Sickness, Weakness, Sermon- Not To Give Up- For You. Plus Under Evil Attack With This Computer- Pray for Us! And God Will Help Us All With The Truth November 22, 2009
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. [Titus 2:13-14 KJV]
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Titus 2:11,12, 15
Good Morning Bothers and Sisters and all people, all members and any visitors, we are writing from our main frame-which needs much fixing, Greetings to you all, grace and peace to the saints and the elect and any normal person or someone who may be lost, we welcome all of you- from Hilo, Hawaii to the farthest reaches of the world, I just pray that our sermons are being used by others and then “piggy backed” to their members home or village or town when they walk back from church, I just hope the pastor has a supply of paper so he can run off a few copies so the people who live far can take what was spoken today or any day with their neighbors and family and loved ones, to learn the value of knowing and sharing life with Jesus Christ. And the plan made by the Father long before time, that Jesus would be our redeemer and savior. Like I say latter on- it took me a while to learn about Jesus, even when I was on the beach of Ft. Lauderdale, during the winter break- there were gangs of people talking about Jesus, groups upon groups were witnessing to the world, back then it was during the time when people called us Jesus freaks, that was a long time ago. I still seem to be getting weaker and weaker, just a walk downtown will exhaust me, it is on the way back walking up that hill, no matter what kind of day it is or anytime of the year I become soaking wet. The day I had to go downtown for my prescriptions and then walk up that hill almost straight up, then a mile at a incline with a steep hill at the end at the drug store, just about knocked me out. One day is enough but when you in a hurry and forget the umbrella, and walk back up the hill in the rain and then I had to make it to the store before it closed. No one would give me a ride, either way; here I am wearing a suit jacket nice shirt and a cane, nice pants, boots- I looked like a normal respectable person that had some kind of problem with my leg or back, which you can plainly see by the cane. No one would pick me up; here I am upset in a rush to get to the Post Office, before it closed- to hand in my taxes. I had to get to there and the bank, I almost had to run- but that was totally out of the question. Thank-God He was right there with me, I had a full 5 minutes. Sometimes I get a ride, but this day was unreal. The whole week was full of stress, and the looking through the second hand stores is one simple joy I have, and I get to talk to the people that work there. And walking “almost crawling” up the hill was unreal. I always have gotten a ride home, but not that day. I had to walk because it was getting dark, and you never get a ride when it is dark. No mater how hard I prayed, I just didn’t get a ride. I had pain every where, it was just one of those days. And I usually get home and work on my classes, at my own pace and learn what I choose with a good scholar on the computer. All I did was sit down and imagine through my mind of all the cars that passed me by. It is a lot different on this island for hitch-hiking, normally I get a ride right away, people can see the cane, they know I am having trouble walking and a ride would help me, all over my body. I always picked up hitch-hikers; I always wanted to help others. I guess everyone was in a hurry. I remember one time when I was driving I took a 6,000 mile tour of the states, plus checking out all the National Parks and camping out at all different places of beauty. I had a VW van and picked up every hitch-hiker along the way, it was my friends van and it didn’t matter what route I took, I was more or less the tour guide, I ended up picking up about 32- 36 hitch-hikers the whole way, plus a guy from France he stayed with us all the way, he got out somewhere in L.A. and had a free ride and saw much of the beauty of the states for free. He did by us dinner his last night. At least he would have some good stories to tell his friends when he got back to his country. You see that is the way I am; even when I first got here I picked up everyone. Now I just don’t drive anymore, I still can perfectly, I kind of changed my view, for many reasons, maybe some day I will get up and I should just get out there and drive. Anyway we are here to worship and praise God and thank Jesus for what He has done for us, So let us Praise the Lord, let us worship with thanksgiving to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all the planning between the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit must have been intense. Just imagine what Jesus had to face, in the last couple of hours of His life- he was sweating blood, praying on that rock- because He knew what he had to go through. And most of what He was facing. He did that all for us, so we would have a second chance, and to understand God’s law, follow His precepts, and to become a child of God, and be reconciled to God, with righteousness and holiness. Just reading the 4 Gospels could give you some idea what Jesus “The Son of God” did through parts of his life, a God who became a man for us, and suffer for us and even die for us. There is so much that Jesus had done in His life, and as He lived without sin, as He got older he healed all kinds of people, took out bad spirits, even raised people from the dead, blind eyes were opened and deaf ears started hearing, then he had to face the Jews and the Romans, neither one of them new he was the real messiah, either they knew it or just didn’t want to believe it. There was so many prophecies written about Him it makes it hard for me to understand that they didn’t believe him- when so many others did, and watch Him do all kinds of signs and wonders, plus his wisdom and His questions and answers, I mean were they that jealous and they worried about themselves, that the Romans would crush their religion and the temple because of Jesus, they thought that He should die, just because of their fear. They figured they would set him up and lie and do what ever they could to get him killed. Here are upstanding priests and rabbi’s plotting to kill a man, that my friends is wrong, then on top of it they chose a murderer to go free over Him who went around doing good, having no sin. And these were the people he helped and the relatives or part of the families that he healed, and some of these same people were yelling for freedom for Barabbas, and the murderer was freed and the man with no sin in him is convicted to be crucified. How do you do that, John the Baptist new he had no sin, why couldn’t anyone else put it together, or maybe they did and were afraid of Jesus, didn’t they think of the consequences to their own lives- when the Father would watch everything that was going on? How cruel can people be? So we all can have the gift of eternal life. So we still have the spirit of Jesus within our hearts, if we had welcomed Him in. We would receive a new spirit, and the old spirit or the old man would vanish. Plus Jesus’ healing powers, and the fruits of the Holy Spirit where handed down to Christians. That is the thing we have to talk (pray) with God the Father, just the way Jesus did, Jesus spent hours in prayer with the Father. So The Church Ministries has so many sermons and links to give everyone a good understanding of Jesus Christ our Messiah our Lord and Savior. We had a prayer ministry, then I got to weak to be on this computer everyday, writing out prayer letters for many people, we still have our main prayer sheet, which needs to be up-dated and I hoped I would get better and start a Church/Mission downtown, which was my plan from the beginning, Hilo needs a good mission, when I got sick I focused on the website church, and then we became non-profit- and incorporated to a Public Charity. So each week I put up a sermon, and keep it up for the whole week so anyone can use it, we have received many letters of preachers, pastors, and ministers that want me to come to their congregation, they all know that I am very sick, and I would not be able to travel anywhere. The Church Ministries Shares the Good News or the Gospel, now is a free education about Christianity, we pray together, we pray for certain prayer requests, and I keep some of the many prayers on some of the major pages, that anyone can use. Also this way our members and staff and board of directors can meet and discuss what is going on with my life and The Church, it is about a little over 6 years old years now, we didn’t become incorporated until about 3 years ago. We still have a place where you can make donations, but God has supplied this Church with what we needed. We had to struggle at times, but God has been with us all, even people getting healed from emails. You can read most of their replies, there are 7 pages- but I have so many more replies to prayer requests on CD and the computer, that I can make about 4 more pages, when I feel better. One of our Bishop Directors Paul got sick again I think he is all right God has been helping this man, that is why I chose him, he is like 10 missionaries all in one man- and everyone knows him, he was also the Director of the Salem Voice Ministries, and what he has done for the country of India, he has delivered blankets, food, medicine, and even helped build houses for the poor, there is so much he has done for the people, he works like a machine with compassion, plus he used to run the SVM website and the prayer section, and feeding the children, there is so much this man has done, the list is endless, now the evil one strikes him with something else, but we are always at prayer for Paul, he has the same name as me and we are both the same age. We all need to pray for him for complete healing. We also need to pray for his wife Mercy and three children Besly, Hepzy and Lesly. The Church Ministries- needs your prayers, I have to apologize it has been a hard 6 years, plus you still don’t know exactly what you have, or what class it is in, and what group and how bad it is and so forth, some of the cadidiasis’s or which group- or what section - one is pretty bad, that is the one that is dangerous. And I have trouble with my email and I need to write everyone all the Bishop Directors our Bishop Secretary Keith. All we can do is thank God for letting us live and be able to help others. So we Praise Jesus and the Father- plus the Holy Spirit and we worship them with our hearts, spirits and with truth. I need to write to Joaquim and his wife, Plus Jacob and Daisy. My prayers are with all the staff, members, and all our friends, loved ones, and family. The list is still on (246 # sermon) which also needs to be updated, also for the Presidential Prayer Team, on the same sermon page as the candle light prayer they both need to be updated when I can get that email fixed. Let us share the Good News:
Living as a Christian is not so easy, at times it can be but when you deal with a fallen world, and we are not even part of the world, God would not be pleased to be part of the world. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to live as a Christian. Because of Jesus dieing on the cross we are now free from sin’s control. God gives us enough power and understanding to live the will of God, to do the things He asked us to do and follow through with our hearts- the caring and love towards others. To be a Christian is the want to do good, in plane sense. To tell you the truth I can’t wait till Jesus Christ returns and we meet Him in the clouds. It is not as easy as it sounds to just renounce sin and evil desires, if you are a true born again Christian, temptation does not even enter your mind, and we also have to live actively for God, we can’t be working two secular jobs and never see the family, the way things are going most of the world are working more then they are having some type of life. Our captivity in sin has been redeemed, or He purchased our release, plus day by day we are changing with-in to be more like Christ, and through the price of redemption Christ also is purifying our souls with even the knowledge of the influence of sin as we grow more and more like Christ. In the scriptures Paul told Titus to teach the scriptures as well as live them. When the situation comes to a head we are to teach, encourage, and correct others with the truth, things like studying the word everyday like in [Joshua 1:8]; God told Joshua to read the word day and night to fit into the shoes of Moses and take the Israelites into the Promised Land. Remember when Moses hit the rock twice and water came out and God told Moses to talk to the rock, and he disobeyed God in front of all those people, so God told him he would not lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. So Joshua had to take over he was next in line, but God gave him His word, strength and courage to do his duty, many of us have duties for God and most of us are not doing them. We should not be afraid to speak the truth in front of people that are rich or in a bracket of high standing in the community, we should never let ourselves be afraid or feel threatened when we are trying to minister to others or even provide a touch of leadership to the church. “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” [Mark 10:45]
We learn here the motive of Jesus’ ministry, and the fact of our essentials of salvation. As we open the word we understand that a basic ransom was the price to release a slave, Jesus paid each of our ransoms, and still yet many people are just not into learning about Christianity, I can say there are a lot of people that think they are going to heaven aren’t, the thing is various or many people of the world are still in the darkness, many people missed a few facts or just are not interested. Some people never even put the facts together until it might be to late, like me growing up at home, I was never even taught about Jesus in school or any place, God had to bring me to my knees to understand Jesus and to be saved, I was considering my life of what would have happened if something went wrong, and just because I didn’t know about Christ, I could have died in this world and would have ended up in hell. That is why I am writing to everyone, and give my sermons and prayers away, so others can learn quicker or at a younger age about Christ, and this is why I am into writing about the Good News or the Gospel and teach people the importance of being born again. Did you ever burn yourself? Now just imagine that burn on your whole body, no water, just being burned but not dieing, and you are standing in a lake of fire through eternity, which would be such a horrible way to live the rest of your life. That is why I write and push myself, in the condition I am in, to preach the word and somehow get people to read the sermons and even pass them on to other congregations, so they can share with other locals or people in closer towns and villages. We all need to know about Christ, I have that small map and that rectangular box is called the 10/40 window, that is the area of this world that knows the lest about Jesus Christ. But the “piggy back” method of passing on the sermon, or the notes to others- just walking back to there home, village or town that might not even be on a map, these are the places that need to know about Christ. Who would rather live with Jesus after they fall asleep, or die and burn with Satan, at the end of your earthly life, your choice? I came here to build a Church/Mission, I moved so far to a place that is not to big, not to small a driving force brought me here, many things are different here in Hawaii. It is hard to even spread the Good News, I need to get out there and perform some miracles then people would listen, just the way Jesus did it, he told us in John “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” [John 14:12] If you have the faith and the understanding, and be humble and letting the Holy Spirit guides your paths and decisions. You can’t help anyone if you are carrying baggage like envy, strife, jealousy, pride, resentment, greed, contention, conflict, covetousness, distrust, arrogance, self-centered, self-importance, and conceit etc. The love of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, plus constant study of the word- will change your inner self, or your spirit that God gave you when you accepted Christ or Jesus as your Lord and savior. Plus the importance of having a loving relationship with all of the trinity and angels of God. We also have to understand we could not pay the ransom ourselves, Jesus our redeemer paid for our ransom, By Him going through all that torment and even dieing for us, released us from the slavery of sin, there are many people that don’t even realize that they are a slave to something like sin. Plus the fact if we continue to sin and not be or live as a Christian we will never make it into heaven. The disciples thought that Jesus was on a different kind of mission, this time, the first time, He comes to the earth most people believed that Jesus would free them from Rome or the Romans and their conquering attitude. Saving them from the slavery of sin is a much greater accomplishment, which no one truly understood, when Jesus comes back there will be a different attitude Jesus will have. The biggest confusion was- as people were watching what was happening- they had no idea He was giving up His life on purpose, everyone or most people thought or still think He failed, or He didn’t have the power, you see people did not believe in Him because He didn’t get down from the cross, when He did have the power and He could have had many legions of angels fight for Him. They figured if He was the true Son of God He could have saved himself, but all the prophecies was written about why and how Jesus had to suffer to save so many other lives, and the plain people just were so confused and had that attitude of not even caring about the future. And Jesus was going around healing and helping all types of sicknesses and diseases and even took out unclean spirits that were in people, plus raising people from the dead, plus the fact of making wine out of plain water, walking on the lake during a storm, being able to settle the winds and rain and weather. Jesus did so many signs and wonders the disciples new He was the Son of God, but look at Thomas one of His own disciples who lived and ate and walked with Him for years, he would not believe unless he could see the holes in his wrists and the hole in His side. That was at the resurrection not many of the whole group really believed until they saw him alive after he died and walked out of the tomb. The guards were paid off to lie, and the Jews were so jealous they could not put two and two together to figure out that Jesus’ mission was one of peace, and to die on that cross, and all these people and Romans thought they had the upper hand- but at no time anyone of them did- against Jesus, couldn’t the Jews understand the prophecies? All those things that were written were written about Him. Jesus Christ would come into this world as the son of man, and saved more souls and lives and healed more people then anyone in the world. The devil was corrupting there minds, also, plus all during the Old Testament, the people kept messing up with idols false gods, gods made of wood , gold, silver, trees etc. And God got mad every time, and that is why Jerusalem had so many battles, fatalities, then the exile to Babylon and they burned down the city. If they could not believe in the words of God, why and how could they have any false graven images all over? Remember Laban the uncle of Jacob: he had double door shelving with all kinds of gods, and Jacob he tricked and was lied to, after 14 years of working for him, he finally married Rachel and had Joseph. And Jacob devised a plan so he didn’t walk away empty handed with no money after all that work for 14 years, even though Laban was trying to hide the principle goats and sheep, Jacob still came out ahead because how he communicated with God, and ended up having a heard of spotted goats and sheep. Why and how could they even have figures of gods near the palace and the temple, God was furious. And even with the words the people of Israel didn’t even pick the whole story or scenario of why the Messiah came to the earth.
He was there dieing and the goodness poured out of him into fellow believers, and their lives were being saved from the slavery of sin. Jesus did more good when it seamed to others He was helpless, and at all the time he had the power to stop the Romans or change anything He wanted to do. If he wasn’t the messiah who was He doing all these signs and wonders? The Pharisees, the Sadducees, the Sanhedrin, and the scribes or teachers of the law, what were they thinking? They were not stupid, they were intelligent, but maybe God made it to a way they could not understand, like what Isaiah the prophet wrote- and the Holy Spirit spoke to the fathers. This is basically the same but the original writing was in Isaiah 6, I was going to use the verse in Acts, why don’t I do them both: in Acts after the verse 28:25 we will print out Acts 28:26-27 26Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: 27For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Here is the original where Isaiah had a vision of God 1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 6Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. 8Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. 9And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. 11Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, 12And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land. 13But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, {lime tree} and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof. [Isaiah 6:1-13] 18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: [1 Pet.1:18-19] A slave was freed when someone would pay money for his or hers freedom. The real freedom: God redeemed us from the tyranny of sin, this time no money was used- but something far more precious: the blood of His own Son. { 6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7For he that is dead is freed from sin.} [Rom.6:6-7] {20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.} [1Cor.6:20] {13And you, being dead in your sins and the un-circumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;} [Col. 2:13-14] {12Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.} [Heb.9:12] We have to understand that we can’t break away from sin on our own power: only the life of God’s Son- Jesus Christ can free us. This whole idea of the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins was not an after- thought, after the world went out of control, the plan was set in action long before the world was even created, The thing that gets me is that the Jewish believers found it to be a relief to know about the coming of Christ and the whole plan of salvation, was planed by God long before the world even came into existence, This gave them assurance that the law was not being done away with, because it just didn’t work. God’s eternal plan which some figured out that the law and the coming of Christ was set in motion long before anyone was born. “And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain. For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.” [1Sam.12:20-22] “And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?” [Deut.10:12-13] “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.” [Ex.23:25] “And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.” [Deut. 11:13-15] “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” [Joshua 24:15] “And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.” [1Chron.28:9] “Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.” [Deut.13:4] “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” [Psalms 100:1-5]
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” [Rom.12:1-3] “But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.” [Joshua 22:5] “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.” [Rom.12:10-13] “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” [Matt.6:24] “Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.” [Ecc.11:9] “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. [Matt.4:10-11] “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” [Rom.7:6]
"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.".[2Cor.5:21]
