dead and as we learn about our character Elisha, and how and the way he performed of making the boy well again just shows that the power of God is just unstoppable God is so mighty that we can not even explain a pure spirit of power and love. The method used in this situation shows how God does get personable and the approach that was taken, and the raising of the dead boy was a wonderful sight just to read it and then picture it into our minds. We ourselves must have a complete concern and care for others and what we do and our actions and attitude multiplies the message we carry about God. We have to always be on our toes and have pure love in our hearts if we are going to faithfully represent our Father in heaven. God can do anything, so my friends don’t loose any faith in the Lord.
Jesus wept. [John 11:35] John 11:35 is the shortest scripture in the bible but it does carry a lot of meaning added to the first scriptures. When John wrote this book you can tell he really wanted to show who Jesus was and His personality it is as he painted a portrait of God but he intended for us to see the true person in the God-man we have to look at the overall process of the older times that the portrait that was introduced with the Greek flair or perception of God that was admired in those days, also people thought in the beginning that God did not have any emotions and that He really didn’t get that much involved with us as human beings, but here we see a God with feelings and emotions and you could tell that He cared, Here we see Jesus with emotions, sentiment, compassion and He had let us say a righteous anger, He had sadness and He had a bit of frustration, in other words He acted down home, like an everyday person a friend from home, although we didn’t see the overall portrait of Jesus with these effects, He would express deep emotion, which is good for us, still as we approach our Jesus as a friend but with total respect, love is basically respect with added affection, so we can open up to Him. He understands because He lived here, He grew up as a child here, playing games and running around just like any child, so personalities are basically gained between 1-6 but we also know we get our personalities mostly from our parents, but the thing is Jesus had that third parent that know one else has, the Father in heaven, so through His experiences He understands us, so there is not any reason for us to mask anything from Him and most of all we just need to be up front or honest while we talk to Him. We know for a fact that Jesus cares. saw and felt everyone crying and upset, He too started to cry you see this shows us how He in one sense was just another human, He is still Jesus, He is our Loving Savior and the Son of God, we are trying to explain our God who was born a sinless man so all of us young or old and big or small or anyone to know that Jesus has kindness and He has sensitivity He just went along with everyone else totally natural and He was sympathizing with their grief and sadness and even identifying with there feelings or maybe it bothered Him that He picked up a few feelings or felt the others vibrations and He was concerned also at their unbelief, in any case Jesus cried with all of us and He is a lot like us, one caring for one another, Jesus cares for each one of us, what a great God we serve, plus to talk to and pray to. How do we express the feelings of Jesus Christ, a man that is also God, who came to live with us, to teach us, to heal us, to understand us, to be close to us, to cry with us, and then even died for us. Jesus expressed deep emotions and we must never be afraid to talk about anything to Him, He wants to hear our hearts He wants to hear what is burning inside or may it be a joy we wish to share with Him. Remember He understands our feelings because He too lived and experienced them. We should always be open and never try to hide anything from Him, He knows us all anyway, He is the closest friend we will ever have, from now till forever. Jesus is a friend who will always love us. He is here with me and he is there with you right now, this is sharing the good news. {"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."} [Jer. 1:5] This is a great scripture when you feel unworthy or you feel your life is meaning-less, God made each and everyone of us, and He made us for a purpose, and many of us no what that purpose is and many of us don’t, but the thing is when ever you feel lousy think of what God thought of you, special and for a purpose, like this scripture it has helped many people because if God was doing a plan for your life, before you took your first breath of the planets air, yet God had plans for you. So just like He planned for Jeremiah a long time ago before any of us were born or conceived he had plans already for you. So don’t ever feel depressed or discouraged or dejected or even down in the dumps or like you are worthless or insufficient, you are very important to God with a plan and a opportunity and maybe an adventure or just plain valuable with a purpose in mind for each and everyone of us. We know that Jeremiah was appointed by God as a prophet for everyone. Like I sad before each Christian has a specific moment all planed out by God, and as we all know like the clay pot some are used for everyday use and some are used for special use, remember we are all special whether we know it or not, God through the years has made mighty choices which were people like Samson, David, John the Baptist, the Apostle Paul and maybe you in the future. We don’t know; know one knows the thoughts of God, except the Spirit of God. We were all called to do specific jobs or many detailed obligations we don’t know but when we start doing what God wanted us to do for Him and for His Glory we will know and we will feel the essence of God all around us. So what ever God gives us to do we are to do it with pleasure with our determination and be happy about it because they were chosen for each one of us, we are to accept all tasks with diligence, conscientiousness, attentiveness, thoroughness, and carefulness and we should accept it cheerfully and I know we all do and everything we do we do it for the Glory of God. My prayers are with you, God Bless, Rev. Paul
We put up five prayer letters as mini-sermons and I hope you learned something from them and what the church is trying to do, and sending these letters or the whole sermon into the areas that do need Jesus, it is all up to our friends in all of the other countries that have to do a small bit of leg work remember they are close by neighbors, some I would say are not very far and some of the pastors and ministers have their own places they meet, and then these letters will go farther into the 10/40 window area like handing off the baton, so what ever group or assembly meets they too have friends deeper into the territory this way more and more people can learn the word and the Love of Jesus and the Father and with the help of the Holy Spirit they all have safe journeys and enough paper to go around, that is another thing we need to pray for. I wish to thank everyone and all the people and the saints that are helping with this great commission, because if I wasn't so sick, I would love to be out there, God bless all of you.
Dear Lord, another week has gone by but we need Your help and protection and we just want to continue to love You and worship You and just talk to You, I am sorry for not being strong enough, I am falling apart just on this closing prayer, the tears are just running down my face, and I just want to say God bless you all. In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen
Now in India it is 12.30 midnight. We've started our night vigil at 6 pm last evening. It will be concluded on 6 am in the morning only.
I'm sending this mail in between the night vigil. Around 350 believers are participating this night prayer. All the children of our orphanage attending and praying for you. They had their food yesterday noon only. Evening they did have nothing. There was little food at the orphanage, but it was not enough for everybody. So the children over 10 years said to the Superintendent of the Orphange to give the food for the children below 10 years of age. And they decided attend night vigil with fasting.
I knew it only when the little children were saying their tesemonies at about 11.30 during the night vigil. I was shocked. I could not control my tears. Not only myself, many participants are unable to control their tears. That's why in between the prayer service I'm mailing you this witness.
