Good morning, my brothers and sisters from Hilo, Hawaii to all points of the world. Let us all praise the Lord for a beautiful day and another day of life for the keys and another day of judgment, and our testing for the Kingdom of Heaven. Yes my brothers and sisters we are being tested, judged and analyzed for our entrance into the kingdom of heaven. Yes in a loving way we are being educated and taken away from the world of all it lusts and sin, and it is up to us which road we are to take (Matt. 7:12-13) Let us not get carried away we are not getting tested like some lab experiment, we are children of God and we are treated as part of Gods family and we need discipline here and there. (Heb.12:11-13) Don’t forget we are in God’s hands being studied and having a relationship and friendship by God and our beloved Jesus who sits at His right side and pleads for us each and everyday. Don ‘t forget we have the accuser accusing us of all our mistakes and asking God if he can do this or that to us to test our faith, so we are in or must I say on the battle field and it goes on as long as we exist on this earthly planet. We are fighting a hidden war that most of the world just doesn’t see, only the spiritual and the dome of Christianity. We have to include men and women of great prayer who are in constant communication with God. So in any event we can not be understood by the world of psychology and psychiatry we all know that whole field has taken the turn for the worst, they are still concentrating on the brain, and not on the soul or the spirit which is what the words in those fields mean. In those fields sorry to say have be taken off the tracks and positioned on a different tangent. Only believers, evangelists, pastors, ministers, chaplains, and any other workers or bond servants for Christ contain the understanding and the purity and love for Christ. These are people that are called by God just for this specific purpose. To lead us through the war against good verses evil. We also have many Christian simpletons that fully engage in the war for Christendom. We all have to exercise our gifts and utilize what God has given to each and everyone of us, prophecy seems to be the most important gift at this time, and Paul would have not put so much weight on it back 2,000 years ago, now that the end times grow so near we know that prophecy can save us from a heap of the lies, sin and lusts of this world. Our next complication is finding the true prophet and we know that there are many out there that pose to be so called prophets, in the book of the law if a prophet was wrong he was put to death.
Dear Heavenly Father, and our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, You have warned us about the world that we should not live in an abundance of material possessions. Teach us all the word of life, and that true happiness does not depend on different measures of possessions in this material world. But grant us the true gifts and fruits of the Spirit so as servants we spread what you have given us and to teach us the importance of Jesus and the eternal life with the entrance into the kingdom of Heaven. Lord we are all assembled to worship You, to thank You for all you have given us. To praise Your Name with truth and in spirit so the heavens can hear our actions of Praise and worship. We are all gathered here together as one, to do Your work for the Kingdom. We ask humbly for the joy to see the fruits of our labor and our offerings. We all are to follow Your word to Give and it will be given to You. So please give us Your strength to continue on with our service to You and the sharing of Your word to others. We are all eager to hear Your words, well done good and faithful servant and follow me as we enter into the inheritance of the Kingdom prepared for each of us from the foundation of the world. In the Holy Name of Jesus, Amen.
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matt. 7:13-14 NASB
All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. Heb.12:11-13 NASB
You will go in and take the land from nations that practice magic and witchcraft. But the LORD your God won't allow you to do those things. Instead, he will choose one of your own people to be a prophet just like me, and you must do what that prophet says. You were asking for a prophet the day you were gathered at Mount Sinai and said to the LORD, “Please don't let us hear your voice or see this terrible fire again--if we do, we will die!" Then the LORD told me:
Moses, they have said the right thing. So when I want to speak to them, I will choose one of them to be a prophet like you. I will give my message to that prophet, who will tell the people exactly what I have said. Since the message comes from me, anyone who doesn't obey the message will have to answer to me.
But if I haven't spoken, and a prophet claims to have a message from me, you must kill that prophet, and you must also kill any prophet who claims to have a message from another god.
You may be asking yourselves, “How can we tell if a prophet's message really comes from the LORD?" You will know, because if the LORD says something will happen, it will happen. And if it doesn't, you will know that the prophet was falsely claiming to speak for the LORD. Don't be afraid of any prophet whose message doesn't come from the LORD. Deut. 18:14-22 CEV
I will tell you a story I went to a 3 day prophetic teaching which was part of the course and also we were affiliated also with there school , and still to this day they owe me a degree which doesn’t bother me so much but I had to pay them over a hundred dollars for the degree and each time I tried to call my school about the other school I was never welcomed and never receive a refund or an answer to any of the questions, and that was years ago, so my brothers and sisters I’ll leave that weight with you as it stands. Also I must add that during this prophetic course it seems I myself saw many visions that all came to some example of truth to the individual, then there was a husband and wife team and I grasped hands together and all I could see was bars on windows and an old grayish building, everyone was steering away from what I saw, every one thought it was pretty rude for me to even mention the truth, you see more false judgment, and I am sitting in a room of prophets no less, in the end the couple came up to me and told me the whole story that they were missionaries and that they taught in a school in another country and the school itself did have bars on the windows and the way I described it was exactly what it looked like. After that day I did not do any more prophesying and I have know idea if I still have the gift, but I don’t think the Lord would take it away especially during these perilous times.
I don’t remember at the moment that I mentioned it in the past 68 sermons but the fact remains that the Apostle Paul places a great emphasis in the gift of prophecy in (1Cor.14:1-6)
Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit. But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified. 1Cor. 14:1-6 NIV
So my brothers and sisters we should all be asking in prayer for the gift of Prophecy from the Holy Spirit. Also I want to add that many of us have been baptized but some of us have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit and it seems when you do, the gifts seem to come out right away, like the gift of tongues, many times after they have been baptized in the Holy Spirit they start specking in tongues. Let us look up in the book of Acts chapter 19.
While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John's baptism,” they replied. Paul said, “John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. There were about twelve men in all. Acts 19:1-7 NIV
So these 12 men, they all received the baptism of John for repentance from sin, but missing the fact of the new life in Christ. These men only heard bits and pieces of the Gospel of Christ. They believed but they did not receive the basic instruction and also the importance of the Holy Spirit. Our example is two fold, turning from sin through repentance, and also turning to Christ through the Holy Spirit. So these men were incomplete just like a lot of Christians in the world today. All through the book of Acts the believers received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in many different ways, usually the Holy Spirit would engulf a person on conversion, (profession of faith in Christ) So these 12 believers were part of the church (notice the church) and who are we, but they didn’t know about the Holy Spirit. So know these 12 were eager to learn and experience the part they were all missing, and the Apostle Paul laid hands on them and they began to speak in new tongues or may I say other languages, and also at the same time prophesied. So church this was also the place and time where Paul wrote the book of first Corinthians which all makes sense together with scripture and he did spend two years in Ephesus.
So my next question is how can we all lay our hands on you so you can all receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Other pastors and leaders can do this with their own particular groups some where in all the different parts of the rural world. We all must pray for all the believers and members and visitors that are looking and reading through a screen. We can try and see if we can pass the power of God into wherever you all may be, let us all lay our hands on the monitor and just repeat after me:
Dear Heavenly Father, we are all eager to be complete in the body of Christ please baptize each and everyone of us in the Holy Spirit through these wires that are stretched thousands of miles, so we to can obtain the spiritual gifts to be able to speak in new tongues and to prophecy, plus we know there are about 20 gifts in all, please Lord grant us with what You want us to receive. In Jesus Name, Amen
Now that you feel the warmth and some special tears of Joy, try to speak and do no concentrate on any particular thing, your spirit deep inside of you is speaking, leave your tongue loose and keep speaking, don’t be afraid of what comes out of your mouth, your spirit is speaking directly to God, which is a good and wonderful thing, and know one knows what you are speaking only your inner self and God, unless someone around you has gained the gift to interpret. The best part is Satan and his agents can not understand what you are saying either. Soon you will feel a peace like you have never felt before, make sure you are sitting down in a chair that has a back on it. You are all blessed whether you speak now or tomorrow keep trying and asking the Holy Spirit in prayer, keep trying and it will come to most. May you all be blessed!
“You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I came into the province of Asia. I served the Lord with great humility and with tears, although I was severely tested by the plots of the Jews. You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.
“And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me–the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
“Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.
“Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I have not coveted anyone's silver or gold or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Acts 20:18b-35 NIV
Why isn’t there any discord in darkness? But how would we ever know but that is a question I don’t really care about knowing. So I wonder there is much discord for people of the light and salt of the earth. We as Christians must follow Christ to the letter. We cannot ever be neutral about Christ. In other words we have to be constantly following Christ; our sharing within the world can put a dapper on our relationship to Christ. We understand that there is a constant war and struggle against good and evil. In other words when we fall into a worldly job, there is always competition and even as lets take for instance an artist, there is always an achievement or ambition to do a better job, to make a better painting or a better sculpture than others and still we are to be humble, and it would be even harder to be a humble man in a corporate relationship of Big business. Everyone is striving to be better to some extent then it becomes a race to be the best, so in turn they make more money and get that award of achievement or the worker of the month etc. If we are spending 8 hours a day in the race of society that makes our time split to completely keep our minds on following of Christ. If you have a large family that cuts your time even more. Yes Paul, Aquila and Priscilla were tent makers in a situation during that time line that should have no effect on any relationship or following Christ. We do have to realize and know our selves, and ask ourselves are we in separation with God working through our daily jobs. We have to remember that we cannot copy the behavior of this world. In the world we find jealousy, competition, selfishness, worldly ambition, pressing for achievements and accomplishments. We Christians know we must be separated to an extent from the world. We also know we have to live in it to basically help the lost. We have to put food on the table for our families. We want the Lord to change us and our thinking. So we let our Lord transform us, as we step closer to the love and relationship of God. We are finding out what God wants us to really do.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is his good, pleasing and perfect will. Rom. 12:1-3 NIV
My situation as an example I was a great Chef and of course just the way I say it, I was proud and carrying that pride and I don’t think I fell into the worldly customs of envy and selfishness, yes I was in a race to be the best, and I was falling into covetous wanting that better restaurant or to work for that ultimate expensive white tablecloth and tuxedo fine dining restaurant and when I had my own place, my time was very limited toward my relationship with God. I was so busy with the world and I even forgot about my loved ones. I could have picked up maybe stubbornness or got upset when a delivery did not come in. How could I even let the Holy Spirit have a chance to renew my mind, to reeducate my soul and redirect my spirit. See I am running around the dining room making sure everyone is happy with there foot high painted plates making sure the worlds eyes were all enlightened surprised, and amazed when a plate was placed in front of them. When was I letting the eyes of God see my heart? I was still a Christian still going to church and still in prayer but I was still too much in the world. As the story goes God pulled me completely out of the world lost the business, not because of my doing, I had a partner spending all the profits on other things beside the business. So God sent me back to school and doing work for various churches. When I arrived in Hawaii the whole plan was to build a church mission, this way I would utilize my talents for the good of the poor and needy and get out of the world. As everything was falling into place I came down with this unexplained sickness, a serious attack from the devil. I cannot do anything, my whole focus on life was to continue with the prayer ministry and be alone with God. We must understand that we have many Christians live there lives to make a good impression on others and to some this is a pleasing attribute to themselves. Many of us all do it, if we are not in full time ministry and even if we are some us are about let us say for example focusing on churches ratings, and the number in the congregation. For instance, I got bothered when Google was hosting 102 pages of the Church on an added line “more from the Church Ministries” which opened a new window that led to another 10 pages of just the Church Ministries. Now that line that opens the new windows is gone, I am deeply hurt so there is a typical example of pride and that is in the ministry so I myself am not being humble enough. Too much ambition can be a sin too.
Do not love the world nor the things in the world If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. 1John 2:15-17 NASB
Paul is always trying to teach us spiritual unity and to love one another as he tried to explain to the Philippians to work together as a group and to join hands as one in the Spirit and purpose. The thing is when we take other peoples problems and we try to concentrate on solving their problems as if they were our own, so then we are doing the work of Christ putting others first before ourselves for another ministry. We cannot even concentrate on mainly our own needs we should be in constant prayer and wanting to find away to help others.
Fill up and complete my joy by living in harmony and being of the same mind and one in purpose, having the same love, being in full accord and of one harmonious mind and intention. Do nothing from factional motives [through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends] or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility (lowliness of mind) let each regard the others as better than and superior to himself [thinking more highly of one another than you do of yourselves]. Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others. Phil. 2:2-4 AMP
We all know that selfishness can breakdown any church or ministry, jealousy of others can break it even further, we all should be one even formulating small groups as I would say “clicks” can also destroy new members feelings that want to be a part of the whole and there are little doors and windows that they must pass through before they are excepted, some churches give you time to prove yourself when you enter a new church and within that time period everyone per say is checking you out, studying you and that can be a very cold welcome, sure you may be welcomed when you first arrive but as time passes you may end up sitting at the Sunday table by yourself. This waiting and stagnant time of being accepted is a lonely period. There was one pastor that came right up to me and said it will take 6 months for me to get to know you. I do not mean to judge, but if it is going to take that long I believe your in the wrong business. A pastor has to have a great deal of discernment if he might get a call to visit a family in the hospital of new members what is he going to do wait 6 months at his bedside to know what to say to this person and family to comfort them. If you think you’re going to go into that hospital room with a general prayer well that is not going to cut it. Pastors are Shepard’s that lead the flock and your spiritual ability has to kick in and let the Holy Spirit communicate for you.
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:34 NASB
We have to remember that we were once unsaved and headed for darkness, but through Christ we were welcomed into the family of God as his children, therefore we should welcome others immediately into the family, and have them feel comfortable from start to finish!!
All of you are God's children because of your faith in Christ Jesus. And when you were baptized, it was as though you had put on Christ in the same way you put on new clothes. Faith in Christ Jesus is what makes each of you equal with each other, whether you are a Jew or a Greek, a slave or a free person, a man or a woman. So if you belong to Christ, you are now part of Abraham's family, and you will be given what God has promised. Gal.3:26-29 CEV
When we enter into heaven there will be no more worldly ties, jealousy, greed, lust for power, pride arrogance, bickering, judging or any type of separation, just complete love with our brothers and sisters. We have to establish that now; otherwise we may be standing at the door and hear;
Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.' Matt. 7:21-23 NASB
We have to constantly think of the other person as more important then ourselves, we have to carry that selfless, humble, attitude and this way it will link us to Christ. What would have happened if our Jesus just thought about himself, we would be living in a different outlook today, if there was anything left of this world. If it was not for Christianity the world would have fell apart a long time ago. Christendom is holding this world together weather anyone knows it or not. And we are the ones being laughed at and ridiculed. We are still running right along side to people on road to destruction with the world changing all around us. Some consider Christianity as a superstition of a universal neurosis. That is how much we are blinded; our own psychology is changing, and has been for over a century. Psychology comes from psyche (soul) study of the soul, and psychiatry is doctoring of the soul and spirit. Psche (soul and spirit) (iatros)- (doctor) and now in seminaries students are taking classes which open a different realization, and is actually pulling them away from God. To put it another way psychiatrists have needed to address matters of the soul or spirit instead concentrating exclusively on the brain.
One of the early teachers of psychiatry considered and taught man is just another animal and this teaching science without a soul has been spreading all over this planet even in the major seminaries and I do not even want to get into the psychiatric wards and how those people have been treated, I have added a new link on the “Gods healing” scriptures page. In fact there are some wonderful links on that page to find the direction and leading to God and also this link on how the world of psychiatry has been altered, but then again there are so many things that have been altered. All we do know is;
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Heb 13:8 NKJV
So we have to just adjust ourselves to not be a part of the world. There are so many aspects of things in this world I say things because there is no other way to explain unfruitful desires for the Christian yet for a man of the world, a man that is internally being run by Satan, with of course no knowledge of it, in fact they might not believe in anything, there you have it, it is a shame that someone that could be so close to you, maybe a member of the family, or a close friend could be being run by Satan and not even knowing it if they are not a believer in our Lord. That is why it is our job to witness and save all these people from the gates of hell and to make this world a better place, Christians have the Holy Spirit in them directing there every move and thoughts, but then again that particular Christian has to have that relationship with God, they just can’t say well I said the sinners prayer and I am a Christian now, it is not that easy we need to follow Christ.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. Matt. 16:24-27 NIV
That is why we should be around Christians in order not to get to hurt, do not forget some people can lead you right into sin and death. We should go on our feelings from the Holy Spirit and decide to stay away from these people or not. We don’t need to be condemned with a smile. Remember Jesus was condemned with a kiss. A person can say that they love you but if they are not a part of the body of Christ you may be in for a big surprise and you may even get more than hurt. And that goes for Christians too, we can be easily hurt by them too, and when you are hurt by a close sister or brother then the tears start to roll, because you have the compassion for them and have built and established a relationship, and when someone like on that caliber hurts you, then you have to just let it roll off you, if you hold on to any of it you will be left with a deep spiritual scare, and that my friends is so hard to forget and heal from, it is like a member of your family just saying they don’t love you anymore. You take a non-Christian and in their spirit which is the active principle of their thought patterns and what comes out of their mouths can almost destroy you or break your heart, and after a series of repetitive times the evil one in combination is working together with the other person without their knowledge can truly give you a world of hurt an I mean the world, and from the world. That is another reason we should just try to stay out of the world, and the worldly lusts and pleasures, leisure, power, popularity and the old financial security and the people who strive for these things. Watch out my brothers and sisters there are many people that say they are Christians, and they just aren’t. I have done so much research on the percentage ratio and it is over whelming, it is so over whelming that we should be praying daily for the gift of discernment. This will give you the ability to see how much fruit and what type of fruit good or bad on contact, Wouldn’t be a blessing for you to be able to see very plainly the fruit each man possesses by a greeting or a handshake.
“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. Matt.7:15-20 NIV
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not think you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. Matt.3:7-10
Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him. Matt. 21:31b-32 NIV
“Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.” Matt.21:43-44 NIV
This gift of discernment may save your life from eternal ruin, sometimes you are in a position when you are weak and need comfort, we sometimes leave ourselves open to the wrong words that may enter our ears and hearts, and you may not even notice it right away, but later on down the road those words can lead you down the wrong path or have something flash in your mind to say the wrong thing to another and Satan’s words end up spreading like a wild fire, burning everything in its path. We have to beware of these things, some people just carry that Christian fake smile, and not have a clue what is secretly going on within themselves in this world, we need to stay away from these destructive seeds. I am sorry to bring you this news but the proof could be sitting right next to you in Church. Remember Jesus words in Matthew any tree that does not process good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Does this scripture mean just because you say or think you are a Christian does this mean you will enter into the kingdom of heaven? Remember Jesus saying to the Pharisees the tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the kingdom of heaven before you. Must I explain we know that the Pharisees did not except Jesus and we know the blood is on their hands but to make a statement like that, it makes you wonder who will enter into the kingdom of heaven. I am just here to speak the truth going on in this world, if Jesus thought the world was a wicked and adulteress generation 2,000 years ago and we all know things have gotten a lot worse with the murder and torture of Terri Shaivo, what has this world become? What about all the things we do not read in the paper, that is not even printed, and all the news that is not even shown on the television? We have to remember our media is controlled. If they told everyone the total truth about everything do you think the world would go into mass hysteria? I know some people would say oh they tell us everything in the paper and the 6 o’clock news. Remember who is running the world.
Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give You,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Matt. 4:8-9 NIV
That is why my brothers and sisters we are to not love the world or the things in the world. The only way we can enjoy life is to follow Christ deeply in our hearts not half way, but give Him ourselves totally, and to forget about our greedy grasp on earthly rewards so we can live holy lives in and hold on tight to our eternal life in Christ and then we can experience the love and benefits of following Christ.
But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.” Acts 9:15-16 NIV
