The Church Ministries
Bible Truth Christian Church
Good morning to everyone from Hawaii, to all parts of this world. Welcome to our 40th, Sunday Service. Last week we made mention of the great commission, today we feel maybe we all should talk about it. We at The Church Ministries are able to travel to many different countries, and all different time zones with the internet, and we keep the Service up all week, so you can read it, or preach it, or pass it on to someone else, at anytime.
Dear Heavenly Father, always, You are our Father, and You are our joy and strength, we are all here to worship You today, to be it as a group, or individuals, with all different hands, holding high to Your Name. Please come upon us with Your peace, and truth, and open up our hearts to all that You want us to do and say. We call upon You Lord to show us direction and guidance, and we ask for the Holy Spirit to come and let us all receive the anointing, with Your grace upon us all. In Jesus Name, Amen
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matt. 28:18-20 NASB
Please turn all of your bibles to Matthew, Chaper 28
Jesus has now commissioned his Disciples and his adjoining people to go forth through all the nations. Here He tells his people to go to the entire world and to share his love and His last words, and teachings. Usually someone’s lasts words do stick to you. Our Father God gave Jesus all authority over the Heavens and the Earth. On His reasoning, He wanted to carry on the discipleship by spreading it to more and more people. He wanted His words with love and forgiveness to be multiplied all over the world. There should be a teaching, baptizing and preaching experience still to this day. Many of us our following the last words recorded, but we will all understand also, His instructions. We have all opened our hearts and feel His directions today through the Holy Spirit. Jesus was telling His people during that time period that the fellowship, that He created, would and always carry on to make more disciples.
“Go ye,” in the KJV, is really not a command to go, but in the wording, which the hearer of the words of this command, they should already be going, or as you are going, making disciples. “Teach all nations” can also be worded as to convert all Gentiles or disciple all nations.
So Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you." John 20:21 NASB
Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. Rom 8:9-11 NIV

In the beginning the light and word was to be spread only to the Jews, but now he wants the good news to be spread to the entire world. Jesus Christ is King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and He suffered and died for all of our sins, across the world. We are to go and spread this great commission, and to even walk down your street, or next door, or into another country and make disciples of all people, and to teach and preach a common salvation. Through togetherness and teaching, anyone can learn to choose, whoever will come, are welcome, with holy hands into the family of Jesus Christ.
These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: "Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near. 'Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matt: 10:5-8 NIV
Jesus also confirms the reality of the Trinity in the great commission. There are so many arguments about the Trinity with all bible scholars because the word Trinity is not written any where in the Bible. Jesus confirms the fact of the Three in One, and the One in Three. Our Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit, live amongst us, as the Trinity.
Baptism is the outward part of people being cleansed and the inward part is being renewed. The inside of people or their well being are changing and later with agreeing  and uniting with other believers which also forms a sanctification, justification process, or a cleaning and purification process. To baptize means to dip, dunk, or immerse, never does it mean to just sprinkle. Baptism is also a symbol to submit to Our Lord Jesus and to God the Fathers way of life, also being governed and directed by the Holy Spirit. As we get immersed in the water, we are dying to sin and rise out of the water in the same resurrected manner of our Lord Jesus, to be a new creature with a bond of unity and belief, with the rest of Christianity. We also take on identification to be sharing the life of the Triune God. The name is singular, so you would not be baptizing a person three times, which brings out the fact that the Three are One.
Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Rom. 6:3-4 NIV
Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 NIV
But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Acts 8:12 NIV
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. 1Cor. 12:13 NASB
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
"He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. Mark 16:15-16 NASB

This commission of Christ’s people extends in it a relationship to the great commission in Matthew but with a slightly different phase, with different meanings with the added point of being condemned, if you do not believe in Our Jesus. Jesus again tells us here to go to the entire world to every creature and preach the Gospel. These Scriptures are like marching orders, and to believe in the Gospel of Jesus. If you do not believe you will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Here as we look at the word we realize that Baptism does not save, nor it is needed for salvation. It is the grace of God as accepted through faith in Jesus Christ. Remember the two thieves that died with Christ as they shared their individual crosses. The one man that believed in Christ and ended up in Paradise with Christ, was saved with Christ, and he was not baptized. I guess this man had more faith than most of the disciples and believers. Remember he looked over to Jesus and said “remember me, when you come into your Kingdom.” Most of the disciples were in hiding and getting to a point of giving up with their hopes and trusts, of the Kingdom awaiting them.
Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”Luke 23:42-43 NIV

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Rom 10:12-15 NIV

Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Luke 24:46-48 NASB
There was another group of followers from Emmaus who thought Israel would be redeemed. The Jews believed through Old Testament prophecies that there was going to be a military or political take over. The point of the matter is when Jesus died, most of the disciples hopes were shattered, not knowing that Christ died to redeem people from the slavery of sin. They did not realize at that point, it was the greatest gift or hope to receive. So this is were we are back to Jesus telling his disciples to go, and that he died for this great hope of redeeming people for the penalty of sin. Those who believe in His name, will be forgiven, and live in Heaven with God eternally. You will also receive strength from God to pass on the word of the Gospel, or the good news. You will receive a force to push through all obstacles and to be able to preach the word any where the Lord sends you, if you are a believer in Jesus. We realize and believe in His death and resurrection that you all will get this power and stability knowing the facts, and to know and agree that Jesus lives in you. The more time that you spend and grow within the Lord, the more doors and gates will open, and you will receive a blessing of peace, strength, attitude, and love within your lives and hearts.
On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."
So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"
He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:4-8 NIV

"But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, it is the third day since these things happened. Luke 24:21 NASB
Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Luke 24:46-48 NASB
For the last number of days, I think the healing is there, through God, but I have, and still am, going though a complicated time. I am not only getting stripped of every piece of self pride, I am going through a cleansing process, and to get me to that course to know Him further, to get nearer to God, and connect to the essence of what Jesus had to go through, and what I have to go through, with some incredible amounts of suffering and battles, in order to get cleansed. In the same process to recognize the true will of God, and to also understand that I must spend quality, and quantity time with Him. Sometimes God does not let me do anything else. Plus I need to regain my strength, being replaced with His strength, wisdom and His righteousness. “Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.”(Eph 5:17)  I will not even get into the spiritual warfare that is going around, on top of this all. I have been bent, and painted, and thrown into the fire, again and again, and I know, I am still in great tenderness, and I don’t know where the Lord will guide me, till the next day. To be stripped of all flesh and pride is a hurting process, and as we suffer through it, to bring us closer to His throne, His feet, or to the great light. “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.”(Eph. 5:8-10) But as you lose this pride, flesh, or carry any other sin, or the carnal worldly mind, you must go to Him constantly for forgiveness, worship and peace. I have been stretched and pounded, but at the end of it all, only God will not see me, He will only see Christ, in me. I can do nothing, I am nothing, it is no more I this, or I that, it is all Him. We are dead, in Christ, “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (Gal 2:20). We and a lot of Christians around the world are going through this process, which is so understandable, and it is an honorable perception, for God is in control, and all things do work out for good, we get all of our strength through Him, either we walk, sit, kneel, or lay completely on our face, and tap into His strength and refreshment. This is what I had to become, nothing, dead in Christ, through all of this. That all of this life will change, and God is building warriors for Himself everywhere, for His glory, and if some of you may be going though the same things, don’t be alarmed, God is in control, to take us away from the world, and to be more like Christ.  And if it takes longsuffering, or some illness, or some other tragedy, He is going to let it happen, for a reason. Faith, Trust and Belief in Him are the keys, that will open any door at any time.  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21)  For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. (1Pet. 1:23)
For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel.
For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me.
What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may offer the gospel without charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel. For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, so that I may win more. 1Cor. 9:16-19 NASB

And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a  Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:9-11 NASB
Dear Father, we love you, we enjoyed this day with our brothers and sisters in worship for You O’Lord. Please be with us, the rest of these days through the week, we want to honor You, and to see You, and to touch You, we know that all the sufferings are for cleansing, and the things that go wrong, You do not cause, and we know that You are still in control, and all good will become of any of the problems we are living or experiencing. We all know you are purifying us and filtering us, for our next project, or bringing us to a different level, to better all of us, whatever it may be. We are all with You, your Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to all live as one, if we are acceptable. To live with You, with pure love and understanding, this is our hope and dream, to be close with You, and to adore You Father. In the power, and by the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.
