The Church Ministries
Bible Truth Christian Church
Good morning everyone welcome to The Church Ministries or 87th Sunday service as you know the devil tried to take away the church office and for the last two months or more this whole thing started in June but in the end the Lord came with a swift hand and rescued me from the streets because I had really no where to go, I had one place that I could move to but a guy died a few days before I was going to move and the money situation with the first and last and security and some places had rent and security, plus I had to hire people to move and the cheapest was 94 dollars and hour, so I was sweating it for two months and still even at the end it even got more stressful, it really took a toll on my spirit plus the fact I can’t move anything and I was totally helpless, I had my congregation and they all wanted to help but they were scattered all over the world. And I could not even think of the time I would be off line, and the prayer ministry and the church sermons. I had some people make promises they would help me move on that specific day but I didn’t even get a phone call, and there were a few church members and It breaks my heart that if you can’t even count on people from a local church well you fall into the category of spiritual abuse. I would like to talk today on How Christianity is slowly falling apart, to the people that attend their local church every Sunday and some on Wednesday night like I have for so many years, there was one point that I was going to about 4 churches at the same time to see if I could get anything like a good feeling when I was there and when I left, there are a lot of Abusive Churches out there and I am by scripture alone just going to speak from the hip, in other words I will not follow mans tradition. Another thing I wish to express is the fact that Christianity is changing the antichrist has slowly slipping into our churches and or schools and seminaries, which you all now I hope by now, but some out there do not have a any idea what is going on in the realm of Christianity today, it is almost like having a assembly without the bible or the cross. People just have been misled and it is even getting worse. Matt. 7 was written for a purpose and many people don’t really study the points of scripture and what Jesus is trying to say. Most churches today do not give their congregations any type of instruction or explanation of the views on how to listen to the Holy spirit, and be able to compare their sprits with there gifts, there are many churches today that don’t even believe in the gifts of the spirit, which I will touch on latter in this sermon, there are some people that don’t even know what speaking in tongues is all about, a person can be speaking prophecy to the congregation and the people will just get upset and say what is that person doing, which I have seen many a time, of course I would never go back to that church, we have to learn to exercise our spiritual gifts if we don’t just like a muscle, it will just shrivel up and atrophy so we all need the gifts to better the church that is why we have them , and that is why they were given to us, as in all scripture I have carefully examined the gifts and went through the scriptures and there is more then what most people think there are, there is about 20 and it covers 4 sections in the bible and they are listed in the website on the Hilo page, (1 Cor. 12: 4-11), then (1 Cor. 12:27-30), then (Rom. 12: 4-8), and (Eph. 4:7-11), you have to hear God speak to you and if your spirit is not awake, you just will not here God at all, this is very important, you have to be alive through the Spirit the church must teach you to be alive, and describe the gifts and how they function and how they benefit the people and the church, remember the Church is Christ as the head,  if not the church you going to is asleep, you need to here these words of prophecy, knowledge the messages in tongues, and the interpretation of tongues, you need to know what type of a demon might be in a person if they are giving them pain or torment or an affliction, and you need to here them, tell what they are causing in the person in some cases the demon might even have a name and with out your spiritual gifts you might as well forget it, you will not be able to help your brother or sister in Christ. Some pastors will say well I don’t let anyone speak in tongues because we don’t have an interpreter, the thing is if you do not hear the language every Sunday how are you even going to know if someone can interpret in the first place? if you go into a church and people are giving a revelation in a proper manner in orderly manner people need to be familiar with the words spoken and after a few weeks or maybe right away a person can feel through their spirit what they are trying to say or better yet what God is trying to say to the congregation, if you don’t exercise your gifts you are just another religion, Christianity is a living breathing organism, Christianity is alive, when you walk into a church building, a spirit filled church you will feel it active because it is alive, because the people that are assembled there are alive the same way when you open your bible the words become alive and that is why when you read something over and over you pick something up new every time, or you would say I never new that was there, your Spirit which God has given you is alive to help you, that is why Jesus said I will not leave you as orphans, and I will be sending you the comforter, the thing is Jesus had to go back to heaven so he had to leave a part of Him with in each one of us, and the traditions  of man are destroying our gifts or the acknowledgement of what Jesus left us, and I would say that is wrong. Jesus left part of himself in each and everyone of us when we have become believers, it would be wrong not to use or utilize something the Son of Man gave to us to use for the church His church. People just don’t realize how they can make Jesus mad. Jesus went through a lot of pain and suffering and being whipped and pieces of His flesh were being ripped from his body and then in that condition had to carry the cross that He was going to die on, He did all of this for us so we would not ever be alone and have the Holy Sprit directing us with the gifts He and the Father created. We have to help one another, if people need healing and if it is a spirit that is causing the affliction the congregation can pick up what kind of spirit it is and sometimes the name of the spirit and crown around and pray and speak that demon or entity away. This is one of the stepping stones of reality of true Christianity. Don’t you want to here the voice of God? Don’t you want to know what is hurting your best friend and be so close to be able to heal that person, but the church you go to just doesn’t believe in the gifts. Sometimes it just makes me want to cry, how can people be so blinded? We have to realize bad teaching or doctrine produces bad fruit. I just don’t know how to say that the traditions of man has changed so much and the evil one now is slipping in through the back door of the church in a combination to cause a wrong attitude toward God and Christ and eventually you have twisted and warped thought patterns for our whole realm of Christianity.
Times have sure changed, mans tradition has changed, where did this time format come from, for the length of a church service? The point is if we are not working or exercising our spiritual gifts or should I say supernatural gifts this can cripple the effectiveness on the whole body of Christ throughout the world. The thing is you must be teaching or preaching with the flow of the Spirit and if it isn’t present, there is something wrong, If you get hand outs were you fill in the lines during the sermon that means everything the preacher says has already been rehearsed and the whole sermon is being done in the flesh  and not through the Spirit of God. Plus the fact most services are around an hour and that is much evident throughout the country, where did this time line to worship God for an hour come from, plus the fact that it leave no room for healings and for new people to get there salvation or even feel the anointing, I have been in churches where the anointing was so strong that I could not even stand up. You need time for the Spirit to work and communicate through the service. And there is another thing we also have false anointings so which is still displeasing to God the same as no anointing, the thing is the pastor or the Shepard should be so full of the Holy Spirit he could detect anything passing through the walls of the church, what I am trying to say is you may go into a church which I have and feel a strong anointing but the anointing is copied from satan himself. These is so much to discuss about the church and what is truly happening today with all churches, when it comes right down to it the sermon must contain and be directed through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. And one more thing I might add I have attended a church , a false church and it did have a very strong anointing where people were falling over one another but  that church turned out to be the worst one, I almost needed an exit counselor to talk to when I left that place and I remember that day well my tires were spinning and I was driving like a maniac to get as far away from that place. There were other strange things I have seen, at times I had to say full page prayers before I knew what kind of church it was, because every time I came home I was different to my friends, my whole personality changed and they all told me each time. In other words my friends had to pray on me to get what ever I brought home with me, I thank God I had friends that were spirit filled believers otherwise I still could be carrying something from that one church. There were times I could see the room or the sanctuary with ripples in the light and my guess was actually demonic spirits flying around the whole area, it wasn’t just the sight it was feelings of cold like someone opening a door in the middle of winter, and it felt like something cold just passing by like a draft but it would only happen a few times, so I not only felt them I saw them. The pastor was talking and I could see his face being manipulated and go through a complete distortion right in front of me, it was as if it was a demon showing the true ugliness right before me I could not even look at him any more it was one of those situations that I could not get up and leave I wanted to but I just put my head down and stayed like that till it was over. Then I had another instance talk about the serpent, there was a glass door leading outside to the back of the church and on this piece of cement where the door opened and closed there was a black snake there up and  just staring at me fully erect and there was nothing I could do to even scare him away, I slammed on the door and he saw me and he just was slithering his tongue at me and I put my whole body against the door with my palms repeatedly slamming this glass door I kicked the door no matter what I did he just stood straight up and having his tongue slithering back and forth , he wouldn’t even flinch, I ended up just walking away , why waste my time. It probably was Satan Himself I will never forget that day.

Dear Heavenly Father, Where do I begin, How can I tell you how much we love you, an how much we want to thank you, for being our God, and for loving us before we were even born. We want to worship you and praise your name. We love you Jesus, we thank you, all of us, please stay with us, please comfort us all. Please send your Holy Spirit to every household, office, or apartment, or where anyone else can hear or read this service, please send us your warmth and tears of joy and compassion to all of us, please Father heal us all, of any and all afflictions, and please continue to here our prayers, even after our service is over, please bond to us, please anoint us, please purify us all, so we can enter into your heavenly Kingdom. In the mighty Name of Jesus, Amen

And now, dear brothers and sisters, I will write about the special abilities the Holy Spirit gives to each of us, for I must correct your misunderstandings about them. You know that when you were still pagans you were led astray and swept along in worshiping speechless idols. So I want you to know how to discern what is truly from God: No one speaking by the Spirit of God can curse Jesus, and no one is able to say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.
Now there are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but it is the same Holy Spirit who is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service in the church, but it is the same Lord we are serving. There are different ways God works in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work through all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us as a means of helping the entire church.
To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another he gives the gift of special knowledge. The Spirit gives special faith to another, and to someone else he gives the power to heal the sick. He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and to another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to know whether it is really the Spirit of God or another spirit that is speaking. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, and another is given the ability to interpret what is being said. It is the one and only Holy Spirit who distributes these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up only one body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into Christ's body by one Spirit, and we have all received the same Spirit.
Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part. If the foot says, "I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand," that does not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear says, "I am not part of the body because I am only an ear and not an eye," would that make it any less a part of the body? Suppose the whole body were an eye--then how would you hear? Or if your whole body were just one big ear, how could you smell anything?
But God made our bodies with many parts, and he has put each part just where he wants it. What a strange thing a body would be if it had only one part! Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. 21The eye can never say to the hand, "I don't need you." The head can't say to the feet, "I don't need you."
In fact, some of the parts that seem weakest and least important are really the most necessary. And the parts we regard as less honorable are those we clothe with the greatest care. So we carefully protect from the eyes of others those parts that should not be seen, while other parts do not require this special care. So God has put the body together in such a way that extra honor and care are given to those parts that have less dignity. This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other equally. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.
Now all of you together are Christ's body, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it. Here is a list of some of the members that God has placed in the body of Christ:

   first are apostles,

   second are prophets,

   third are teachers,

   then those who do miracles,

those who have the gift of healing,

   those who can help others,

those who can get others to work together,

those who speak in unknown languages.

Is everyone an apostle? Of course not. Is everyone a prophet? No. Are all teachers? Does everyone have the power to do miracles? 3Does everyone have the gift of healing? Of course not. Does God give all of us the ability to speak in unknown languages? Can everyone interpret unknown languages? No! And in any event, you should desire the most helpful gifts. 1Cor.12:1-31

As we talk about just one gift the gift of tongues and many of the Corinthians we having disputes over the gift and in the church people were talking any way and any time to prove that they had the gift, it was getting out of hand to where Paul had to put a limitation on the gift to have it done in an orderly fashion, but there is so many other gifts and so many other ways to help the church, the whole thing is when you get baptized in the holy spirit that is the first gift that comes to life, sometimes people when they get water baptized they start speaking in tongues and the same way when you get baptized in the holy spirit, yes there are two different baptisms, *  yes there are all kinds of gifts and the gifts are all given out by God and the Holy Spirit each gift is nothing more than just a gift, but the thing is each person with the gift helps the church in all different ways, there are different kinds of service to the church. And there are different plans that God has given each person a particular gift for maybe a future job or something to edify the church, each gift is for the building up of the church and they are very important, and there are people out there that don’t even believe in the gifts, even though they are written in the bible, people take that scripture
For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 1Cor. 13:9-10 NIV
and they twist it all around the truth is God gives us the spiritual gifts for now here on earth, and they are to build up and strengthen the church, while we are in eternity we will not need the gifts anymore because everything will be perfect and we will be in total peace and in the presence of God.  People twist this scripture meaning when the Apostles were around they had to set a format and that they needed these gifts then and when the scripture reads when perfection comes meaning Pentecost they received the gifts meaning after the last apostle dies meaning the gifts disappear with the apostles. They even try to make verse 11 in Chapter 12 thinking that the gifts are childish things, do you see how satan has just conditioned peoples minds, there was a pastor that I knew and he would not believe in any of the gifts, the day I got baptized my friends around me said don’t be surprised if you start speaking in tongues right when you come up from the water, but that was in California. Yes the states do make a difference and the geography of the US does make a difference in the view points of Christianity. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is an intense experience, just like our initial conversion and what happened that day. We all have our own testimonies and we all have our stories that lead us to Christ in the first place, some people think we get baptized with the Holy spirit on the same day of our conversion, it does happen to some but we do have to ask for it, I didn’t get baptized in the Holy Spirit till I would say a few years later, where I knew I was sitting on a stage at a healing rally in Oakland California, and I felt reborn, I mean I felt like a new person, I had no worries or fear or any bad memories I felt like a new reborn person, I don’t know if that happens to everyone that way but for me it was a day to remember. When we get saved the Holy Spirit comes in but it isn’t the same. I mean you will know when you are filled with the Spirit, and in other ways people have been gradually filled with the spirit and that can happen to till one day it just over flows and then you know it. Some say you just have to ask for it.
If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him." Luke 11:13 NIV
"I baptize with water those who turn from their sins and turn to God. But someone is coming soon who is far greater than I am--so much greater that I am not even worthy to be his slave. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire Matt.3:11 NIV
Then John said, "I saw the Holy Spirit descending like a dove from heaven and resting upon him. I didn't know he was the one, but when God sent me to baptize with water, he told me, `When you see the Holy Spirit descending and resting upon someone, he is the one you are looking for. He is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.' I saw this happen to Jesus, so I testify that he is the Son of God John 1:32-34 NIV
While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul traveled through the interior provinces. Finally, he came to Ephesus, where he found several believers. "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" he asked them. "No," they replied, "we don't know what you mean. We haven't even heard that there is a Holy Spirit." "Then what baptism did you experience?" he asked. And they replied, "The baptism of John." Paul said, "John's baptism was to demonstrate a desire to turn from sin and turn to God. John himself told the people to believe in Jesus, the one John said would come later." As soon as they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied. There were about twelve men in all. Acts 19:1-7 NIV
But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere--in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8 NIV
When the apostles back in Jerusalem heard that the people of Samaria had accepted God's message, they sent Peter and John there. As soon as they arrived, they prayed for these new Christians to receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them, for they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit. Acts. 8:8-17 NIV
He told us how an angel had appeared to him in his home and had told him, `Send messengers to Joppa to find Simon Peter. He will tell you how you and all your household will be saved!' "Well, I began telling them the Good News, but just as I was getting started, the Holy Spirit fell on them, just as he fell on us at the beginning. Then I thought of the Lord's words when he said, `John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' And since God gave these Gentiles the same gift he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to argue?" Acts 11:13-17 NIV
Peter replied, "Each of you must turn from your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you and to your children, and even to the Gentiles all who have been called by the Lord our God." Acts 2:38-39 NIV
Each person or believer has at least one gift and the gift is to be used to benefit the church, there were arguments over the gifts, the people of Corinth thought everyone had to speak in tongues but we know that isn’t so, there are many gifts which I have mentioned before and just because a man does not speak in tongues does not mean he is not a believer or been baptized but that what was going around back then, but Paul had to straighten everything out and explain to everyone that each person has one or many gifts some may be of more importance then others and some may have different positions in the church to utilize the gift or gifts.
All believers have been given wisdom from the Spirit and wisdom or knowledge is all for benefit of the church, but the Sprit will give an extraordinary knowledge. It could mean spiritual realities or a special knowledge given to teachers or having to train someone in a special advancement. We don’t know what lies ahead for each one of us,
We who have the Spirit understand these things, but others can't understand us at all. How could they? For, "Who can know what the Lord is thinking? Who can give him counsel? "But we can understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.1Cor. 2:15-16 NIV

For people can't come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them from the dead.John 6:44 NIV

We all know Christians have faith just think about the faith that draws them to be saved, but the thing is in (John 6:44) the Father picks and draws each person ,  God plays the active role in this entire situation, many are out there witnessing but if the Father does not urge  them to be saved we are just taking up a tree, the thing is the timing and maybe a seed will be planted and years later the Father will say it is time for john doe to become a believer. You see it is the urging, that  the Father is in charge of so then it is up to each individual to believe in Christ or to not believe, remember God has given us free will. The fact remains that no one can believe in Jesus without God’s help. As we are on the subject of faith, some people get the supernatural gift of faith and it is an remarkable measure of faith and strength to trust in God’s unbelievable power. The gift of faith can give you the strength to go through martyrdom and face incredible amounts of torture and persecution, thank God I have that gift of faith if I didn’t I don’t know where I would be, with everything I have went through and the affliction that I am still fighting I don’t know most people would have possibly just have given up, stop the church or the prayer ministry or have mad some changes, some people would be sitting on the edge of a bar and some would have left this area and go back a live with there mother, no one understands what I go through daily and no one knows how much knowledge I still have, you see I am the target, if I went to a land as a true missionary not one of these missionaries that go to where there is already a Christian outpost set up and that is a far as they go, yes they may rough it for a while but they know they are going back to there home someday soon, and some just go and live there and stay, the thing is I have been in close relations with all my people of the congregation and they tell me what is going on with the missionaries over in there countries, and it is not what you would think, I have done a lot of reading, now I stick to the word, but I still get the updated news from the a lot of what is going on in the world and when personal friends of mine tell me what is going on over there and they are doing everything possible to help their own people and then they come across a certain amount of missionaries, their story is a bit different then what you read in a missions magazine, if fact I can’t judge anyone and I can’t complain about anyone I have to be neutral and only speak the truth. And I do hold back on a few things even though I have the facts in front of me, but who are we trying to please, God not men, and my service is to give you all an incite to what is happening in this world, and I try to follow the Holy Spirits leading and I don’t plan anything out, I started writing last weeks sermon and I have about 8 pages and I figured I would use it this week to take the load off me, but the Spirit has me doing something else even now I don’t know if I am half done or even close to what the spirit wants. But I will continue on the gifts at least in this section of 1 Corinthians 12-13. The prayer ministry is doing well as far as I can see, but only God knows and He knows the hours I spend every night writing out prayers maybe I will show what I send out to everyone. They are all learning and I wanted to return back to Matt. Chapter 7 in some way but let us see how the spirit directs me.
Next we have the gifts of healing and miracles most people would think they are much of the same, to be given the gift of healing is my most important gift it is what I have been praying for since I was a child I never wanted to be rich, I just wanted to preach and to heal people at the end and sit down with them and find out how they are and what they have been going through, I remember I was in a church and some healer person was parading around acting like some celebrity and there was a man in a wheel chair and he said to the man well I am not going to heal you today, and I almost got up and got in the guys face and say what are you some fake because that would have been the highest and hardest person to heal in the whole church, of course he just said that to make the audience think well he can heal him but he is not with it today or something, he wanted to take the pressure off himself when he started, I was never so appalled I wanted to go down and sit with that guy lay my hands on him and pray my hardest right there and then, the man in the chair was almost in tears after this man that supposedly had a gift of healing. I felt so bad for the man in the chair, I will never forget that day and that church, as you can see I have been to many a church, I moved around a lot and carried a guitar and a bible and wrote songs and played for people along the way from state to state and city to city, I would stop somewhere I liked get a job or something or I would just play some music and then meet people and they would take me to their house or farm or apartment you can see how far I went on the prayer page of the website.
I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law of Moses? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. Gal. 3:5 NIV
So next we have the gift of miracles which to me is one of the same as the gift of healings, or just being able to pray for some type of miracle besides healing like praying for something unbelievable to take place or happen, when I was on the road I have seen many miracles take place but I would be here for a while. The rest of the gifts mentioned in this passage they all focus on verbal demonstrations or expressions of the Spirit. Like prophesy for instance don’t forget you are sharing everything with the church to make the church stronger and better, now we know there are a lot of false prophets in this world but a real prophet can tell what the Lord is saying to people and to the church itself, like if you have the gift of faith you share it with the rest of the church to give others faith like yours through conversation and talking or maybe teaching, I went to a prophetic 3 day conference and I saw some unbelievable things, and I experienced some things I didn’t even know I had, it was a story like four people had to stand around the center of one person, and the one in the middle would go around and hold on to each person and say what comes to mind, and I was shocking some people there for a while till one guy all I could see was bars on the wall and old gray building and everyone thought I was crazy or trying to insult this guy, but that is what I saw old gray buildings and the bars on each window, later that day the man and his wife approached me and said that was something, I though well here it comes I messed up and I was going to get yelled at or something, this guy and his wife were missionaries and they taught at a school and they said I described the school exactly and that the school was an old type of  buildings and they all had bars on them, I was amazed at what they said. So were all the people that were in the circle, and you know I never did anymore prophecy again, maybe I should pursue it, there was another guy and another story that same day and that too was intense but not like this one, the pictures just come to life when I hold on to them, anyway Paul thought prophecy was one of the best gifts.
The course of all the elements and the past I am still trying to get over and heal, the Lord did save the partial trauma, and He deserves all the glory, but I can’t leave God’s people without prayer, even though I still suffer, I must pray for everyone almost as if the Lord has told me Himself, plus my heart opens up to all the concerns and all the burdens and troubles that people write in, it will be two years on the 17th and if it wasn’t for my affliction I would still be praying as part of the church and my duties as a pastor but not everyday and night, but I find I receive a joy that can’t be replaced with cars or homes or anything, to pray for others is probably the most important thing to me on this planet, If I was well enough I would be in the hospitals, the nursing homes, the jails and hospice centers, but being almost confined to my church office I make the best of the time I have, and I praise God I am able to still think, after all the warfare that has came across my table or should I say my life, I could write a book on spiritual warfare now, the evil one does not want anyone to pray for anyone else, because prayers give people hope, faith, strength, healing, peace and comfort. It is the Christian love that is deep within- side me which is Christ Himself, and the Holy Spirit guides my words for each and every person, and when I pray for each persons request and place them on the church alter and pray till all hours of the night that is all God, He is what has made me today and that is why I love Him and love all of His children.
“Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all." (Mark 9:35) Importance is determined by servanthood. A true leader wants to serve, as Jesus demonstrated in his life and in his death. Being a “servant” did not mean occupying a submissive position; rather it meant having an attitude of life that generously is there for other people’s needs and requests without expecting or wanting anything in return. Seeking honor, recognition, credit, respect, and the attention of others runs contrary to Jesus’ requirements for His servants. An attitude of service brings true greatness to God’s Kingdom, not our own lives.
“Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval." Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?" Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." (John 6:27-29) But for some reason, many people feel that they should be doing something for their salvation, to some it is hard for them realize that the gift of salvation is just handed to us just because we believe in Jesus this is God’s favor to except it as a gift. Even I feel I need to have a loving relationship, and be obedient to Jesus. But in these scriptures that is basically all he is telling us to do.
"No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD. (Isa. 54:17) “I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them and comfort those who mourn. Then words of praise will be on their lips. May they have peace, both near and far, for I will heal them all," says the LORD.” (Isa. 57:18-19)
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” (2Cor.4:8-9) Some times we feel we are at the limit like we just can’t take anymore, and still yet more trials and more tribulations come and we get to a point where we haven’t even healed up from the last battle or spiritual war. Our fragile bodies are subject to sin and suffering, pain, aguish, distress, agony, and torment can get to us or bring us down, sometimes we only experience a few, but there are many people out there that suffer all of the above and even more, but the thing is we know in our hearts that God will never leave us or forsake us.  Because Christ has won the victory over death, we have eternal life through Him. All our risks, humiliations, and trials are opportunities for Christ to demonstrate His power and presence in and through us. You see many times when we go through hard times we don’t know what is going on at the time, but down the road or in time these become opportunities for Christ to demonstrate His power over this earth and reveal His presence through us. It makes sense we are just being human, with human reactions, but if we all had stronger faith we would know that God will come to the rescue in His time not ours, and His time is perfect.
“The LORD is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous. (Prov 15:29)  The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.” Psalm (145:18-19) “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jer.33:3)
God assured Jeremiah that he had only to call to God and God would answer (see also Psalm 145:18; Isaiah 58:9; Matthew 7:7). God is always ready to help us and to answer our prayers and this is basically what He is telling Jeremiah or in another sense to any of us, the thing is we have to ask Him we can’t just hope and have things appear, sometimes it takes more times then others depending on the situation or changes, and more people, that is why people pray for others, when God hears many voices on the same subject or person He will understand the urgency. When we ask we are giving a respect that He is God and we can not do anything ourselves, we need His help and sometimes God wants that type of communication in a relationship. When we approach God it must be with humility and honor and respect, we must lay aside our own determination, and we cannot show worry or fear or being anxious, and still yet be established and agree to obey Him and the Word. Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God. I assure you that you can say to this mountain, `May God lift you up and throw you into the sea,' and your command will be obeyed. All that's required is that you really believe and do not doubt in your heart. Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you will have it. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too." (Mark 11:22-25) The kind of prayer that really can move a mountain is for the effectualness of God’s Kingdom and I would say someone in need that is suffering. The moving of the mountain is if you did have enough faith and the prayer was for good it would be answered, I am not sure about a mountain getting lifted up and thrown into the sea, but God can do more amazing wonders than that. It is possible Jesus was just using it as an illustration that God can do anything, which He can He made the whole world; we know He can move a mountain. The answered prayer is surrounded by your attitude and your faith plus you must believe in both Christ and the Father, and be guided by the Holy Spirit and you can not have any bad feelings against anyone, I mean complete forgiveness, of anyone in your past or present, even the future,  if you are praying for others it of course is not for selfishness normally prayer for others is a selfless act, and like I said before it should help the advancement of the kingdom, healing of a person could change everything that person could change the future with their testimony alone, plus all the people around, family, friends, seeing is believing and many will come to Christ when they see a miracle, and that too benefits the Kingdom, like the 3,000 at Pentecost,  we also know we want the will of the Father to be intertwined in all of this, in other words you need faith in God and not just in the request if you have faith that He will do it and your purity is there, I do not see why a prayer would not be answered. But then again we also have evil waging war, but faith triumphs over any evil and the belief in Christ is a sure thing to victory. And if Jesus says you will have it, I believe Him
Father I thank you so much that the words that you give me to type brings light to so many others, Father I thank you for the words that You speak goes into my mind and I can hear the light of your Son speaking our words and we as one can help so many other human beings on this planet, I had know idea of your motive for me, I did not realize that a skinny unhealthy body could still help so many people in this world, and I don’t even know where to begin to thank You. You have made the word come alive and with power and being active and alive and so energizing and to the point of being effective. I thank you that you have made me worthy to speak from these words that You have given me to launch a breakthrough of healing, peace, contentment, happiness, joy, and to bring it to so many others in this world, I thought I was going to be handing out soup and bread but you found something far better and more rewarding for Your people, my face is on the ground in praise and I will thank You for the rest of eternity for what You have done. Now thanks be to God, who causes me to triumph through Christ our Lord. Dear Lord please give me the right words for these prayer requests tonight I need your help and it is getting late and I hope the evil one didn’t waste to much  my time please Father which direction should I go? Show me the words that can open up these hearts. Help me,  Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalm 31:24) I am glad I can have complete confidence in you. (2Cor.7:16) "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." (Matt. 18:19-20) Jesus looked ahead to a new day when he would be present with his followers not in body, but through his Holy Spirit. In the body of believers (the church), the sincere agreement of two people is more powerful than the superficial agreement of thousands, because Christ’s Holy Spirit is with them. Two or more believers, filled with the Holy Spirit will pray according to God’s will, not their own; thus their requests will be granted. That is so heavy in itself, that if we both agree, even though we are thousands of miles away or right down the street we can together believe that our prayer will be answered.
"But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.” That is how I feel too, and I have even memorized this one and this is exactly what I want to do and feel. (Acts 20:24) We often feel that life is a failure unless we’re getting a lot out of it: recognition, fun, money, success. But Paul considered life worth nothing unless he used it for God’s work. Which I feel the same way, but now I have realized there are so many avenues to help people know the Lord. What he put into life was far more important than what he got out. Which is more important to you what you get out of life, or what you put into it? I enjoy helping and doing the work of the Lord . Persistence is a quality needed by anyone who wishes to do God’s work. Paul was a determined person, and the most important goal of his life was to tell others about Christ (Phil. 3:7-13). It is no wonder that Paul was the greatest missionary who ever lived. God is looking for more men and women who focus on that one great task God has given them to do. I feel at times the same way to preach the Christ and share His love and His resurrection and His saving grace; I mean what could be more important.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”(Acts 2:42-47) I have been looking for a group of people just like that in those same values and honor and loyalty and dedication, and I have been all over this country, maybe I need a time machine, the world has changed, everyone knows it a sincere heart with love and devotion to God and Jesus is a hard thing to find especially in big numbers, the Lord will show me the way. About 3,000 people became new believers when Peter preached the Good News about Christ. These new Christians were united with the other believers, taught by the apostles, and included in the prayer meetings and fellowship. New believers in Christ need to be in groups where they can learn God’s Word, pray, and mature in the faith. If you have just begun a relationship with Christ, seek out other believers for fellowship, prayer, and teaching. This is the way to grow. “Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong. Not that people will see that we have stood the test but that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed. For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is for your perfection.” (2Cor.13:7-9) Just as parents want their children to grow into mature adults, so Paul wanted the Corinthians to grow into mature believers. As we share the gospel, our goal should be not merely to see others profess faith or begin attending church, but to see them become mature in their faith. Don’t set your sights too low.  “I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.”(Eph. 1:18-23) The hope we have is not a vague feeling that the future will be positive, but it is complete assurance of certain victory through God. This complete certainty comes to us through the Holy Spirit who is working in us. The world fears the power of the atom, yet we belong to the God of the universe who not only created that atomic power but also raised Jesus Christ from the dead. God’s incomparably great power is available to help you. There is nothing too difficult for him. Having been raised from the dead, Christ is now the head of the church, the ultimate authority over the world. Jesus is the Messiah, God’s Anointed One, the One Israel longed for, the One who would set their broken world right. As Christians we can be confident that God has won the final victory and is in control of everything. We need not fear any dictator or nation, or even death or Satan himself. The contract has been signed and sealed; we are waiting just a short while for delivery. Paul says, in Romans (8:37-39), that nothing can separate us from God and his love. Only God’s power can change weak human beings into strong believers who are willing to sacrifice everything for the God who loves them. Christ has no equal and no rival. He is supreme over all other beings. These words ought to encourage believers, because the higher the honor of Christ, the Head, the higher the honor of his people. We have to notice how the early church believers prayed. First they praised God; then they told God their specific problem and asked for his help. They did not ask God to remove the problem, but to help them deal with it. This is a model for us to follow when we pray. We may ask God to remove our problems, and he may choose to do so. But we must recognize that often he will leave the problem in place and give us the strength and courage to deal with it. You see you my friend the early church had it together I ask God that somehow we could be like the early church, I have done enough reading to follow the apostolic church.
“My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words.  Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body.”(Prov. 4:20-22).
Our heart our feelings of love and desire dictates to a great extent how we live because some of us find time to do what we enjoy. Solomon tells us to guard our heart above all else, making sure we concentrate on those desires that will keep us on the right path. Make sure your affections push you in the right direction. Put boundaries on your desires: don’t go after everything you see. Look straight ahead, keep your eyes fixed on your goal, and don’t get sidetracked on detours that lead to sin.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” (Prov. 3:5-8)
Leaning has the sense of putting your whole weight on something, resting on and trusting in that person or thing. When we have an important decision to make, we sometimes feel that we can’t trust anyone in this day and age, that is just the way it is, people tend today to not even trust in God and that is a horrible thought, that is all we can trust, God is right there with us , even when we don’t see him or feel Him He is there right beside us, that is one of the things I have learned which I hope before I am gone I can in some way show to all of mankind that God is so real and He will never ever leave us and He is always with us. God knows what is best for us, so it might seam that He is not there or giving us the wrong type of discipline , but we have no right to even question or even judge God’s motives. He is a better judge of what we want, than even we think we want. God knows us more than we know ourselves.  We must trust him completely in every choice we make. We should not neglect careful thinking or put down our God-given ability to reason; but we should not trust our own ideas to the removal of all others. We must not be wise in our own eyes. We should always be willing to listen to and be corrected by God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. Bring your decisions to God in prayer; use the Bible as your guide; and then follow God’s leading. He will make your paths straight by both guiding and protecting you always, I have learned many lessons, and when I was a boy I did a lot of hitch-hiking and if I didn’t depend on the Lord at those times, my whole life could be different or I would not even be here to pray with you.
“The righteous cry, and the LORD hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But the LORD delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:17-18)
We often wish we could escape troubles the pain of heartache, loss, unhappiness, and failure; or even the small daily frustrations that constantly wear us down, to me the daily frustrations become many anytime the enemy has a chance to drill another hole he does, and you know it hurts everyday, and being a man of logic and truth with perceptible reasoning, you begin to just let it  roll over and don’t let it bother you, that was a big lesson I had to learn, some day when everything works out and I crack a smile or even laugh when I am by myself, I will know that the war is over, but the thing is if you work for God those daily frustrations don’t ever go away, and I am not going to stop working for God to stop the attacks, like I have said before 15,000 pastors a month give up there jobs, and that right there the numbers of that statistic is unbelievably high, but we have to look at what some of these people are facing, I could never give up on my work for the Lord, we are going to be rejoicing either here is this world or the one to come, at times I do get disappointed, and my feelings get hurt and at times I break down and cry, but that goes with the job. God promises to be “close to the brokenhearted,” to be our source of power, bravery, courage, understanding, and wisdom, helping us through our problems, and He does, there are so many things that go on that we do never even find out about, and some people just take those things for granted, I don’t try to, but I am human too, and I do have faults,  but I do know the Lord is there, and Jesus is pleading our case at the same time the devil is saying horrible things against and about us, to God. Sometimes God chooses to deliver us from those problems, but His timing is always perfect, that is why there are a few scriptures that say “wait upon the Lord.” When trouble strikes, we can never get frustrated at God. Instead, we have to admit to the fact that we all need God’s help and we should be thanking Him, prayer with devotion and giving Him praise for being at our sides. What a God we serve, I have written back to so many prayer requests at times I wish I could just reach out to the people going through their troubles or hardships or pain or disease, and I myself am being one of the victims to spiritual warfare and the steady attacks from the enemy, satan doesn’t want me to pray for anyone, he knows and he has tried to take away the whole prayer ministry and the Church, but God Himself after a great test of faith after 2 months of compounded intimidation by the darkness of evil to take away the office and the house and the illusion that devil implanted into my mind was the church closing and the prayer ministry folding and me out on the streets pushing a shopping cart at the age of 51 and skinny and with know strength, suffering with my unknown affliction that I have been fighting for about 21 months, and I would have starved, not because I could not obtain any food but I had to be around a blender to drink all my nutrition because the pain is so over whelming that I can not chew. I would be in a big predicament. So God said no more!!  He changed the minds of the people selling the establishment. So now I am banging the keys and bringing hope and the love of the Lord with faith throughout the world into your home through the computer. Praise God for the advancements of the technology and I can pray to anyone in the world and give them comfort, and at all times, I can be a friend or  I can be a shoulder to cry on. What I want to share is we have so much to learn in this mortal life, the many trials we have to endure and many joys that could just be around the corner. We are all glad that each of us grows toward the grace and mind of Christ. We are all going at different speeds and this truly humbles us all, when things get over and what ever we are faced with the stress and the guilt of not trusting and not having strong enough faith does bring us to a humble point. We are all happy that we can give God the glory when we all get healed or the burdens stop, or the troubles end, or a marriage comes back together, or if someone gets a new job, the rewards are endless like the church office was saved and it seems each of our hearts have gained more light and more truth to battle our next attack or turmoil or what ever it may be, we can trust in the Lord to heal and end any burden or pain or turmoil. I wish I could just be there with you * and read some of the promises of the Lord. We know in the end times and they are so close the bible says:
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. (2Tim.3:1-4)
Paul’s reference to the “last days” reveals his sense of urgency. The last days began after Jesus’ resurrection when the Holy Spirit came upon the believers at Pentecost. The “last days” will continue until Christ’s second coming. This means that we are living in the last days. So we should make the most of the time that God has given us, which I would say most of us do. I know I try to be a workman for the Lord, but my mother who is not a Christian would say you’re not making any money; she just doesn’t realize that working for God brings more assets then mere money. God Has always provided, when you live on faith and do the work of and evangelist pastor, prayer warrior it goes far beyond the reality of a man making 100K, but unsaved people just don’t understand, someday I will get to her and share the love of Christ, but she only listens to people that have more money then she does, that is how she judges people by what is in there wallet not what is in their heart. There are probably many more people that judge the same exact way. In many parts of the world today it is not especially difficult to be a Christian, but in other parts of the world people are getting beaten to death for just sharing Christ in the streets of China, if anyone saw the video, voice of Martyrs, but in most places people aren’t jailed for reading the Bible or executed for preaching Christ. But Paul’s descriptive list of behavior in the last days describes our society even, unfortunately, the behavior of many Christians. Check your life against Paul’s list. We can not give in to society’s pressures. Don’t settle for comfort without commitment. Stand up against evil by living as God would have his people live. And that is exactly what I do except hurting my own mother, she just would not listen or understand. She is blinded by the enemy like so many others even some Christians that say they are Christians. (2Cor. 4:4)
“And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1Thes. 5:14-23)
Don’t hang out or around with the inactive; warn them. Don’t yell at the timid and weak; encourage and edify them and give them a bit of comfort.  There are times it’s difficult to distinguish between the inactive and shy ones. Two people may be doing nothing one out of shear laziness and the other out of shyness or fear, of even going out in the world, or just afraid of doing something wrong and getting yelled at or just a dirty look hurts, that to me hurts more than someone just coming up to me and saying something nasty, but a dirty look it like strikes your heart like a knife and then you go throughout the day and say what did I do to that person, like I said before I deal in facts not fantasy, I have been around to many people to know what type of look a person is giving me, and you can’t say anything in return like what was that for, or what did I do, and most of time they would just deny it, or say what look. I am to familiar with the games people play, I have been around, and I just didn’t walk in from the cotton fields.  The whole key to ministry and churches and feeding the poor, food banks, bake sales, prayer teams, and playing music for the praise and worship teams is “[sensitivity]”: sensing the condition of each person and offering the appropriate remedy for each situation. You can’t effectively help until you know the problem. You can’t apply the medicine until you know where the wound is. I wish everyone could understand, that one word “sensitivity.” Our joy, prayers, and thankfulness should not vary with our circumstances or feelings. Obeying these three commands be “joyful, pray continually, and give thanks” often goes against our natural learning. Some people just don’t do all three things all the time, it seems like it is not natural for some. When we make a conscious decision to do what God says, however, we will begin to see people in a new perspective. The thing is when we are doing the will of God and feeling good about it, we will find it easier to be joyful and thankful. We can’t spend 24 hours on our knees but we are always in acknowledgment with God we have a constant communication with small prayers and we are constantly seeking to have contact with God, letting God know we need Him and to obedient to His wishes plus realizing His presence, but we have our regular prayer times, and our prayer closet times, and with me I set aside every evening for prayer responses and I spend time writing out particular prayers and then I send what is appropriate to each person so in a way I can take care of any need or request, it does take time but the Holy Spirit writes the prayers and I just type them. The most important part of prayer is the thankfulness, we can’t thank God for everything that happens to us, but the thing is the major part is thanking Him “in” everything that happens to us. We also thank God even when the attacks come and we are constantly asking God for peace and we thank God when we do receive peace. We should always be as the people of Berea to be noble-minded and test everything with the word of God. (Acts 17:11) We should almost live on the word of God.  (Matt. 4:4) “Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
We can not ridicule anyone especially if they are speaking the truth, we accept what people say on the outside but on the inside of our hearts we accept what is true and we reject what is false. We are not the type of people to stand there and argue with a person we either take them to the side and show them in scripture and explain to them your viewpoint and most of the time you come to a common ground. And you also know we can’t avoid every type of evil because this whole world is getting eviler by the day, we live in a sinful world, and it will be worse tomorrow, we just make sure that we don’t let evil get any type of strong hold around us or within even the conversation. We are Christians and we have to analyze many things and we have to be pleasant and accept what people say like I said on the outside. We don’t fall into temptations and we don’t do things to make God angry. Remember we are heaven bound and we are totally honoring our Lord.  And we follow the Holy Spirit through faith with the gifts that we have. Christ is in our heart and He is at the controls. We can’t separate our spiritual lives with our flesh. And we just don’t worship and praise one day a week, being a Christian is a 24 hour a day way of life, with the spirit soul and body as the entire being of each person at one with the Father and the Son.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank-you for another day of life, in which we can see the water and the stars, and the beauty around us, I know that complete trust in You is the main piece of writing, to have that purity of faith in You no matter what we go through, to have that bond of righteousness, of togetherness, love, peace, and that connection of communication. We all thank-you and we all Praise your name for your glory, and dominion. We Praise the name of Jesus Christ, who is all, and in all. We praise the Holy Spirit for just helping and guiding us with these words. Father I pray for all the people who are suffering right now, I pray that some light will shine upon them in true peace harmony and tranquility. I pray that we all continue to grow more like Jesus, and to loose the elements of sin. I pray for purity, safety and joy for us all. In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen.
