There are so many variations to the history of Fathers day, but we at the church will spread it all out, Sonora Louise Smart wanted a special day to honor her father, which later her name became Mrs. John Bruce Dodd. When she became an adult she got the idea in 1909 listening to a sermon on Mothers day, her father William Jackson Smart, was a civil war veteran, and took care of the six children, one a newborn in which his wife died giving childbirth in 1898. He was a kind and selfless man, and raised the children on a rural farm in eastern Washington State, and though the history, Sonora held a deep love and honor for her father. At that time in 1909 in June, she went up to a preacher and she wanted him to preach a special service and on June 5th which was her father’s birthday, the minister was not ready, but on the 19th he did a special service for fathers, The First recognized Fathers day was on June 19th 1910 in Spokane, Washington. By 1916 President Woodrow Wilson approved of the idea, and in 1924 President Calvin Coolidge put it into effect as the third Sunday in June. By 1966 President Lyndon Johnson signed a presidential proclamation declaring the 3rd Sunday of June would be a celebration for all fathers, as “Fathers Day”. There were also a lot of other facts, but this is the best through all the study we came up with, some say that William’s first name was Henry, other information related says that, Fathers Day started in a church in West Virginia in 1908, Others say the president of the Lions Club in Chicago was an addition to establishing Father’s Day, he gave speeches around the U.S. spreading the need for Fathers day, Some other references called Sonora, Mrs. Bruce John Dodd. Also the flower as early as 1912, for Fathers Day, was a white lilac. What we do know now is the traditions; you wear a red rose if your father is alive, and a white one if your father has passed away

Good morning everyone, from all the world, from Hilo, Hawaii to around the globe. This week I had to see the doctor on Friday the 19th, I had no time to talk with anyone and the Post office- it was closed, and the number I sent to call anyone from Wilkes Barre Data Operations Center was closed- and I had to pick up my prescriptions before 12 on Saturday, then I had to go to the Post office- but by the time I got out of the Doctor’s Friday I could not send an express mail it was way after 5 pm. After walking to the pharmacy on Saturday I could not make it at all to the Post office. I was sweating and scared of trying to make it down town, I was two exhausted, I figured I could make it- but I should have known better that I can’t go out two days in a row. I felt it coming back from the pharmacy Saturday, all I could do was lay down. And Saturday was the day I write the sermon, but there was no way that it could be done. My body was totally exhausted, I began getting scared because I wanted to send the whole list of every doctor’s appointment from 6-07’ till now, that was impossible. I could not even sit up. I did get the list, on Friday the 20th, but I could not get anyone to even drive me to the Post Office on Saturday, and they are only open from 12:30- 2:00pm. I didn’t even know if I was able to fax the last part of the information if it was needed at all. I sent all the information in the express box that cost 17.50 on Saturday the 13th to The Social Security Administration, Wilkes Barre Operations Center, at P0 Box 4550, Wilkes Barre, P.A. 18767-4550,- ED 994435635 US- I told them would send the total list on the 20th express but I was to week to even get down there Saturday, of course I can’t do a sermon today, I sat there and shook because I didn’t want to die trying to get downtown but when I talked to Nora (Honolulu) during the week- she said as long as I filed in the boxes I was ok. And that was done. But I talked to a man before her- and didn’t get his name, he wanted every date and every prescription from 6-07 to now, I figured he wanted the doctors appointments also from 6 -07 till now so I was planning to send it express mail on Saturday the 20th, but I could not walk down there, I would have had a heat stroke or something real bad. So I figured I would wait till Monday where could talk to someone, I even tried the website but I was lost. So Monday the 22th, would only be less then two weeks I got the form on Tuesday on the 9th, this whole thing destroyed 2 sermons and I don’t know how many lives I would have saved. But this whole episode could have all taught us a lesson in Faith. So I will call that number in the morning Monday, to see what I should do, I have every appointment since before the June 06 till now, I don’t know if I should express mail it or fax it. I don’t want to waste time. I have been upset since I first received this letter or questionnaire. I have to walk everywhere and hitch-hiking am a hard time, the attacks keep coming, and the devil wants me dead. So I pray that I get Nora again and explain to her what the situation is going on. So of course I can’t write a sermon, but the most important thing is Jesus, So I wrote what I could on Sunday and to tell everyone on request of what He has done for us- to say His Name “Jesus” over and over, all the saints have said Jesus over and over again, some have bore holes inside their skin the word of Jesus from the forehead to the hands to the chest, many of the saints wanted to express there love to Jesus and what He has done for us, if you repeat Jesus over a hundred times you will notice that the room will be filled with “Jesus” and healing can be performed, many famous healers repeated the Name Jesus and that is all they said and the patient was healed. If you need to be calm just repeat the Name of Jesus over and over, that will be our sermon today, and that is all I have the strength for. But try it Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, you can’t go wrong. Say it any time you get, anytime you’re being attacked, anytime you need Him just repeat the Name Jesus over and over. This is true and sound doctrines try it yourself over and over, if you have a pain somewhere say the Name Jesus over and over. All day if you want to, you will notice the change.

Dear heavenly and gracious Father, we all love You, and your Son, and the Holy spirit. Please help all of the prayer efforts that have been mailed this week, please help all the people that are suffering, and in mourning, and trying to work out some type of burdens, and please help those who need You. Please guide us down the road of righteousness; please continue to guide our paths to lead us to the Kingdom of Heaven. We thank everyone that has come, and to here, read, or listen to your Word of life, please give them, and us all a special anointing through the Holy Spirit. Please grant us grace and peace, to bring us closer in Christ, not to become weary in our service for you O’Lord and Your people. Please give us that great light so we don’t need to struggle, and not be blinded by the darkness of evil. Please let us all remember the ones that cannot work the sick, the aged, and the ones who cannot find work. Please help the children of all the related families, and to hold all our hearts as one, as You and Jesus are one. Please forgive us of all our sins, please hold us up this next week, as we try to live in this world but not to be a part of it, or care about the accomplishments and the possessions that goes along with worldly living. Father please use your gentle quietness to settle our hearts and minds, for the families that have to be separated at this time. Please hold all of them up with grace upon grace. Thank you Father for helping us all to complete this Sunday sermon, until next week hold us all in your righteous right hand. Please protect, and touch the ones that have been calling out to you O’God, please help us to get through another week with your loving peace, and please shower us all with blessings, even though we still are of a fleshly nature, and some of us feel unworthy, we are all sinners, please with your great love, be there for us and with us all. We Love You , we want to honor you in spirit and truth, thank you for hearing our prayer, In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen.
