Sunday Service April 17th, 2005
The Church Ministries
Bible Truth Christian Church
Good morning everyone, Welcome to The Church Ministries 71st Sunday service. This church does follow the great commission, and the most two important commandments, we travel into all areas of the world by way of the internet. I had everything written and all things picked out and the Lord just came down and told me what to say, so now I have 13 pages of notes that I might use next week but the thing is, the attacks are getting so heavy and so close together, I feel it is about the time that I express to everyone that , it came so close last night that the church office and the home attached almost exploded, so I feel these attacks are getting a bit out of hand, and I was going to continue on my sermon of spiritual warfare but what do you call it when it goes beyond it, what would be another phrase or sentence or word. The war against Pastor Paul and everyone around him, or do we call it “Job 2”, or just the attack on “The Church Ministries”, or just “The War.”
Dear Heavenly Father, I am so broken hearted I don’t know what to do, I need to pray an opening prayer for every one and I have had so much pain happen to me this week that I can not even think, I will ask the Holy Spirit to help me. Dear Lord, please help this congregation, please help this church, please help me to be well enough to preach another sermon, please uplift everyone’s spirits, please have the Holy Spirit sanctify us and anoint us all today for this gathering, no matter where and at what time whoever listens to these words or reads them, please Father feel affection for them and bless them all, it could be in any country at anytime, please Lord I want this to be a real service, with praise and worship to You with thankfulness, and to make You smile upon us all, to have You feel as a part of this church, and all the people, we need You Lord we are fighting all this nonsense from the world we just need to push it all out of our minds and worship and praise Your name, You are our God and we love You, and each one of us is trying to be spiritual so we can better connect to You and Your Heart, we want us all to be united in truth and we don’t want to hurt others or lie or cheat or have any evil thoughts, I know I have sinned this week and I know most of us all have, so if you can, please forgive us, we don’t mean to criticize or to say anything bad to anyone, or about anyone we don’t even want to think bad thoughts about the people that have hurt us, and Lord I have been hurt, and I know there are many suffering right now a lot worse then I. You have blessed me with more than I have been hurt, and sometimes we all focus on the pain instead of all the good works You have done for us. We don’t want to be like the Israelites, murmuring and just not thanking You enough, we want to be set apart for the goodness of man, and we want to help the entire human race, and this prayer is heard in many countries around the world, and is said or heard at all different times and places, but we love You and we want this to be as close as we can to the true worship like the 120 on the day of Pentecost, where everyone was gathered as a whole and each soul were in small groups in worship and in prayer communicating to You each in everyone’s own way, and there were a few that would stand up and say a prayer or a blessing for everyone towards You Father, and of course everyone would be talking to Jesus and thanking Him for what He did for all of us, we wanted this church to be biblical and to be the closest thing to real as possible, so when our Jesus comes back looking for His bride He will find a few that are in truth in hope and faith and love for Him, escaping the world and it’s lusts and trying to spread the word of life, the bread, the way, the light, which is Jesus Christ our Lord, and we are all spread this grace out all over the world but when we come together today we want it to be special, and for this day special, to You, please bless us and forgive us of all the pains and hurts that we have experienced. We do forgive them Lord, and we don’t want to carry any vengeance within our hearts, we want to be renewed and strengthened by what we here and say and listen to today.  Please fight the evil that may come anywhere near this church - the people that make it. I am getting attacked even now, can I please have just a minute of peace without all these strongholds just pulling and tearing my heart apart. God help us, God help me, and how can I pastor this flock when I am so weak. Help me to be strong, help me to fight all this compounded evil that lurks in every crack and every doorway, God forgive me, maybe I should just end this church and the sermons, and just go do something else and forget about this whole thing, but all I am going to do is read more of the bible, or pray for someone else, it is in my blood. I had a dream to have a church that would be holy and to have a congregation that just loved one another like Jesus loved us, that is what I pray for today, we need Your love running through our veins and we need all the armor to be able to stand firm against all the evil of this planet and there is so much we have to fight everyday, my feelings and thoughts are turning and rotating to maybe I should just be with Christ now, but am I worthy?  After all the tears I have shed and all the attacks I have been fighting just to keep this church alive, what do I do give up, no, that is what the devil wants. I wanted this church and all of the people to be blessed and happy and educated about the love of Christ and about the plots of evil that are trying to destroy us, God help me. I want to continue to preach for this church and I know now it is only on the internet, but look at how many people we can reach, look at how many we can almost touch just with our words of truth, I have been hurt and I have been tormented and I am still in the dark about my condition and I believe we have pinpointed it, and I, and we, need Your love and power to go on, many people in this world are facing death and getting tortured for having just a bible, and trying just to meet and worship. I am just one man, and I don’t want to be a weeping preacher, I want to spread Your Love, as far as I can in strength and in truth,  in spirit and in hope, please Father can you help us? Please Father, hear our prayer, In Jesus name, Amen and Amen.
“Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” Isa. (65:24) Ask, Seek, Knock “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matt. 7:7-8) The world of grace and contentment is for everyone, not just for a selected few, or the rich, we are the children of God and the Lord wants to give us all the blessings that we desire. Prayer is the ultimate communication to the most powerful and loving being in the universe and He just happens to be our Father, what a gift, what a blessing to have an open door to the throne of grace to the Lord thy God. Do you believe how fortunate we are, how many people truly realize that we have access to the ultimate dreams and desires of our heart. It is so amazing that if we have faith belief and trust, anything we ask for can become a reality. Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” (Matt.21:21-22) Now we know that our Jesus can not lie, what He says is always the truth. If we have enough faith we can move mountains, the thing is we don’t ask to have the mountain move, we ask for His great faith, we as humans can not have that purity of perfect faith, the thing is Jesus and the Father do. So what we ask in prayer for, is the Fathers faith and the protection coming from Jesus to keep our faith strong, because in this world we know we will have tribulation, which comes from the world and the evil forces to cause doubt. So through prayer we are granted supernatural faith, guided by the Holy Spirit then pure belief will also follow. Now that we receive protection from any doubt that may linger in our flesh through prayer to our Lord Jesus, remember Jesus has overcome the world, then once we have God’s faith and complete protection from the doubt of the world, now with the guidance and the purity of belief through the power of the Holy Spirit, then being transformed into the likeness and mind of Christ, when we accept the Lord as our personal savior, and establish a relationship, we then can pray and move any mountain.  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.” (John 14:6-7) At this time my brothers and sisters we have explained the love of God and answer to prayer, there is nothing that we can not do as long as we stay in tune with perfect harmony, plus we have a few more stipulations to this truth. “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” (Mark 11:24-25) Now forgiveness comes from our hearts, remember we have to remain pure, we can not carry any remorse or un-forgiveness about anyone, one more thing: “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1John 1:8-9) “Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God” (1John 3:21) And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. (John 14:13-14) “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.” (Mark 9:23)  So my prayers are with you, I thank the Holy Spirit for these words, if I have not been suffering so greatly, I would have never learned these truths. “So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.” (John 16:22-23)
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matt. 28:18-20 NIV
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." Mark 16:15-18 NASB
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2Cor. 5:17 NASB
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Eph.2:10 NASB
And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, "May we know what this new teaching is which you are proclaiming? "For you are bringing some strange things to our ears; so we want to know what these things mean." (Now all the Athenians and the strangers visiting there used to spend their time in nothing other than telling or hearing something new.) Acts 17:19-21
"For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind. Isa. 65:17 NASB
Now at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought out the Levites from all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem so that they might celebrate the dedication with gladness, with hymns of thanksgiving and with songs to the accompaniment of cymbals, harps and lyres. Neh.12:27 NASB
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35 NIV
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Rom 12: 9-12 NIV
You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. Gal. 5:13-15 NIV
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit–just as you were called to one hope when you were called– one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Eph. 4:2-6 NIV
We have a great high priest who is in charge of God's house. So let's come near God with pure hearts and a confidence that comes from having faith. Let's keep our hearts pure, our consciences free from evil, and our bodies washed with clean water. We must hold tightly to the hope that we say is ours. After all, we can trust the one who made the agreement with us. We should keep on encouraging each other to be thoughtful and to do helpful things. Some people have gotten out of the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord's coming is getting closer. Heb 10:21-23 CEV
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Eph. 6:10-18 KJV
I have listed the most important scriptures for now that this church stands on, because I do not know what is going to happen next week or just in the next hour. We are to follow the great commission and make disciples and travel into all areas of the world in which we are doing, and teaching which is important, our worship is important, our faith and our love for one another is very important. And we are to teach and teach the Good news in a loving way, as Luther would say as a mother was just talking to her child. This is the way the word should be, not so difficult that you need 5-6 bibles to get the right meaning or the right significance. I have been going back and forth through my notes and they are looking more meaningless then ever before. I am fighting a war that has to be documented, this has like I said something has to be done, and I need your prayers and anything else to keep this church going, I am only one man that built this whole site and that is a year and a halfs work, and in my condition and fighting the fatigue and the pain and the tears it has to be something, as I took a walk today I asked the Lord maybe I am being tested for some great thing I must do, in the future, we all know that sooner or later the end times will be upon us and all the rich people that are living in their world of luxury will be changed everyone is going to be the same, and there are going to be a few chosen to minister and help these people that are totally in a world that is unknown to them, so it takes a person with experience fighting these unseen forces everyday, to explain, help, guide and minister about what is happening in these end of days to these people that never experienced a full blown attack from evil. I expressed last week that some people don’t even know what spiritual warfare is, and have never experienced it before, or they might say well I am a Christian and I go to church, and I am a good person, well to put it all bluntly if you are not getting attacked by the enemy you might just be doing something wrong or you are not doing something right to better mankind. I am not going to boast about what I do and I am not even going to go into it, I don’t need to impress anyone, except my Lord, and I know He is watching me everyday, I am not saying I am not a sinner, I am and as the Apostle Paul would say I am chief of the sinners, don’t get the wrong impression, I have gone close to six years in celibacy, and I have spent most of this past six years in prayer and in the word and in different schools, I had to make a change, most of you all know that I was one of the best chiefs around, and I have many things to prove it,  I should not be boasting about myself, to me that is a sin in itself, I should be boasting on our beloved Jesus and what He has done for me, this church and everyone else, and all the goodness He has given me and everyone else, and the relationship that is growing between myself and the Father, the worse thing I could do is lie and I am not going to do that either. If you are a visitor to this church for the first time and you are not sure about making Christ your personal savior, I don’t want to alarm you, but  you have better make some decisions quickly, and soon because you are running out of time, and I don’t want to see anyone end up in hell. All I ever wanted is to lay hands on the sick and for them to be healed by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I never wanted to be rich, I just wanted to have a group of people just coming over and talking about God and having bible studies. I would be totally content with that. But I have sat here through the holidays and Christmas and all the get together holidays for two years, and I have shed many tears, being alone, and to weak to even go outside and no one has even knocked on my door to see how I am or even offered me a piece of pie. All my neighbors know I am sick; I don’t go anywhere except to the doctors or the pharmacy, or to get supplies. Love is the next and most important thing you can do for others. And my main neighbors are featured on the friend’s pages, along with doctors and pharmacies and the people that work there. That is very different, when you don’t have a regular job, and you are not out there meeting new people, you end up living your life alone. All my work and all my friends are scattered all over the world, and to tell you the truth I love them all, plus I love my half- little brother who hasn’t talked to me in years. And my mom has been a saint in her own way.
“If I could speak in any language in heaven or on earth but didn't love others, I would only be making meaningless noise like a loud gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I knew all the mysteries of the future and knew everything about everything, but didn't love others, what good would I be? And if I had the gift of faith so that I could speak to a mountain and make it move, without love I would be no good to anybody. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would be of no value whatsoever. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Love will last forever” (1Cor.13:1-8a NLT)
We all know and I need to preach my Jesus so everyone can be aquainted with Him and gets to know Him better, Jesus when He was here with us there are three main aspects in His ministry His teaching, preaching, and healing. By teaching we show our concerns for understanding, preaching shows our concern for commitment and healing shows our concern for wholeness. So His healing authenticated His teaching and preaching, proving the fact that He was truly from God. So I considered maybe that old story be careful what you pray for you just might get it, I would say that, before you give a man the gift of healing others, he must not have any self pride in himself whatsoever, and I see many a preacher that prays for healing or performs healing. The thing is, Jesus is doing the healing and you are nothing, we know this but sometimes it may just go the other way into self pride and eventually sin. So God is testing me over and over, and I believe He is giving the evil one permission to alter my days with my life, to purify me, just like Job.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2Cor.4:7 KJV
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2Cor. 4:5-6 KJV
I have walked into hospitals before and I have prayed on people and at times I had a prayer partner, and we didn’t have a problem getting into ICU just to pray for someone. I knew a man that new the bible backwards and forwards, I thought we would make a great team together and I suggested we go into all the sanitariums where people are possessed by demonic spirits, you see now a days the thought of a demonic spirit living in someone is crazy, you see what the world has done to peoples minds, how they are being twisted and changed, where did all the demonic spirits go they just disappeared and went away, don’t you think a person can be possessed? There are so many websites now and books written on demon possession. So now these people are lying helpless and we need to gather a team together to go into these psych wards and pray with and lay hands on these people and release them of the spirit and or spirits that they may have that has been terrorizing there lives and probably there whole family’s lives. But here is a man that knows the bible almost from memory and he didn’t even believe in any of the spiritual gifts, and he was a generational preacher, in other words his father was a preacher and so on, so I asked him one day if he would like to go, and he thought I was out of my mind. You see I just don’t understand it. How can a man with so much knowledge not believe in the spiritual gifts, unless his father told him and the grandfather taught him and just progressed into an empty spiritless man? Forgive me for judging, but I am trying to make a point.
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. 2 Tim 4:1-5 ESV
Plus another thing I would like to warn you while we are on this subject and scripture. We have to beware of not only false teachers or false Christians we have to look out for the false churches. I say this because I started going to this church and every time I drove past the hospital and actually got anointed by the Holy Spirit and the tears and the warmth would come and I used to get that feeling when I used to pick up food for the poor, and I drove down that same road time and time again, and it was like the Lord was pushing me into that hospital to pray on people, just to sit in the lobby with my bible and get to know people and have a conversation and eventually would find out who they were visiting and what just happened or some other reason they were there and then my plan was to just get invited into there friend or families room and I could pray for them, lay hands on them what ever the situation was, and each day the anointing was getting stronger and stronger, then I was lead to this church one night, I got into my truck and just said I am going to find a church, and I almost drove away from this particular church and a man came out of the bushes and said you can park right here next to this bush and I went in, then everything changed, I didn’t realize it but the anointing from the hospital was getting dimmer and dimmer, and it came to a time that I had to visit a friend in that same hospital, and as I was walking through I was carrying two bibles, I always carry two and I started to fell a fear and embarrassment like I never felt before, it seemed I was trying to hide my bibles, and when I went into the room I was getting all twisted trying to pray for the healing of my friend. I never felt this way before; I don’t know what came over me. I knew it had to be the church because I felt totally drained in my spirit, and back then I was fine, fit and ready to go, in the word for hours upon hours everyday and loved it, that is one of God’s major weapons so we are able to fight back the schemes of the devil, we need to love that word and breath that word and know it memorize it and worship it, do it, and live it. But I was tricked into a church that just made me feel uneasy, and the more I knew about it, the more I knew I was sitting in a false church.
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. 2Cor.11:13-15 NASB
Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. For such men are slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of their own appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting. Rom.16:17-18 NASB
I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are (disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed! For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. Gal. 1:6-10 NASB
Dear Father, Thank You that we all made it another week, please help us all, compared to other countries and other lands people are getting tortured for loving the Lord Jesus, and I am just getting attacked beyond reality, and I pray for all the congregation and the tears are running down my face, and I pray for all the people that are suffering, people in hospitals, and in all rest homes, and nursing homes, in prisons, jails, sanitariums, and people living in poverty, people who are living in the streets, all the men and boys that are in wartime battles, people who are suffering from drug addiction, alcoholism, AIDS, cancers and any other ailment, I ask for their healing and someone to talk to, and a shoulder to cry on, and a place they can go and feel safe, and just peace for them all. Dear God please help us all, we Love You in Jesus Name, Amen and Amen
Hi Prayer Warriors, Lao Christians are being Imprisoned and tortured in a recent wave of arrests in Southern Laos.  Please pray for Mr. Kamthan, Mr. Vangthong, Mr. Donkham, Mr. Lakorn, Mr. Thongnak, Mr. Thongla, Mr. Kuey, Mr. A-Kum, Mr. Par-Takim and Mr. Khampuang.  Eight of these men were bound hand and foot and left naked to the animals, insects and snakes.  They were then placed into a hole the size of a man for one month; as far as we know they are in prison now, if they survived.  These men stood up for their faith in Jesus so please pray for them.
God Bless You All
In Jesus' Love
Robert
