Amos was a shepherd and fig grower from the southern kingdom (Judah), but he prophesied to the northern kingdom (Israel). Israel was politically at the height of its power with a prosperous economy, but the nation was spiritually corrupt. Idols were worshiped throughout the land, and especially at Bethel, which was supposed to be the nation’s religious center. Like Hosea, Amos was sent by God to denounce this social and religious corruption. About 30 or 40 years after Amos prophesied, Assyria destroyed the capital city, Samaria, and conquered Israel (722 B.C.). Uzziah reigned in Judah from 792-740; Jeroboam II reigned in Israel from 793-753.
Good Morning everyone from Hilo, Hawaii to the rest of the world, my virus seems to be getting worse, it still is unknown. I seem to be getting weaker and weaker, just a walk will exhaust me. The days I had to go downtown for my prescriptions just about knocked me out. One day is enough but when you in a hurry and forget the umbrella, and walk back up the hill in the rain and then I had to make it to the store before it closed. No one would give me a ride, either way; here I am wearing a suit jacket nice shirt and a cane, nice pants, boots- I looked like a normal respectable person that had some kind of problem with my leg or back, which you can plainly see by the cane. No one would pick me up; here I am upset in a rush to get to the Post Office, before it closed- to hand in my taxes. I had to get to there and the bank, I almost had to run- but that was out of the question. Thank-God He was right there with me, I had a full 5 minutes. Normally I always get a ride, but this day was unreal. The whole week was full of stress, and the looking through the second hand stores is one simple joy I have, and I get to talk to the people that work there. But they were closed or the two big ones were closed, and a few of the small ones were open. And walking “almost crawling” up the hill was unreal. I always have gotten a ride home, but not that day. I had to walk because it was getting dark, and you never get a ride when it is dark. No mater how hard I prayed, I just didn’t get a ride. I had pain every where, it was just one of those days. And I usually get home and work on the computer. All I did was sit down and imagine through my mind of all the cars that passed me by. It is a lot different on this island for hitch-hiking, normally I get a ride right away, people can see the cane, they know I am having trouble walking and a ride would help me, all over my body. I always picked up hitch-hikers; I always wanted to help others. I guess everyone was in a hurry. I remember when I was driving I took a 6,000 mile tour of the states, plus checking out all the National Parks and camping out at all different places of beauty. I had a VW van and picked up every hitch-hiker along the way, it was my friends van and it didn’t matter what route I took, I was more or less the tour guide, I ended up picking up about 36 hitch-hikers the whole way, plus a guy from France he stayed with us all the way, he got out somewhere in L.A. and had a free ride and saw much of the beauty of the states. At least he would have some good stories to tell his friends when he got back to his country. You see that is the way I am, even when I first got here I picked up everyone. Now I just don’t drive anymore, I still can perfectly, but after almost being crushed by a semi, kind of changed my view, I should just get out there and drive. Anyway we are here to worship and praise God and thank Jesus for what He has done for us, all the planning between the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit must have been intense. Just imagine what Jesus had to face, in the last couple of hours of His life- he was sweating blood, because He knew what he had to go through. He did that all for us, so we would have a second chance, and to understand God’s law, follow His precepts, and to become a child of God. Just reading the 4 Gospels could give you some idea what Jesus “The Son of God” did through parts of his life, a God who became a man for us, and suffer for us and even die for us. There is so much that Jesus had done in His life, and as He lived without sin, as He got older he healed all kinds of people, and after He was done, he went up back to heaven to take His seat next to the Father. So we all can have the gift of eternal life. So we still have the spirit of Jesus within our hearts, if we had welcomed Him in. Plus Jesus’ healing powers, and the fruits of the Holy Spirit where handed down to Christians. That is the thing we have to talk (pray) with God the Father, just the way Jesus did, Jesus spent hours in prayer with the Father. So The Church Ministries has so many sermons and links to give everyone a good understanding of Jesus Christ our Messiah our Lord and Savior. We have a prayer ministry, and I hoped I would get better and start a mission downtown, which was my plan from the beginning, Hilo needs a good mission, when I got sick I focused on the website church, and then we became non-profit- and incorporated to a Public Charity. So each week I put up a sermon, and keep it up for the whole week so anyone can use it, we have received many letters of preachers, pastors, and ministers that want me to come to their congregation, they all know that I am very sick so what The Church Ministries does now is educate free anything I can find about Christianity, we pray together, we pray for certain prayer requests, and I keep some of the many prayers on some of the major pages, that anyone can use. Also this way our members and staff and board of directors can meet and discuss what is going on with my life and The Church, it is about 4-1/2 old years now, we didn’t become incorporated until about 2 years ago. We still have a place where you can make donations, but God has supplied this Church with what we needed. We had to struggle at times, but God has been with us all, even people getting healed from emails. You can read most of their replies, there are 7 pages- but I have so many more replies to prayer requests on CD and the computer, that I can make about 4 more pages, when I feel better. One of our Bishop Directors Paul got sick- this came out of nowhere and found out it is leukemia and we all need to pray for Him he is also the Main Director of the SVM, and everyone knows him, and what he has done for the country of India, he has delivered blankets, food, medicine, and even helped build houses for the poor, there is so much he has done for the people, he works like 10 missionaries plus runs the website and the prayer section, and feeding the children, there is so much this man has done, the list is endless, now the evil one strikes him with this. We all need to pray for him for complete healing. We also need to pray for his wife Mercy and three children Besly, Hepzy and Lesly. Our secretary Keith has tried to help someone move a hid-a-bed, and pulled all the muscles in his upper leg, the way he described it was they had to go in there and sew each muscle back to the upper part of his leg, the way he explained it- all his muscles were all clumped up by his knee. So he told me it would be along surgery. So we all need to pray that everything went well. Please help us The Church Ministries-we need your prayers, look at me, and sick for over 4-1/2 years. All we can do is thank God for letting us live and be able to help others. So we Praise Jesus and the Father- plus the Holy Spirit and we worship them with our hearts. I need to write to Joaquim and his wife, Plus Jacob and Daisy. My prayers are with all the staff, members, and all our friends and family.
Opening Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, always, You are our Father, and You are our joy and strength, we are all here to worship You today, to be it as a group, or individuals, with all different hands, holding high to Your Name. Please come upon us with Your peace, and truth, and open up our hearts to all that You want us to do and say. We call upon You Lord to show us direction and guidance, and we ask for the Holy Spirit to come and let us all receive the anointing, with Your grace upon us all.  Sovereign Lord, please be with us, we praise Your name, we all love You, we adore You, and we want to thank-you for being our God. Please be with us this Sunday and in all days, please seal us together as one. We have Jesus in our hearts, and we ask for the Holy Spirit to come upon us also, so we all can be justified and sanctified as one. We all need You Lord, we all want to be close to You and worship You with our hearts and in spirit. We want to escape our worldly attitudes and our carnal minds, and just have Jesus shinning through our bodies in all His righteousness, not ours, with His mind, His blood, and His love, that brightens our spirits on the inside and the outside of these short term earthly bodies. Show us Lord, guide us into what you want us to be, say, and act. Please be in our minds with new thoughts, with a new enlightenment towards how better we can serve You, and build a closer relationship with You and Your Son Jesus. Let us all be at one this day and forever more. In Jesus precious Name, Amen
You learn there are eight ways God heals his children, not just one. Of these eight ways, only one is usually instantaneous. The other seven all require a process. In other words, there is a time lag between the time when you ask in faith and actually receive what you asked for. Once you fully know this, you will not be discouraged by the delay. You will know it is just part of it.
This faith building section shows you that the devil, his people and his demons are more afraid of you than you are afraid of them. You see that they are filled with dread, fear, trembling, and anguish when you come on the scene. They are put to flight at very sound of your name. See Deuteronomy 2.
You quickly discover that the magnitude of your difficulty is meaningless to God. He isn't scared by difficulties. No matter how grave your situation, when you confront it in faith, your victory is sweeping and complete. There is nothing left for you to clean up. The faith war deals a death blow to large problems as well and as easy as it does to small ones.
Stresses emphatically, once again, that the exercise of faith involves a time frame. It is a process that involves time. Once you know this and know what to do during this time frame, your victory is assured. You are a warrior now who is fearless. You have the devil on the run.
In every war weapons are employed. The Faith war is no different. But "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal..." Paul told us. Never the less, we have weapons. Here we center on just one of our weapons of warfare. But just because we cite just one weapon here, doesn't mean we are leaving you wanting. This is the weapon Jesus used. It worked for him. It works for us.
We learn, in this section, how to do what Jesus did. We learn to copy him to the letter. We not only learn what weapon he employed in the Faith War, we also learn how he used it. Then we launch our attacks against the enemy like he did using the same weapon the same way he did.
This section is most interesting. Jesus never did anything apart from doing it by faith. When you get to this place, you will be shouting. You see what we mean by "Jesus always operated by faith." You will also see how to operate the same way he operated. By now the above words will no longer be a mystery to you. You will be fully knowledgeable at this point.

Against a backdrop of divine judgment (1:2) the Hebrew prophet Amos gives a message of hope in 9:11-15. A remnant of faithful believers is spared from destructive judgment of Yahweh. Chapter nine opens with a vision of the temple shaken by the Angel of the Lord which falls and buries Judah and Israel under its ruins. However, instead of being swallowed up by the Gentile nations Israel would be sifted by the familiar to and fro motion of one shaking a sieve (vv. 7-10). God is going to shake Israel like a woman shaking a sifter. The result would be a purging type of judgment but through it a purified remnant would be preserved. The dust and the dirt will fall to ground, and the kernel of grain will be left. She shall be purified from all chaff and impurity.
Amos has two contrasting themes with the dominant subject of Israel's sins and coming judgment in the first eight chapters. However, with 9:11 there is expectation of a restored kingdom.  Cf. 5:3, 14-15. God promised to raise from the fallen nation a new people for Himself (9:11-12) and return the people to the land (9:13-15).
I take these words as genuine words of Amos as John R. Sampey understood them. “When he returned to Judah and wrote out his prophecies, these words of promise and hope formed a fitting conclusion to his bitter denunciation of Israel’s sins.”
Amos is probably the first of the Hebrew prophets to relate the kingdom to the “day of the LORD” (5:18). He expected Israel’s promised salvation to be the climatic event at the end of history.

RESTORING OF THE KINGDOM OF DAVID (9:11-12)

God's promise to David in 2 Samuel 7:16 remains true even in the most desolate of times. The judgments prepare the way for God's mercy and salvation comes only through the house of David. By this time in history it was becoming clear to the prophets that the promise given to David can be fulfilled only in the Messiah. Amos declares in verses 11-12:
“In that day I will raise up the fallen booth of David,
And wall up its breaches;
I will also raise up its ruins
And rebuild it as in the days of old;
That they may possess the remnant of Edom
And all the nations who are called by My name,”
Declares the Lord who does this.
Rebuilding David's Reign (9:11)
No king, past or present, had rivaled king David during the golden age of the kingdom. He was a symbol of greater things in the future. Hebrew prophets had a message of future hope in turbulent times (Ps. 2; 72; Amos 5:18) even though by the time of the restoration there would be nothing left of the kingdom but a “booth,” “tabernacle,” or hut made of branches used for temporary shelter by soldiers in battle. It was a lean-to or shepherd's hut. They were booths constructed of branches and leaves to hide from the weather. Amos sees the repairing and rebuilding of David’s house as a symbol of Israel’s greater restoration. The ancient Jewish rabbis adopted "the Son of the fallen" as one of the titles of the Messiah. Though he does not use the terminology here the kingdom of David could only be raised up through an offshoot from David's family. This can be no other than the Messiah.
Moreover, only God could bring about the revival of the nation as described by Amos (9:11-15). He speaks of the "fallen booth of David" (v. 11). No descendent of David had ruled in the North since 931 B.C. when Jeroboam I led the rebellion.
The "booth" is in contrast to "house of Jacob" (9:8) and "house of Israel" (9:9; cf. 5:2; 8:14). God promises in verse eleven to restore the nation like its golden age. But Amos is speaking of a future spiritual kingdom, not a political one. The Zionist movement would not fit the description.
A descendent of David would be humble and establish a worldwide kingdom (Isa. 9:6-7; Mic. 5:1-5a). The apostles identified Him as Jesus of Nazareth (Acts 2:22-36; cf. Matt. 1:1; 2:6). Jesus began His ministry by calling the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matt. 10:6; 15:24; Lk. 24:47; Acts 1:8; 2:5ff; 13:46; 14:1). The royal palace had to become the hut of Nazareth before the Redeemer of the world could be born.  His glory and kingdom were not of this world but eternal.
The time of the restoration would be "in that day" (Amos 9:11; 5:18-20). It would be a day when God would purge the nation by its devastation. It would be a day of judgment. This occurred in 722 B.C. and in 586 B.C. The remnant of "Joseph" in the South (5:15) survived until 586 B.C.
All of the prophets foresee the Messiah's appearing at a time of the deepest debasement of the Davidic dynasty and total loss of the royal dignity.
However, "the day of the Lord" would also be a day of salvation and restoration. There was a limited restoration when the exiles returned from Babylon under Zerubbabel and Nehemiah 538-430 B.C. But this restoration did not meet the lofty expectations predicted by the prophets.
In Acts 15:13-18 James at the Jerusalem Conference interpreted Amos' prediction of a renewed kingdom as fulfilled in the preaching of the Gospel. He appealed to Amos 9:11-12 and sees its fulfillment in the Gentiles who have believed on Jesus as the anointed of God.
James speaks as a typical Hebrew who affirms from the Hebrew Scriptures that God was taking from the Gentiles a people for Himself. James was quoting Amos from the Greek translation called the Septuagint (LXX). In the Greek translation the “nations” or “Gentiles” (ethne) stand in contrast to the “people” (laos) which usually refers to the Jewish people. God called the descendents of Abraham to be His chosen people (Deut. 14:2). “You are a people (LXX, laos) holy to the LORD your God. Out of all the people (LXX, etne) on the face of the earth, the LORD has chosen you to be His treasured possession.” God would reestablish His King so all nations ("mankind") would have salvation. Jesus brought salvation to Jews and Gentiles alike.
God chose Israel to be His chosen people. At the Jerusalem Council James declares that Yahweh has chosen a people for Himself from among the Gentiles! James uses the Hebrew Scriptures to teach that He has also called the Gentiles to be His chosen people in the full sense that Israel is.
In the end of times God’s people will consist of a restored Israel from David’s “booth” and a group of Gentiles who will share in the same messianic blessings, yet they will be ethnic Gentiles without becoming Jewish proselytes. Of supreme importance is the fact of the preservation of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
God extends His grace to all the nations and then once again He turns to Israel and raises up again the tabernacle of David. "After these things I will return, And I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen, And I will rebuild its ruins, And I will restore it, So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name" (Acts 15:16-17, NASB).
God revealed to the apostle Peter that Gentiles are equal partners in the kingdom (Acts 10-11).

The Extent of David's Reign (9:12)

Why "Edom"? Edom had been a traditional enemy of Israel. No Edomite exists in the world today. We are not told how God will include a believing remnant of Edomites in David's kingdom at the end of time. Here Edom is probably representative of the Gentiles in general in the parallel expression "all the nations.” Perhaps she is representative of the Gentile nations. There is no record of Edomites who trusted in the Lord. James uses a translation of Amos that used the word "mankind" in the place of "Edom." David's dynasty will include people from every tribe and nation.
God would expand the "booth of David" to include Gentile nations. God’s plan has always been to provide salvation to the Gentile nations. It is through Abraham that “all peoples on the earth” would be blessed. Cf. Gen. 12:1-3; 18:18; 22:17-18; 26:3-4; 28:13-14; Isa. 9:1-7; 11:1-13; 42:1-7; 45:22-25; 49:5-7; 55:1-5). When God restores the kingdom under David’s greater Son, both Jews and Gentiles will bear the name of the Lord.
Persons who submitted to the Lord's anointed King would become a part of the kingdom. Therefore, the main characteristic of the rebuilding of the kingdom is salvation provided through the lineage of David at a time of deepest abasement.

RESTORING THE PEOPLE TO THE LAND (9:13-15)

God will bless His people with the same intensity with which He has punished them. Before it was the fierce anger of the LORD melting the mountains, but now the same mountains flows with the wine of the vineyards.

Planting Fields (9:13)

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“When the plowman will overtake the reaper
And the treader of grapes him who sows seed;
When the mountains will drip sweet wine
And all the hills will be dissolved.
The future restoration included the land, its cities, and the return of God's people. God promised to bless the land with an unprecedented prosperity. God would reverse the calamity. The promise is in contrast to loss described in 5:11, 16-17; 3:9.
There will be no more famine (1:2; 4:6-8) because God will provide unending abundance (9:13). The land will be so productive farmer will have to wait for the reaper of finish before he can sow again.
There will be no more war (Amos 2:13-16; 3:11, 15; 4:10-11; 5:2-3; 6:9-10; 7:17; 9:1, 10) because God will establish peace (v. 14). There will be safety and peace (Amos 4:2-3; 5:5, 27; 6:7; 7:11, 17; 9:4) because God will watch over and protect His people Israel (v. 15).
You cannot help but think of Paul's word in Romans 8:19-25 when he says God has promised to redeem His creation. The earth will be restored to the likeness of the original creation. Paul describes some of the wonders of the earth's redemption.

Planting Cities (9:14)

After release from exile they would rebuild the ruined walls and cities. But this could be only a partial rebuilding and fulfillment of Amos’ prophecy.  This is a picture of restoration of the kingdom of David.
“Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel,
And they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them;
They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine,
And make gardens and eat their fruit.
Does the prophet have the eternal reign of the Messiah in view? Many Bible scholars think so. The immediate fulfilment would be Israel’s return to Judah from Babylonian captivity. The ultimate fulfilment would be the reign of Christ and the establishment of His kingdom without end.
The doctrine of Jesus Christ as the Messiah includes the renewal and restoration associated with the true redemption because the historical Jesus is truly the “Son of Man.” There will be a time of messianic restoration and blessing. Amos instills hope in the righteous remnant by reminding them of God’s steadfast love.

Planting people (9:15)

“I will also plant them on their land,
And they will not again be rooted out from their land
Which I have given them,”
Says the Lord your God.
God promised to "plant" the people in their homeland. He promised to prosper the land and the people. It would be a secure land in which the blessing will endure forever. It is a lasting event in which they will never be torn from the land again. God's people will dwell forever in the land He has given them. Cf. Deut. 34:4; Josh. 21:43-45. This would happen only when God established the eternal reign of David's greater Son. The reestablishment of David's throne was fulfilled when Jesus came. The rule of the house of David was a fore gleam of the eternal, universal dominion of God in Christ. Second Samuel 7:13-16; Luke 1:32-33

When did the restoration of Israel happen?

Some suggest it was fulfilled in 538 B.C., 200 years after Amos prophesied. Zerubbabel returned to the land from Babylon with a group to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem (Ezra 1-6).
A small remnant did return form exile and rebuild the city walls and the temple and it was thriving during Jesus’ time, but the civil rule was exercised by Rome and the spiritual leadership was a family of depraved Sadducees and self-righteous Pharisees. However, it was again destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. and therefore was not an everlasting restoration.
Other scholars suggest the modern state of Israel is the fulfillment of Amos. This has come about in the restoration of the State of Israel in 1948. They believe God is committed to the land and the people. However, the modern State of Israel is a secular, non-religious political movement.
Still others see the fulfillment in the church of Jesus Christ. They see the remnant being transformed into the Christian "remnant." The real Israel consists of all the faithful believers from the exile through modern times and into the future.
All of these suggestions have some truth to them but they are only a foreshadowing of the ultimate fulfillment of the promise by the Messiah. At the second coming Jesus will set up His kingdom and reign triumphantly over all the earth. Believers will enjoy the everlasting rule of God.
The Hebrew scholars Keil and Delitzsch wrote: "The raising up of the fallen hut of David commenced with the coming of Christ and the founding of the Christian church by the apostles; and the possession of kingdom and all the other nations upon whom the Lord reveals His name, took its rise in the reception of the Gentiles into the kingdom of heaven set up by Christ.  The founding and building of this kingdom continue through all the ages of the Christian church, and will be completed when the fullness of the Gentiles shall one day enter into the kingdom of God, and the still unbelieving Israel shall have been converted to Christ . . . . This sifting will be first brought to an end through the judgment upon all nations, which will attend the second coming of Christ. Then will the earth become a Canaan, where the Lord will dwell in His glorified kingdom in the midst of His sanctified people."
The last three verses remind us of Isaiah 2; 4 and 11. The Lord Jesus Christ will be enthroned as the King upon the throne of David. God will establish the eternal reign of David’s greater Son. The rule of the house of David was a fore gleam of the eternal, universal, dominion of God in Christ. The ultimate fulfillment of all these passages is found only in the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God.
Just as we are seeing God gathering out from the nations of the world a people of His own Name there is coming a day when He will again work in the stony hearts of His own people Israel (Rom. 11:25-29). Our sovereign God is not through with Israel. A day will come when His Spirit will draw many of the Jewish people to respond to His saving grace. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
When Christ returns He will reign as King of Kings over all the earth. Will you rule with Him in that everlasting kingdom?

Soldiers are paid for serving in the military. We Christians aren't paid for serving in God's military, as it were, but we are paid for actually fighting the Faith
War. In this section we give you a Greek word which means "to give back wages." God actually pays you wages for engaging the enemy and joining the battle of faith. You will be startled here. You can actually "go on God's payroll!" This is amazing.
Your healing is available in the word of God, the Scriptures. To be healed requires some one to act on at least one healing word of God, probably  found in the Scriptures.
Ps 107:20
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (KJV)
Notice in the above Scripture, He sent His word to heal them. He did not send a special faith healer to heal them; he sent his word and healed them. He did not send the elite in the church to heal them; he sent his word and healed them. He did not send a committee to heal them; he sent his word and healed them.
Matt 8:8 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. (KJV)
In the case of the centurion's servant, Jesus sent the healing word even without being there in person. This answers the question about praying for the sick even when they are separated by many miles from the one praying.
Num 21:8-9
8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. (KJV)
In the Scripture above, the word of the Lord came to Moses with instructions about a fiery serpent set on a pole.
From the above, the obvious slams into our consciousness; our healing is in the word of God. Our healing is in the Scriptures.
What you need now is a list of healing Scriptures you can use for yourself and/or your loved ones. You need to know where to go in your Bible for the Scriptures dedicated to healing God's children.

But  the Spirit explicitly says that  in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to  deceitful spirits and  doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 1Tim. 4:1-2
For such men are  false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an  angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. 2Cor.11:13
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 1Pet.2:1-2
I really don't need to write to you about how and when all this will happen, dear brothers and sisters. For you know quite well that the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. When people are saying, "All is well; everything is peaceful and secure," then disaster will fall upon them as suddenly as a woman's birth pains begin when her child is about to be born. And there will be no escape.1Thes.5:1-3
In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. 2Pet.2:3

Closing Prayer
Dear Holy Father, as we come to another day of closing, we realize that we all need you, and that we ourselves can do nothing without you. Some of your children out there think they can, and don’t realize the most meaningful part of our lives is to call upon your name, for all our needs. We need to thank-you, praise You, and worship You for all the planning and configurations, and the love and care You have given us already. We all need to be close to you, more than close, we need to be at one with You from deep within hearts. The only way we can do this is to have You guide us in the proper Holy directions, and we must build our relationships with You in order to know your perfect loving communication. Without the proper bond of friendship with added compassion, how could we possibly be able to hear Your messages. If we aren’t in spiritual tune with pure trust and harmony we would be using our own minds of the flesh, and we will end up living in the dark shadows. We need to live by Your great light. You are our great lighthouse standing tall on a large rock jutting out into the sea, guiding the little boats that are being tossed around on troubled waters, being thrown to and fro from the elements of the deep dark world. You are our strength and our light to guide us through the gushing winds and the rain with a victory over the world. We need all of You Lord, we all humble ourselves before You and ask your forgiveness and we ask for Your help for a deeper part of togetherness, to mold us into a better image of the likeness of You, Father. Then we will know that all things will come together for our lives through eternity, satisfying all our desires, hopes, and dreams through pure faith given from You. Thank-you Lord for all the things you have done and all the gifts that we will be blessed with, the rest of our eternal souls. In the Name above all names, our beloved Jesus, Amen and Amen.
For since we were restored to friendship with God by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be delivered from eternal punishment by his life. Rom 5:10 NLT
For the devious are an abomination to the LORD; But He is intimate with the upright. Prov. 3:32 NASB
The LORD looks down from heaven

Our Candlelight Prayer
Susan Jones - I have not heard from her in a while, she probably got all her mail bounce back when the computer was down.  Susan still cares and I still care and between us both we will kick this infection along with Johan and all his prayers and emails. Susan is having some medical problems I am pretty sure. I will pray all I have for this girl, she has helped me through the years and I owe it to her to bring her a blessing from the Lord, We have grown close to God together. I need to write her to see how she is doing. I need to find the right email she has changed it so many times, I am getting returns I have to find the latest email which may be gone or buried when the emails got all corupted. Sunday's I am exhausted from doing the sermon and getting up and down, so I can write, plus a good 20-24 hours of typing, that is only shortened by the times I have to get up and lay down and straighten out my back all through the night. I owe her a prayer letter and I am worried about her.
2. Johan & Esther, with children Anneke, Jolene, and baby Simeon- Deo Valente Mission- South Africa. Johan has blessed me over and over with emails. He was sending me about 4-5 a day and he is not giving up on me he wants me healed and he believes in me and the Lord. Johan has out done himself -he still is sending me a few emails a day on healing and faith, he is an amazing man. Johan seems to be in some financial trouble and we all need to pray for his mission, he is taking care of 350+ people and they all need to be feed, and helped, I ask the angels in heaven to stand by and help this whole group. Johan has done more for me then anyone human on this website- he has kept me alive, he still writes to me with scriptures for healing and all kinds of stories on healing. And I have not written him back for a good while but he understands how sick I really am, but I wrote him just the other day, and thanked him.
3. Marcella- Living Waters Disciples Prayer Ministry- Marcella is special- she spends hours upon hours praying for people and for me, she is a blessing. I don't know how she stays on line all the time she must be like I was morning and all through the night, praying for so many others, she is a blessing to so many others, I pray I can do more- but I have many of the people on her list now on my list and they are being verbally prayed for-which is about all I can do.
4. Willy and Liz- Local Best friends- Liz saved my life taking me to the pharmacy, and to a few places to pay my bills, and to pick up a few things at the market months ago. I needed to talk to Willie he is like my best friend locally. Willie is a solid good man and he is always there for me, he brought me over some vitamins that I needed, that was a blessing, to help keep me alive, I have been getting sick for more then three weeks, now it is over, and I am wondering what is going on with my body. I weigh 114.8 with clothes on, see what stress and being sick can do. I have not weighed 114 since I was 12-13. Thank God for Willie, he took me to a new church and bought me a bowl of soup after, all we talked about is the Lord and the bible. I thank them both, I could have had a heart attack just the other day carrying a back pack, with things from the store, and I couldn't carry all the bottles of medicine they were just too heavy. When Willie took me to church, he thought I gave up on The Church, the both computers were broken so I didn't stay up all night and I was glad to go, now that I am writing sermons again I can't do both, I am obligated to a world wide audience, that uses my sermons for their own congregations, or Sunday school topics, or simple devotions. Willie thinks I don't want to go to his church anymore, he was let down when I told him not to pick me up, I need the fellowship more then most, and just to get out of the house would be a blessing. I don't know what he thinks now, and he thinks I just don't want to go to his church, but I showed up 2 weeks ago, he does not realize that I can't physically go. So here I get hurt and even sicker because of a broken heart. I wish people would understand how I fight the devil just sitting up all night and share the Good News with the world. Some people just don't understand how sick I am, and how so little local people care, or call me on the phone or invite me to somewhere when I can like Wednesday though Friday. My Church office is like a  prison, and I sleep on the couch all day, everyday, walking to the store which is 4 blocks away is almost impossible now. Willie and Liz came over to help me the other day, so they had a tuff time with my desk, we all did, it ended up breaking- but I put it back together, I know they still care when they left me a few things at the back door. They still get prayed for and I still love them.
5. Karen -  Local Elder Region 2- I sent a prayer letter to Karen, with a hi to Alicea, it has been a while. I feel better now and the computer is working so far about a few days. Those three weeks of sickness was the hardest part of my life. Lately I sent in a prayer request and like a New Years Thank you to all the people listed which is Karen, Alicea, Walter,Sen. Pastor Fred and Suzanne, Eric and family, Tony Z and his trip, Bishop Larry, Fred and Shirl, Hugh Keith and family, Darla, Keith Ratcliff who has suffered a bad injury and he will be under the knife and being sown up every muscle in his groan. I need to sit down and write a letter to everyone, but I want to be healed in some way, or it will sound like I am complaining, I need to bear with what ever I have to face. Everyone is getting prayed for and cared for in my heart, but I just am so sick still.
6. Walter  -Regional Elder Region 2, I am praying and I need to write a prayer letter and introduce myself. I think I did write an email, prayers are with him. I still pray for everyone, I go down the list and hit everyone with a blessing.
7. Bishop Alicea Region 2  Just wrote Karen back with prayer and told her to say hi to Alicea. I also need to write to Alicea, I need to introduce myself to Walter, I have been so sick lately I do not even mess with the computer at times, for weeks it didn't turn on.  Then I was over quota because I couldn't get to the computer to work, then I was to sick to write anyone for 3 weeks and then one day it just went on, and I am too poor now to send it to the shop. I had to spend days deleting all the trash mail that people send me. I must have had a hundred fake lottery emails, and another hundred that want to donate millions with all the same story almost. Then all the prayer requests. Then I lost the whole c-Drive (2 years of data) first, then after that the computer would not work. Then it started to work again, that is how I am able to do today's sermon and last weeks, but now I will sleep till Tuesday, and I don't know how I will feel. I hope everyone understands.
8. Senior Pastor Fred and Suzanne- Kansas I wrote into the boards last week and sent in a poem the other day and Bishop Larry wrote me about buying some things in the Internet store.  I think Suzanne is better, and doing ok, I didn't read any bad news on the boards. I sent in a prayer for myself, and to let people know that I am still sick, but my faith is building so I want to be healed of all the things wrong with me. It is a battle against faith and sickness. Sometimes it does worry me, when I can't do certain things like I used to.
9. Eric Lewis and wife- in California I need to write to Eric, I know he sent something a few months ago but I am not sure I just need to take a healthy day and write everyone. I did talk and pray with him on the phone a while back, maybe a few weeks. We talked for a long time. I need to call again.
10. Tony Z. and his wife wrote me I guess they are still around, they sent me their picture so I need to get back to them, maybe I can call now.  Please help me pray for all of them . I hope everyone is doing OK?
11. Larry- Bishop Larry is another good friend in the ministry, that I need to write more often along with Jacob, they are both so kind to do the things they have done for me. So one morning I sent Larry a nice letter. Larry & Wife needs prayer, and he gets it- he has or had some health problems and two surgeries in the family, I know one went OK but I am not sure about the other? Prayers are still coming, everyday.
12. Fred and Shirl Nero-Florida -Fred had a battle with cancer and I believe he is doing better now. I need to see how he is doing. Daily prayer for them. They both need prayer. And they are getting it.
13. Hugh Keith -wife and family- California- Hugh is another good friend, and a blessing- I talked with him a few weeks ago and I was sick from going out on Thursday, a few weeks ago a he had some kind of food poisoning, he is a great person to talk to- when I get better -I am going to make it up to all my friends. Hugh has been so close to me out of the ministry, I need to call him or write him. Thanks for another letter, and the Easter card and Christmas card I called to thank you, I will call again. He has sent me many letters in the regular mail, that is how I got to know one of my Bishop Directors, he wrote so many wonderful letters, I wanted him on staff. In fact if Vijay does not answer I will ask Hugh for an extra Director He just sent me a beautiful card again, what a guy. So now Vijay is no longer a Bishop Director so I will ask Keith Radcliff, it may be late because I had to make the changes before the first of the year. I still can add Hugh later. He and his family are getting prayer.
14. Darla Izzo and children – California- Darla was in Hawaii and she left my numbers at home so I will give her my address next time. Same with Darla, and her kids they all need prayer, she lost her husband more than a year ago, I wish I could write more, it is this sickness, and I am so weak I don't even go outside. That is why it takes me two days to do this sermon, and I am pushing myself to do this, but I care for everyone and pray for most everyone I know.
15. Keith Ratcliff -Amarillo, Texas- Our new Bishop Secretary- for T.C.M.-Good Friend- He is a real good friend, that has been taken care of- we have had the best communication then anyone, and he says whenever you need- to call, to talk to someone, don't hesitate anytime, I will talk- that is a friend. Keith is a good man and I need to write or call him about his website. He has been a Life saver, and a comforter. He might have saved my life a few times, not just once, there were times there I couldn't hold anything down. And he helped me through it over the phone by constant prayer from 2 to 4 hours- Now he is going through surgery to sew up every muscle in his groan. The mucels are hanging down by his knee. He is such a good man, he lost his wife in his arms over a year ago, but he had a bad surgery to go through like 10 days or more, now I will call the house today and talk to his mom.
16. Bishop Director Joaquim Kalala and his wife- T.C.M. –Angola, Africa. He is a good man, they are all blessed and gifted-----but he helped me when I needed the help with the prayer ministry, it seems he enjoyed helping me, answering prayer requests, and he had a change in his life, and got closer to God. I need to write all my Bishops and tell them we are still on line hanging by a shoe string. I need to contact him again and send him the paper-work (Bi-Laws)if I can get the scanner to work, and get some money to buy some ink. Or if I had the combination machine working I probably could scan the paperwork and send it. That is my next project. Fix the scanner. I have tried but I can not test the machine without ink. Father please help me help Joaquim with prayer for him and his family.
17. Lillian Beal - Minister- Friend -We used to communicate a lot- but not much any more. I need to write her and see how she is doing, the thing is when I am done with this I will not be able to write anyone till at least Tuesday, my body just can't handle it, like when people say come on over, that is almost impossible, unless it is a good day. Near the end of the week. I wish people would just understand how sick I am, and I don't even know what is wrong..There are days I can't move, I just rest, that is all I can do, this past week has been hard 3 days I had to leave and walk and hitch-hike.
18. Bishop Director Paul- T.C.M.- wife Mercy, kids- Lesly, Hepzy, Belsy (Pastor:Director: Salem Voice Ministries) India. I have sent many emails of prayer to the family and to and for the ministry, Paul is a lot like me when I was healthy.I have to send Bishop Paul a letter of prayer he needs it with his family, so many things are going on there and they are not good, he does so much for people, he does the work of about 10 missionaries, he and the family need prayer, I just found out that he has picked up leukemia please Lord protect them- and comfort them- and help them all. My white blood cell count is always high, it seems to be fighting off an infection, what kind is still unknown. That is a major prayer- for the whole family ever since I found out, and his ministry is having a hard time without him, That is one that I think about everyday. I know he will be healed, he is to good of a man to suffer.
19. Joanna- Prayer partner and I have made several calls and a few emails but I heard they are having trouble at there job, her mother and father came up with cancer at the same time in 2 different places. Prayer is a beautiful thing, at times I just lay down and pray for those two. Joanna, is not the same because Randy just died about 5 months ago, I wrote about Randy in many areas, there is a memorial on one of the friends pages, he was so important to me and I really loved them both, and we used to have 3 -way prayer calls. He had just a heart attack waking home, no warning, just happened suddenly. I have to communicate with everyone, alI I can do is keep praying for Joanna and Randy and there families and friends plus Joanna's Mom and Dad's health and a complete healing. I used to take the names and sometimes the stories off Randy's prayers on the boards and add them on my main list.- They both are dear to my heart, we have been Prayer partners for over 4 years now he will always remain a bother to me, and Joanna a sister. Please Bless them both Lord. And help Joanna with the job without Randy being there, when Randy died Joanna changed, she will not write much anymore, and I know what the reason is, [Randy] she really cared for him. I have always loved them both, we had many prayer calls. And Joanna has always prayed for me on the phone for the past 4 years. Joanna has helped my life weather she knows it or not, she might have even saved my life one of those nights I was shaking and ready for a heart attack or a stroke.
21.  Vijay - - India. He was a good friend and he wrote me so many letters in the mail, I can't get a hold of him and we need to communicate, he was one of my Bishop Directors, but I had to change the list before the end of December 31st. 40. Carol and her son Sean- we have forgiven them, and the staff and all the workers we pray daily for. I still don't know why the eviction, we care so- I don't understand why they gave me time limits to get rid of a cat that is loved and put me through the hardest part of my life, I was getting sick every morning, and could not hold down any food, because of the stress I lost 10 lbs easy and I am still losing weight, it was just to much for me as sick as I was, to move and not be able to even pack- talk on the phone-, or even carry anything. It was almost impossible, but then again the last minute God comes to the rescue with family type friends.
41. Mr. and Mrs. Sakai and their two sons, which I love so much. I miss my little buddy, one of the sons. And they are prayed for a lot now, it is a sorry situation. But prayer can help everyone. They also broke my heart, but all I can do is forgive them and pray for them all, I pray for my little buddy for a miracle so he can talk, that is the love miracle we need and ask the Lord for. Plus love and prayer from the move. I hope it didn't hurt them, but I told them what would happen, and how sick I was and the electronics I had to move. Plus they knew I didn't even drive anymore, I love them all, and they are prayed for everyday, with full love and compassion. We had a wonderful friendship, and the devil almost destoyed the Church, the prayer ministry, and some of the weeks of the sermons, which effected many people all over the world. They still remain close to my heart with love and care.
42. Alexander-India-He got his whole congregation together and prayed for my health, with a picture of me they hung up, so each person could pray for someone they know what they looked like- then he got shipped off to a new job right in the middle of India. Don't know where Al is-- he is alone doing some project. But he is another daily prayer person- like Lillian. I wonder if he is still alive, a Christian in the middle of India with no friends is very dangerous, Lord please help him communicate. I did get an email from him and he was glad to here from me. I send him all the blessings I have to give.

44. Kim and Kevin who are prayer warriors- Local -I am always in prayer for them- they have tried with their ministry and seem to be doing well. I need to stop downtown and say Hi when I get a chance. Monday's I am still tired from the sermon, I should be down there praying for others. But it is too much for me on Mondays. I need to sit down and talk to them, and share the gifts I have. They don't even know my gifts God has given me, and the education I have had.
45. Brett - best surgeon in Hilo, I found out he is back, but all the numbers don't answer like he came and went, from like a mash unit in Iraq, and Hilo is light on surgeons, Brett is gone or I just can't find him. He is getting prayer for his family and friends. I had to be carefull moving, I lost 10 lbs over all of this stress. If he heard what I had to do and what I weigh, he would do something, risking someones health over a cat.
46. Herbert , Mr. Kirby of Hilo Dalily prayer for the sons and whole family. He gave me a good deal on a old Kirby. Please bless the family.
47. Pastor George- and wife, Daily prayer every day, plus the children and blessings on the whole congregation. Pastor George has always been one of my best friends along with Pastor Rob. George sat with me during all that pick line theropy and giving myself the bags of antibiotics. And we always had a bible discusion during the days he was always there, then he got that full time job, I just didn't get to see him any more. Niether one knows how sick I am. He does not even know I moved or really how sick I am. The next step is a nursing home, and I am not looking foward to that.
48. Pastor Rob and his wife Susie- and the congregation, I truley miss Rob we need to get back together and fellowship- I am too sick to make it to the Sunday service, but he has no idea I am still sick, people think if you are dressed and look clean that you are doing OK, but that isn't the case I am sick the whole next day, I would like to go but my body can't handle it.  The same with George, Rob- he is also an electrition and he has so many jobs ahead with all his bids, he had to stop coming over. He got so backed up because of the weather, plus Susie had to help him many times on his jobs. My prayers and love are with them both, the same with George and his wife and family. I would like to get together again with Rob and George.
49. Shiigi Drug- Shannon Hashiro, Shannon has always been helpful and always has a smile even when she is busy, she has been a real blessing to me, she always wants to help and knows what to do when confusion hits, she is a real person, with a caring heart and always helpful with kindness. She really stands out, she has the care and the love and the intelligence. Please I ask for prayers for the whole pharmacy, Annette is  always happy and asking me how I feel, with full compassion. I have not seen her in a while. I hope she is doing OK. Plus we have Sherry, Mel, Michael and Terry, and a few I know- but don't remember their names . Everyone has been helpful. I still see everyone the same way, and they all care about people. I pray for Shannon and ask God to bless her for all that she has done for me, plus for Mel he seems concered about me now, he has watched me loose so much weight and just get sicker and sicker, the same with the rest of the staff, my prayers are with them all, and I ask God for a blessing for each one of them.
52. Dr. Conner has always been close to my heart, and we have prayed together for many years now, she is so special to me, she cares and wants me better, she and the staff are so close now and they are being prayed for always and the doctor's mom Ethel. Everytime I visit we pray together she says some prayers with me and she instanly makes me feel better. Mother Ethel We have a constant “Prayer for healing ”we have been praying for Ethel for almost a year now and we are still are at it daily, last I heard she is doing better, I know it hurts Dr. Conner to see her mother sick, but we all have been in prayer, and I don't know how bad she is sufferiing now, we all pray for a miracle healing- By the blood of Jesus Christ, Please help us all to pray for blessings for the whole staff. In the same office we have two girls and they are a wonderful addition to the office, it is nice and calm now, and the girls know what they are doing.  Blair and Stephanie have been a real blessing. They are kind and smart and I feel better when I am there and feel better after I leave the office, even after we go through a few prayers ourselves, the doctor and I. Now we have a new man in the office to help- My prayers are with you all and still praying for Ethel and I know many others are praying also, the prayer line is big, but once you know everyone you can get everyone to pray with and for you across the world. Please Father bless that whole office, and keep them all in good health and we ask for a miracle healing for Ethel, love is the key when you pray for others- deep from within my heart. Dr. Conner is the closest thing to my heart, plus the two girls and her mom, and the new guy if he stays, I pray for them all to be blessed and sanctified.
54. Step Sister Barbara who has (Lupus) Needs a whole bunch of prayer, they told her she was going to die, when we started to pray and she said what ever they are doing keep doing it! Prayer for her son and husband are needed, now Barbara is only facing months to live unless divine healing comes and stays with her, it has been more then a few months and she is still working, but she needs prayer for a complete healing, it is something about her throat. Barbara is doing better my mom says what ever your doing keep it up, so she must be feeling better then a few months ago, it was very serious, but the prayers are helping, please Father I know she is not a Christian but can you make a way for me to be able to talk to her, and share the Good News with her, just in case, Please Lord help me or anyone to help Barbara know Jesus, especially now, I have her number but her husband will not let me talk with her, he probably has been listening to my half brother, and he does not even know who I am, or what I have been doing with my life. These are cridical times, she needs to know Jesus, and I pray that I am able to talk with her.
55. My mom and Leland-Bless them, daily prayer for them both- and a whole thank you for my mom caring about me, she has been sick because I am facing such darkness. But she has done more for me then "everyone put together in the family", but she goes through changes too, she is a blessing to me, she has saved my life many times, I enjoy having a loving talk, to put it plan- if it wasn't for her- I would be dead.
56. Mark, Lil, Gary, Glen, Gail and their husband and wives and children. Bless them all! and a fountain of prayers, to all my relatives, I love all of them but they don't even know Paul. They have no idea how much I love each of them. and how much I love and pray for them, they are family and family should stick together, I have not even spoken to any of the family on my mothers side in a few decades, which is wrong, I tried emailing my uncle, at least he works in a church, but the scriptures I wrote and the story, he just didn't seem to grasp what I was trying to say, basically that I love them and each segment of the family and the children I have never seen,  there husband and wife- I never saw or talked to. That is no way to have a loving family, I love them all, each one of them and each child the rest of my days, and I will always love Gary, Gleen, and Gail (My first cousins)and Gleen got married and now Gail is getting a divorse
57. My little 1/2 brother, his wife and kids- -plus my Dad and Judy-Bless them all, in prayer daily. It is amazing that my dad knows how bad I am doing and I am the only blood relative left, and he would rather play,  with a make believe family then his only blood he has left in the world, all I get to see is pictures, my dad is playing grandpa with people that aren't even blood related, and he is also playing the role of dad with my half brother, and 1/2 sister and their two kids, one girl and one boy, life is set for them, my half brother has more cars then I had in my whole life, and he is not even blood related, it was an accident with my mom having a son with another man, but my dad is doing all he can for that play time family man, with all kinds of gifts and presents. I still pray for all of them and I know I have sent them many blessings of love and prayer, I still would like to put my arms around my dad- so maybe someday my dad will talk to the only blood son or relative he has left. My mom asked for me to call him, he still does not love me, or care, and told me right out that he didn't want to help me in any way, even though I was facing a life or death situation- he thinks I am a lier, he has been lieing about himself and his health ever since I lived with him, and that was over 30 years ago. He takes care of his make believe family, with expensive gifts and showing off at the country club, taking the make believe family to the club and order what you want situation, I can't blame him, he has no family of his own, he cast me away decades ago also, and I am the only living relative, there is no one else left, just me, so if he will not help me in a life or death situation, there is always a chance that God will take away his heart of stone, and change the man with a heart of flesh, and have some love and compassion, with understanding for the future, my prayers are with them all.

She is a jewel, that needs a blessing. She has suffered like Lynne, she went through all kinds of female operations, and other surgeries, she had a rough life, and she has suffered for a long time also, she Loves the Lord. And her future holds many rewards and blessings.
64. Minister-Terry and his wife and children- Florida-here is another (best friend) during those same years, he has never written, maybe because we worship the whole bible, and he and his congregation only use parts of the bible. And will not play any instuments, because they say there is nothing in the N.T. that talks about instuments. "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;" [Eph. 5:19] "a psalm" is a poem that is sung with an instument(s)! I Pray that he understands some day, and I hope he realizes before or if someone gets sick.
