Good morning everyone from Hawaii and throughout the world, Let us all Praise Jesus that we have another day of worship, and caring and loving in spirit and in truth, You all know that I have wanted this church to be as close to bible as I could, that is why we call it the church, I originally named the church, The Church at Hilo, just like in old early days were they didn’t have any denominations only the church, like the Church at Galatia or the church at Philippi, or the church at Antioch were the disciples were first called Christians, it was always the church at a location, also there were mentions of the church of God, and the church of Christ, which are still used today, but there wasn’t back then any names of churches that we here of today with all the different names and different slogans, or particular word presentations, were the name itself could cause separation, individuality, or divisions of the true church of Jesus Christ. Then I found that old church right down the road where I live and where the church office is in Papaikou, and I was planning to open up that for worship, but then again we had a minor difficulty’s with that situation, you can see the picture of that church on our second sermon, so I also realized that maybe we would be moving, and maybe branching out to the other islands. We still want the mission downtown also, so we just changed our plans, and ideas on The Church Ministries which would basically cover all the bases, and still keep it biblical and a non-denominational Christian Church. Plus we wanted to branch out even more, with the food serving ministry, and healing ministry, and music ministry, downtown where we would be right in a good location to help the poor and needy. But then as you all know and read in all the prior sermons, that my health has been afflicted since November 13th, and I am slowly diminishing, and we only opened up the church website on August 27th, so we are relatively new. But during my affliction and therapy, we polished and built the website with a very active world wide prayer network. But once I am healed by the Lord, the Holy Spirit will come upon us just like in the book of Acts, and our love for people will be a hand on, face to face church. I cannot grumble we have grown to be a beautiful church, with many values on evangelism, and discipleship. All of the church itself has all been built by the influence of the Holy Spirit, from the Love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the power of God.
God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God's generosity can flow through you. Are you called to be a speaker? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then God will be given glory in everything through Jesus Christ. All glory and power belong to Him forever and ever.1Pet. 4:10-11Yes God has given us different gifts and different ways to communicate, and special ways to try and help others, I wish this whole world would like to assist others, with prayer, love and compassion. Some of us try, and some of us don’t even know the power of God, or don’t even know the Lord. But to send out our caring thoughts, and our sympathy, to let others know they are out there with them. To gather all the feelings through the Spirit and then direct them to others to help when the time is needed. I pray and hope for all complications that we all go through, some more than others, and some even compounded together with various obstacles, I pray for a great peace, with grace and sincerity that your life will all come together, with healings and comfort, and an inner harmony with our Lord. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14:18. God will never leave us alone, although sometimes we feel that we are, sometimes we feel that there isn’t anyone in this world that fully understands what we are going through, but the Lord hears all our hearts, and He knows what is traveling within our minds, so we might not have a person right there, or a friend to hold and break down and cry with, or just some one to listen for a few minutes, there is always Jesus, He is there, and always will be. He does talk, but we have to listen very openly, we ourselves have to listen, it may not be a voice, it could be just the beauty of the shifting clouds, or the way the wind blows, or it may come from something else, a letter, a gift, an email, a group of flowers that have just bloomed, to show you a certain beauty that everything will be all right. But we have to look for the signs, the effects we sometimes take for granted. We know He is there, and He can answer in all different ways if we become patient and calm. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 God is so awesome and sometimes we are getting hit with evil, getting hurt physically, with suffering, or mental torment, but this things are only temporary, we have a whole life to share in the next life to come, we tend to worry so much about this short time we spend on this planet earth, we must look to the future and the joy and gladness we will receive, when we can do all we can for others now. We strive to have hope, we want the best for our family’s and loved ones, so we just keep on praying, asking, and knocking, and all things will work out for good to those who love and believe in the Lord and His people, to live with forgiveness, and understanding of others, and then all things will be added to us. But you, dear friends, must continue to build your lives on the foundation of your holy faith. And continue to pray as you are directed by the Holy Spirit. Live in such a way that God's love can bless you as you wait for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy is going to give you. Jude 1:20-21.
I have a medical update, my pick-line was pulled out last Friday, I saw a specialist on the 9th, hoping to get some answers, but now I have realized I have TMJ in my jaw joints, in which I had to receive many shots right into the bones and joints on the right side of my face just below my ear, because I haven’t been chewing in 7 months. My temperature is still up there, and I am very weak and I am still losing weight. I think I need more therapy, or another doctor should try another, antibiotic. I might have to fly back to Honolulu to see that same doctor or another of the same caliber, and get another opinion. I received an email prayer from a woman that received a blessing from her same experience, and it took several antibiotics to find the right one to knock out the infection. I know the Lord has a blessing out of this for me, but all we can do is pray, and to have complete faith and to lose ourselves, and concentrate on the Word and the direction of the Holy Spirit.
Dear Heavenly Father, We love you, and we love your son Jesus, and we love the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, We are all here today to worship, and praise your name, we fully want to devoted to you, this day and every day, to learn your Word, and to guide us all through eternity, to help and to heal all that are with us today, We want to be close as we can to you, and within this opening prayer we want to open the doors of our hearts, and we need your help to forgive us of all our sins, and to maintain love and forgiveness with all our brothers and sisters. We cannot do anything without you, we fully need you to hear us, and ask for mercy of all our mistakes and our wrong choices that we have made. Please send You’re Holy Spirit amongst us all this day, and come upon us in all in our homes and different places, with power, and a holy anointing where this sermon will be heard and read. We all praise you, and worship you with our hearts open, in spirit and in truth. In Jesus Name, Amen
Please open your bibles to Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Heb. 11:6 NASB
What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. Heb.11:1 NLT
By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Heb 11:3 NASB
Well church family, that is what we all need, is faith we need not only to please the Lord but if our faith is week then we will not be going anywhere, in life and in death. During my affliction I myself have been going through hard times and each day gets harder and harder, I know some days I am under extreme attack, and I just have to rebuke it, and draw closer to God, and some days I am so upset, because it does become a heavy burden, the mornings are the hardest for me, I am to week to go anywhere, and I get these flashes of facing death, I know I must concentrate on the Lord and the Word, because that is our spiritual food, and I know that I am being hammered by everything evil under the sun.
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10 NASB
And I must admit, I used to be very athletic, and I used to work out for many hours at a time, and I would always feel better afterwards. I realize that the Lord has striped me of all self pride to make me a better person in the end, I really don’t believe that the Lord will let me die just like this, I believe that this is going to work out for good, and I am not the type of person that seeks rewards, I know maybe I should. But I like myself the way that I am, I don’t love God for a reward, I love God because he is there, and I believe he is there, and I do try to follow the Holy Spirits leading, and I have always loved God ever since I was a small boy, I always talked with him even when I was about 4 years old. I didn’t have a Christian family in fact I was one of those small children from a broken home, and I had all these dreams of wanting to be the best at something, but I never achieved it.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.1Pet. 5:6-11 NIV
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice--the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is. Rom. 12:1-2 NLT
In sports I had a chance, football and track, but I got injured and all the future scholarships were lost, I ended up in a college I didn’t really want to go to, and I didn’t even enjoy that part, I was very smart, but I didn’t at that time want to apply myself. I wanted to travel, seek knowledge, and learn about people, and see the world and I didn’t get to know Christ until a few years later, until I was driven to the ground, lower than I have been, but the Lord did that to save my life on earth and my life eternal, I would have never settled down enough to hear Him, and then I became a Christian, and most testimony’s work out that way. But I didn’t have that particular relationship with Jesus, I believed, my attitude and actions were Christian, but God had me go to a special type of school after that, a school of travel, and learning about people, people of all walks of life and in all different cities and towns.
You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,
but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2Pet. 3:17-18 NASB
I did get to see a lot of what God made, I saw the most beautiful parts of this country and in Canada, and I loved the mountains, I would have turned out to be a mountain man, but I could not ever live in the cold, the mountains were so beautiful and you could only go and visit them in the summers, but they were captivating, I have seen the most beautiful parts of this USA, and I enjoyed camping and mountain walking, and exploring, not just the areas, but the people that dwelled in all these different places, and I did learn so much from all of them, that is why my discernment is my greatest gift, I have been around so many people in so many different places, that I could smell and almost feel danger miles away. I have also explored the deserts and they have there own beauty, just like the swamplands, they all have a particular beauty within each area, and at that time I was full of faith, I knew I could go anywhere and work here and there and then go on, but then the Lord said it is over, and I went down again to nothing, but he put me into the ministry, and a place where I could start reading the word, studying, having bible groups and study, then I was gung ho for the word, and I was living in a setting were I would have devotions and prayer every morning, and was able to listen to a different preacher every day.
From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. Rom 1:20 NLT
But the years after that I fell into the world of trying to be the best at a career, I was so close to preaching way back then, and it would have been only a matter of weeks, and I ended up 3,000 miles away, and I wasted to me all those years, I still read my bible but I was reading more about my career and trying to be the best at the game, which is the total opposite of what I should be doing and thinking, and portraying myself to be. And then the Lord took that away, and all I could do is go back into the ministry, go back to school give up the career of trying to be the best, and tying to make big amounts of money, it was all the world and I fell into it.
Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. 1John 2:15-17
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do. 2Tim 3:16-17 NLT
I got back in the word and went back into school and then I graduated, and continued on with many other correspondence courses. Then I sold and gave away everything I had that I could not carry, and boxed many boxes, and planed to come to Hilo, Hawaii to build a church, and then this affliction hit me and then now I am at the mercy of staying in the house and not being strong enough to go anywhere, but I am putting my time to good use, I became involved with all kinds of prayer networks, and the prayer requests, just come straight to church computer email, plus emails come strait in from the church, and more and more people are responding with miracles and wonders all unbelievable healings.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2Tim. 2:15 NIV
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Col. 3:24-25.
Don't ever forget those early days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering. Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule and were beaten, and sometimes you helped others who were suffering the same things. You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail. When all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew you had better things waiting for you in eternity.
Do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. Heb. 10:32-36 NLT
As the time has and been going on I have been up against so must spiritual warfare that my faith to me has been weakening, and I began to comprehend that. But I must speak the truth. This is a bible truth church; and I must stay in the Word to have the elements to fight. But even that at this particular time, my studying hasn’t been the same, I used to spend hours in the word, now my concentration has been different, and each time I go to a different doctor I get let down. So as I pray, I may have fallen into the areas of John 10:10 and I have been reading over and over the about the good Shepard in the same chapter and I know that Jesus hears my voice and I know that I am being lead by him but I know I am in a intense battle.
So Jesus said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
"All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
"I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. "He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. "He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep. “I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. "I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd. "For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. " No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father." John 10:7-18 NASB
It is how we handle this suffering; I can not lose my faith that is all I have. Faith is the strongest part of my life but I feel I am up against many obstacles, I should not fear, we should all take back what the devil is trying to steal from us, and we also know by our faith we can mount up as wings of eagles, above all the clouds of darkness, that soar over the land of regular knowledge and reason and we travel to the everlasting light that knows no shadow, flowing into our lives with a peace and tranquility from the Hands of our Father, There is a lot of people out there that object to Christianity, because it requires faith. Everything we do in this day the way we think the way we act requires faith. What ever needs that are wanted it requires faith, we all know without faith we can do nothing, that is why the Word of God builds our faith by hearing.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Rom 10:17KJV
That is why we live by believing and not by seeing. 2Cor.5:7NLT
That is why it is so important to read the Word and this way the Lord can strengthen us, and we will be able to take back what the devil has stole from us. We all know when a calamity hits, we all begin to lose faith and then doubt sets in. We are only human in the flesh, but we must walk by faith not by sight, sometimes we have to get rid of our normal senses and just rely on our faith in God, if we don’t then our whole basis of our Christian values are worthless. We are all sinners and we have to realize that God through grace has provided a cure from the compensation of what Christ has done for us. Truth itself can only be trusted and acted upon through faith. How can a man fly across the world in a plane unless he first climbs aboard? That is why we must continue and gain greater strength through faith, how then are we able to please God? No matter what we are up against we are to remain strong, and to fight the good fight of faith.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.2Tim. 4:7-8
God is never going to let us down so we can’t give up or let the devil steal our faith. We all have to admit there could be no salvation without faith. All through the gospels it was always there own faith that cured and healed each and every one of the people Jesus touched or prayed for. So we all must maintain our faith, no matter what the extremes, or we in ourselves will spiritually die, if we don’t have faith about heaven, how can we expect to go there. Without faith there won’t be any healings, without faith, and no miracles, without faith, no victory.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.
Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1John 5:4-5
I know within myself I have taken on some heavy loads, and I know that the evil one looks for the cracks in ourselves, like when we sin, the accuser goes up to God and says there you see, your loved one just sinned, and it opens a door to sin and lets the evil come right on through to steal our faith away through some implant within our mind. The devil has been studying us for 6,000 years and he has had a chance to fully know what will, or will not affect our faith. So how can we please God without faith, no matter what the extremes, the devil will use my health and loss of nutrition as a weakness, to attack and open doors of my past, to make me troubled, or distressed, I have lost a lot of faith in doctors, but I cannot loose faith in our awesome God. I keep pressing on. Our faith is far more than just an acceptance of certain teaching; faith is more than just believing. A person can believe everything in the bible, from cover to cover and yet still be lost in faith. Our Christian Faith is a particular heart trust in our Savior our Lord Jesus Christ, it is within our hearts including our will stand firm, and the action of it will follow.
To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some. 1Cor. 9:22 NASB
And now the prize awaits me--the crown of righteousness that the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that great day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his glorious return. 2Tim 4:8 NLT
Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one." John 10:25-30
In closing I wanted to add in these last scriptures that, Jesus does have the power to forgive our sins and he has the power over life and death, I want to explain that in this last passage no matter what happens we have two hands upon us, both the Fathers hands and Jesus’ hands. Don’t forget whoever believes in our Lord Jesus cannot take away our spiritual life, no matter what we are up against here on this planet earth, it is what we do here that counts, If we tend to loose some of our faith, through some sickness or other calamity, those things are normal, we are of the flesh and we are all human. Yes we have to put up a fight to stay right with God, and we have to have faith to please Him, we have dedicated our lives to Him, and if we get hurt and our hearts grow troubled at times, and some doubts set in, I don’t believe the Lord will cast us out of heaven. We have two hands upon us, and they are one, and nothing can snatch us away from Their love.
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for letting me preach another Sunday, I admit it has been harder and harder each week, Please heal me O’Lord.
