Sunday Service Assembly January 20th, 2008
The Church Ministries
Bible Truth Christian Church
Good Morning to all my brothers and sisters, welcome to our 209th Church Service Assembly, from a small town and one of the most beautiful places on this earth, I thank God that He sent me here to build a mission to help so many others, here in Hilo, Hawaii and the world- but Satan didn’t want that, so he caused me to get an unknown sickness and infection, which causes the halt on the mission and what I have done was put all the strength I have into an Internet Church or Public Charity after we got incorporated and a tax deductible 501c3 non-profit organization. We now have a larger congregation a world congregation, which we receive letters prayer requests and beautiful answers to what they have learned or what the Church has to offer, I have been bombarded with the devil’s full arsenal because he does not want me to write prayers or sermons that are all free that people can use for their own congregations, there is so much beauty in the website but the devil has buried us with so many other Church Ministries, when I first started there wasn’t any The Church Ministries, everyone by know knows the story about the name and how it came about, I was just going to call it The Church at Hilo or The Church in Hilo, but we had to be mobile and more or less movable in case things changed or I got a building in another town or city or even country. The devil has been adding sicknesses to me to stop me from continuing, and there has been weeks that I could not even move, so I received a problem with my back so I could not sit long enough to type out a sermon, so I just get up and lay down or straighten my back, so even though now it takes 24 hours to complete a sermon, and I am sicker for the next few days, but I fought it and didn’t give up. For the first couple of years I would write prayer letters to people everyday so now the evil one has made me almost afraid to write, because of the pain that I experience just using the computer, then he attacked the computer, and then I waited for years till I got the money to get a new computer, then he has broken them down not one at a time but both at the same time so I could not communicate at all, but God supplied me with the finances to get each of them repaired in different sequences, so at least I could continue with the sermons, so then the devil worked more on my physical body, to where all I can do is lie down, he made me unable to chew because of a biopsy that wasn’t needed in the first place, so my dentures don’t fit and then I tried to get them relined with money that I got years later but that doctor threw up his hands and said it was to much for him and didn’t want to numb the whole upper part of my gums, he just gave up and didn’t want to do it for some reason, the devil must have implanted in his mind not to do it, so now I weigh 115 and my immune system is way down because I can’t eat properly or chew, plus the fact I was a body builder that could have competed in the grand-masters over 50 class, after working out for 23 years on and off mostly to stay in shape, and it helped me calm down and helped with any anxiety, so all my muscle weight dropped and caused me to have a double hernia, no one knows why or when it happened. So I had to go in for surgery and I was also playing music for a church which I did on a regular basis, then the sermons took so long I couldn’t do both. I tried but with no sleep it even lowered my immune system even more so I got even sicker till about Wednesday of each week, and I still continued to write sermons and the prayer letters that could not be written from Sunday till Tuesday or Wednesday, it got to a point that I could not stand holding my instrument at church, then they gave me a bench then to a chair then I could not physically carry the bass into the church, so I had to stop that completely, I was just to weak and sick, and of course the pastor was my best friend, and he thought I didn’t want to go to his church anymore, I don’t think he new how sick I really was, so he took it to heart and we lost our friendship- I still love him- and he still is one of my closest friends but he does not understand why I just didn’t go to his church anymore, he didn’t realize I couldn’t physically make it. I guess people see you dressed and shaved and looking good they think you are healthy enough to show up, but they don’t realize what I had to go through just to shave and take a shower, and I really pushed myself- then it got to a point I was just too weak to do that. After the sermon I would just pass out plus many times I would wake up with bruises on my head from passing out on the keyboard, but know one hears about that either- and you’re not going to tell anyone- that would be complaining, so I said nothing. So people formed there own opinions about me- and never new the truth. It broke my heart to loose all my friends at the congregation but no one new why I left, and they still don’t- they would come over and give me bananas off their trees because they would help me with my shakes and help me with my health. But of course I never saw any of them again, they listened to the pastors explanation- I would assume so no one stopped by to even see how I felt, and that more then broke my heart. Then I was back to square one- alone and helpless. I thought to myself out of all those people, no one was even curious to find out what happened and I only lived a few blocks away. Then I met another pastor, and he new how sick I was and he would visit and we would have bible study or just talk about the bible or church history, and he stopped coming over and wanted me to go to his church the same as the other friend, they both are still very close to my heart and I wish they would knock on my door, that would help me and give me a smile and help me with my heath and outlook. I tried the same- I went to a couple of services and I had a ride for me and someone would pick me up and take me home, I would go in and I would get dressed and slept sitting up till my ride came, then I would play the piano as people would come in early –simple melodies that sounded nice, and that pastor was impressed and even felt good that I was there, then I would hand out the programs and greet the people, but the same thing would happen, I would fall asleep in the pew and got a chill because the doors were open, and I said to myself I can’t do this anymore, on top of everything I didn’t even finish my own sermon and it got later and later, I started getting headaches and stomach aches it could have been the two different kinds of non-cancerous tumors inside my brain or just simple migraines, the devil is tricky so I never saw him again and the same thing happened, he thought I was well enough to look good at the services but he didn’t have any idea what I had to go through to be ready for my ride, plus how cold it was in the shower at that time in the morning. He still thinks like the other pastor that I didn’t want to go to his service or I didn’t like his service, I don’t know what any of them thought plus the congregation again I was alone and heartbroken. I couldn’t do both, I tried to do the sermons early like Friday but it never worked out- Saturday was the day I had the feeling and the spiritual enlightenment- I could not change it even today 4 years later. Satan has tried everything to destroy the church or me, or stop me from writing. Even during the times I was going to the gym I would sit with an old pastor that new the history of the town and he explained all the demonic areas- and that just happens to be where I wanted to have the mission. We used to pray together every time we met and I could feel his prayers, then he had a stroke- I visited him in the hospital and prayed with him, the next time I went back he was gone and never saw him again with no address to contact him. I never even saw his son again either and he was a regular like me at the gym. It is like the doctor I saw after the biopsy, he was surprised to see my mouth in the condition it was, he had some idea what was going on inside, and he made it a point to see me one month from that day, he went to India for the holidays and ate something and fell into a coma and never came out of it and died about a year later, and for those months of January I was trying to find another neurologist and no one would take me, then I finally saw two at a special place where all special doctors flew in from Honolulu- one was a brain surgeon and the next could not help me because he didn’t know anything about the mouth. So the second doctor referred me to an infectious disease doctor in Honolulu, and he saw me for a few minutes and ordered me antibiotic treatments asap, so about a month later "full of a basket of nerves by now" I showed up at the building expecting to get an IV and they wanted to put a tube into my vein all the way up my arm inches from my heart, about 2 feet- I almost walked right out of there- "I said you want to do what"? I went into the bathroom and got sick, and I was going to leave and one nurse stopped me and talked to me, she said if I didn’t have this done I would die, so she said do you want to live? Then I let them do it , watching all the TV screans as this tube was being pushed up my arm inside the vein- I went through 6 weeks of antibiotic therapy for something I didn’t have in the first place, and in the hospital records the jaw bone infection was diagnosed after a nuclear bone scan, the doctor that reads the pictures ruled out a jaw bone infection, but nobody looked or read or even cared about his report and I went through all that danger and fear and could not play my instruments and I was a mess after that, my nurse that changed the bandage every week and made sure there wasn’t any infection or my body was not repelling the plastic line in my vein, this was all done so I could do all this intensive procedure myself -3 times a day, and when I told her I never had what I was treated for she almost fell down my front stairs, she was in shock. Then my mouth got worse because the antibiotics killed some of the good bacteria and I ended up with a black tongue. Now I still have an infected tongue. So the devil did everything he could to stop me with The Church, now the devil is trying to take away the complete church, making me move out with nowhere to go because of a cat I had for 4-1/2years with permission, now they want me to get rid of my cat and it is more or less a health sustained cat (zoo medicine) so I might have to leave my place and the office the church prayer room everything, all because of a cat, I have no where to go, I don’t have the finances and I am sicker then ever, now my digestive tract is giving me problems and my heart is giving me trouble and the infection is or could be some type of a staff infection. I am truly sorry that I have not wrote all of you, I have been to sick I have not wrote to many people I have been verbally praying for everyone and I have a major list that I put up every week. As you know all the new information is in each sermon on Sunday- all updates like as if we had a meeting of the minds, but today as I start the sermon I don’t know how sick I will be, I will try to do a sermon and in the announcements I will give updates of the church, that is the only way I can communicate with all of you, if you wish to catch up or know the past or missed any sequence of our revelation, just hit the back button or go to the early services page and start from last week and press each dated link and you will find out my conditions, and how things are going and check the “who are we page” because I had to change the secretary from (Buffalo N.Y.) because our best mutual  friend died all of a sudden walking home and had a heart attack and the old secretary and her parents both came up with cancer at the same time, she was so upset that she said many things that did not sound like herself, I understood, but now I had to chose Keith from Texas to be the new Bishop secretary- today I find out he has pulled all the muscles in his groan and his intestines dropped 6 inches, plus an internal hernia, trying to help someone move, he goes in for surgery for 3-10 weeks Tuesday and he has been in the hospital for the past 3 days, he is all messed up, he has a lump by his knee of all the ripped muscles it is getting to a point that everyone that is close and full of love is suffering. I believe that Jesus Christ is on His way back, there is too much torment going on to Christians, people are getting tormented- tortured and people are destroying churches all over the world. I have also realized that people don’t even keep an open mind any more, each person has his or her own description of the truth and reality, towards Christianity, including myself, I have had so many things that have hurt me, Sometimes- I feel like crawling into a hole with the trinity with me in spirit, I am not perfect and I don’t know everything, but my heart tells me to love all people and I do, I have been so hurt by people, all because the devil is causing confusion to so many others, no one knows how I feel at this time- like I have been for the last 4-5 years laying on the same couch.  The devil comes in and changes things, thoughts thinking- and evaluations of people and they don’t even know it. I see it as plane as day but others don’t even know that the evil is corrupting minds all over the world. At times I feel like shutting down the church, if it wasn’t for the letters I have received I would have closed it a long time ago, and to spend 24 hours every week on a sermon is hard plus you don’t know how many people are using the information, For years I have written sound doctrine and prayer letters and helped and healed many people, I would like to meet someone like me, someone that has felt the pain and suffering I had to go through most of my life, no one knows all the games people have played on me, and all the pain they have caused. God is keeping me alive to tell people truth and the gospel. I pay all this money to keep this church on-line, money I can eat with or go out one day and enjoy myself. I have to fix equipment, I don’t even have a printer that works, because I can’t afford the ink, I can’t even afford to develop the pictures that has been in my camera for about 6 months.  I have realized people try to help but they add their own feelings of what they think are right. And in turn breaks my heart again and again, yes I have been wrong about many things, but people think I am a sinner because I am suffering so much, and there is some people not knowing that the devil is causing mass confusion and controling some people's thoughts and following the devil's confusion and they don’t even know it. If I live on the street I will loose everything and the Church on top of it.  How do I move, how do I pack, where do I go, I should just have the faith that everything will turn out right, and deep down inside I know that it will, but Satan wants me dead, he does not want me to pray for people or write sermons of sound doctrine, I have people just trying to destroy The Church and they are getting away with it. There are so many more stories that involve The Church and my health this is just getting ridiculous I wish I had more time to talk but this is only the announcements for this week, the main thing is we are gathered together to worship our Father and His Son Jesus, Jesus has opened the doors for us all, as a gift to a beautiful place called heaven- He took the sins of the whole world and carried them for us all the way to the cross at Calvary. Jesus is my love and inside I love Him more then anything, plus the Father and the Holy Spirit. We take this time to praise God and to tell Him- He is a good God, a loving God and we need to thank Him for all that He has done for all of us, Plus we have to add our mistakes and our sins, and we have to confess each and every sin to the Lord, plus we have to forgive everyone that has ever hurt me, and boy do I have a list. My dad knows my condition and I am his only blood left and he would rather help a stranger then his own flesh and blood- that has hurt me most of my life. Jesus should be a regular household name- and many bibles in each house may have dust on it like it has not been picked up in a long time, the bible is the key to knowing God better, that is our job, to seek God and to talk to Him. Pray and give Him the praise that He deserves. No one knows everything, each person should some how visualize what each person has to go through, and we all know as it is written [Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.] (2Tim. 3:12 KJV) We are supposed to be persecuted the more we love God the more we will be persecuted and people think that we are living in sin if we have so many bad things happen to us, we should be jumping for joy every time something bad happens to us, but in this world it is hard when you don’t have anyone to agree with your logic and the Word. God bless you, my prayers are with you all, In the love of Jesus, Rev. Paul
Christ in You

I love a mystery. I enjoy a baffling exceptionally well-written mystery.
Authentic Christianity is an inexplicable mystery to many people. That is because Christ is a mystery. Because of our intimate personal relationship with Him we are a mystery to the world. Those who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ will not and cannot be expected to understand the true Christian until they, too, have a saving knowledge of Him.
A. W. Tozer got to the heart of this mystery when he wrote that Christians are crazy in Roots of Righteousness:

A real Christian is an odd number anyway. He feels supreme love for One whom he has never seen, talks familiarly every day to Someone he cannot see, expects to go to heaven on the virtue of Another, empties himself in order to be full, admits he is wrong so he can be declared right, goes down in order to get up, is strong when he is weakest, richest when he is poorest, and happiest when he feels worst. He dies so he can live, forsakes in order to have, gives away so he can keep, sees the invisible, hears the inaudible, and knows that which passes knowledge.

Christians are meant to be different, and we are in good company.
Can you imagine Christ in all His glorious riches actually dwelling through His Spirit in our lives right now? God’s goal is to make us in all respects just like Christ. God is at work. He is sovereign. He is busy changing lives and the way He does it is a mystery.

TELL ME A MYSTERY

The apostle Paul even said that Christ is God’s mystery (Col. 2:2). The good news we share with the world is “the mystery of Christ” (4:3).
Paul uses the word “mystery” not as we do in our day, but in the context of his day and age. The word “mystery” in the Scriptures is a secret, a truth undiscoverable, except by divine revelation. It is a fact that cannot be understood in detail without divine help. It cannot be known by natural abilities and mental powers. It was a truth that was hidden in the counsels of God down through the ages and generations until God in His grace chose to make it known to mankind by divine revelation. The apostle Paul says, “the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations; but has now been manifested to His saints” (v. 26). It was concealed from angels and men until God revealed it. The only way of knowing this “mystery” is through a self-revelation of God to man. God revealed a great mystery to the apostle Paul. God made it visible or known to man.

If Paul has in mind the heathen use of “mystery” whose secrets were kept confined in a strict narrow circle of initiated members of their society, then he tells us that the Christian mystery in Christ is just the opposite because it is fully declared and proclaimed in the open to every one in the world. God has revealed His deep secret to all mankind by means of His special revelation. There are no secrets with God. He has fully revealed Himself in Christ. The deep mystery is that God has granted free admission of all Gentiles on equal terms with the Jewish believers to all the privileges of the covenant. God has now told His secret to all His saints. God’s riches are no longer limited by national ties. God has done this according to the riches of His grace.
The context of this great passage on God’s mystery in Christ is the church as the body of Christ (v. 24). For some it is strange to say that the apostle can “rejoice in my sufferings for your sake.” The apostle had learned the joy in Christ in times of suffering (Phil. 4:4). In fact, verse 24 is a great outburst of thanksgiving to God for the privilege of suffering “on behalf of His body.”

There is a sense of purpose in his experience. “I am filling up in my turn the left-overs of the tribulations of Christ in my flesh.” Genuine Christians are strange, indeed.
Does Paul’s suffering have any atoning value for his sins? No. Do our sorrows have any atoning value for our sins? No, of course not. We do not come adding any virtue or merit to the completed work of Christ. Christ’s work of atonement for sin is complete. It was completed when Christ declared from the cross, “It is finished!” We are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

The Christian’s suffering is on a different level from that endured by Christ on the cross. Punishment for sin is not in view here. The sufferings of Christ alone have atoning value for the sinner. Ours do not. It is part of our stewardship. We suffer troubles, afflictions, tribulations and persecutions because of our identification with Christ (Matt. 5:10-12). The afflictions of the church are also the afflictions of Christ (Acts 9:4-5). The person who persecutes the church persecutes Christ. When believers suffer, Christ suffers.
It is this stewardship as a member of the family of God that he was “made a minister” on behalf of the church. God assigned him the task of fully proclaiming God’s message to the known world. The call of God was to preach without reserve the whole gospel of God to the ends of the earth. Paul now proceeds to tell us about that great responsibility that was thrust upon him and every Christian minister (v. 25).

Please turn your bibles to Col. 1:27
Dear Father in Heaven, please O’ Lord we just want to express our love to You, and we worship You dearly, with all our hearts. We are all Your children, and we want to thank You for this church, and all the members, and all the people who have helped us along this narrow road, to find the true path to righteousness, and how we are all fitted and placed together to make a perfect union of the body of Christ. Please be with us in spirit and in truth, as we worship You in spirit and in truth. Please send Your Holy Spirit to us all that hear and read this message today, we need Your Holy influence of love, understanding, and compassion. In Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen.
THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST IN YOU

In Jesus Christ are summed up everything we can know about God and His eternal purposes. In Christ we see the riches of God’s glory, wisdom and grace (Rom. 9:23; 11:33; Eph. 1:7, 18; 2:7; 3:16; Phil. 4:19).

Christ is a mystery

The gospel is a mystery of mysteries. Christ is Himself the grand mystery of redemption. It is the majestic secret of God with us. It is the glorious manifestation of God’s dealings with mankind. The Holy Spirit takes the revealed Word of God and illumines us individually. We are made gloriously wealthy by this mystery.
C. H. Spurgeon said:
Each separate individual must have Christ revealed to him and in him by the work of the Holy Spirit, or else he will remain in darkness even in the midst of the gospel day. Blessed and happy are they to whom the Lord has laid open the divine secret which prophets and kings could not discover, which angels desired to look into.
“Without controversy,” said the apostle Paul, “great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh.” The Lord Jesus is crowned with “glory as of the Only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” He is “the brightness of the Father’s glory.” We have “unsearchable riches in Christ” because “in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.”

As Spurgeon noted: “Oh, the riches of the grace of God which it has pleased the Father to impart unto us in Christ Jesus! Christ is the ‘mystery,’ the ‘riches,’ and the ‘glory.’ He is all this . . . He is all this among us poor Gentiles . . . and we are made heirs of God. . . . All things are ours in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The essence of the mystery is Christ Himself in His person. It is Christ in all His glorious riches actually dwelling through His Spirit in the inner lives of His believers.
The incarnation of Christ is a mystery
The incarnation of Christ is a deep mystery. It was born in the unsearchable wise mind of God. The idea of “Immanuel, God with us” was conceived in the omnipotent omniscient mind of God. Every regenerated mind delights in this vital union between God and man.
The apostle Paul tells us another mystery. Let the quotable Spurgeon say it for us. “Our Lord’s person is at this day constituted in the same manner. He is still God and man; still He can sympathize with our manhood to the full, for He is bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh; and yet He can help us without limit, seeing He is equal with the Father. Though manifestly divine, yet Jesus is none the less human; though truly man, He is none the less divine, and this is the door of hope to us, a fountain of consolation which never ceases to flow.”
Very God,very man. God incarnate became a vicarious substitute for sin and died and rose again

The death of Christ is a mystery

Since the incarnation is a great mystery we are ever mindful of the great mystery of His death. That the Son of God should die as a substitute for our sins is quite beyond us. He humbled Himself and became a servant, and died as our substitute on a cross. He bore our terrible load of sin on the cross that we might never bear the Father’s righteous wrath. He took the cup of wrath that we ought to have drunk forever and drained it dry. He bore our punishment in His death. He redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Moreover, He has made everything right and safe for us with God the Father by making an end of sin and an everlasting righteousness on our behalf with the Father. The finished work of Jesus Christ is a grand mystery. Jesus Christ is all my righteousness. He is all my salvation and all my desire.

The resurrection and ascension of Christ is a grand mystery

On the other hand since He is the second person of the Godhead, the Son of God, the eternal Word of God, should we be in the least surprised that He should rise from the dead?
Jesus Christ “is the firstborn from the dead” (1:18). He overcame death and passed to His sovereign throne at the right hand of the Father in heaven where He reigns as the living Lord.

He has overcome death. He is alive!

Since you are a believer you have been raised up with Christ, therefore keep on constantly seeking the things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
Because of the new birth Christ now lives in me. This is the greatest miracle of all. Christ in me is the most certain thing in my personal experience (1 Cor. 6:19-20; Eph. 3:16-17).
A total change took place in our outlook when we came into personal contact with Jesus Christ. There was a time when we were “alienated from God” and we were “dead in trespasses and sin.” We began and ended each day without any serious thought about God and His will for our lives. He was not important to us. We were hostile toward God. But something happened in our lives. Now we are reconciled to God. Now He is our most valued person. Something happened within us. Something changed our attitude toward Jesus Christ. In the moment we believed on Jesus Christ our whole life changed. God is in the business of changing lives and He does it when we repent of our sins and believe on Christ as our Savior. What happened? We were born again. A spiritual birth took place and Christ came within you and the Holy Spirit made you His temple. If you need your life changed that is where you must begin. It begins when you open your heart to Christ and receive Him as Lord.

Every believer has stamped in him, “Made in Christ.” That means there are no cheap imitations of Christians. The crowning work of redemption is conforming the believer into the image of Christ (Gal. 4:1).
The greatest miracle is Christ in you
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”  The grandest mystery of all Paul tells us is “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Christ in me creates the “hope of glory.”
A. T. Robertson stresses the idea of the preposition en here is “in” not “among.” The context requires that we understand the phrase as referring to an inner subjective experience. The mystery long hidden is not a diffusion of Christ among the Gentiles. It is the indwelling of Christ in His people, both Jewish and Gentile. The declared “hope of glory” of both is “Christ in you.” Paul has in mind the indwelling Christ in the heart of every believer. Though “among you” makes good sense, it is more probable “in you” or “within” (cf. Rom. 8:10; 2 Cor. 13:5; Gal. 4:19; Eph. 3:17). It is the personal experience of the living presence of Christ in the individual life of the believer that is the mystery of mysteries.

Ephesians 3:17 tells us Christ “dwells in your hearts.” The central fact of an intimate personal relationship with Christ is this great truth of “Christ in you.” This indwelling constitutes “the hope of glory” for every believer. Jesus is the Shekinah glory of God, and He shines in our hearts so that we see the glory of God in the face of Christ (2 Cor. 3:18; 4:6, 16; 1 Jn. 3:2-3).
The Christian has experienced the superior light and knowledge of Jesus Christ and all other religious experiences and claims of the Gnostics and secret mystery religions fade into nothing when compared to the inward knowledge of an intimate love relationship with Him.
The first Adam headed up the human race and stood for us, and fell for us, and we fell in him. How marvelous that the second Adam took up within Himself all His people and stood for us and kept the covenant with God the Father so that now every blessing of that new covenant is infallibly secure to all who are risen in Him.

“Whatever Christ is His people are in Him. They are crucified in Him, they were dead in Him, they were buried in Him, they were risen in Him; in Him they live eternally, in Him they sit gloriously at the right hand of God, ‘who has raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.’ In Him ‘we are accepted in the beloved,’ both now and forever; and this, I say, is the essence of the gospel; he who does not preach Christ, preaches no gospel. . . . Christ Himself is the life, soul, substance, and essence of the mystery of the gospel of God” (Spurgeon).

Anything short of Jesus Christ will leave you short of salvation. You have to reach Christ, and touch Christ and nothing short of this will save you.

Jesus gives us Himself. To have Christ is to have eternal life. He does not merely give us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption etc., but He is made of God all these things to us. He is our life. Therefore, we cannot do without Him.

The Christian experience heightens every individual power we have. Keep in mind the person in whom Christ begins to possess does not cease to be himself. He does not become a robot. This is not some pantheistic philosophy Paul is teaching.
“Christ in me” means that He is bearing me along from within. His motive-power carries me on giving my whole life a wonderful sense of God’s presence. It gives me life with an endless song in my heart.

This blessed union with Christ is a vital union with God. The more a person is “in Christ” the more he is “in God.” To be united with Christ is to be united with the God who raised Him (Rom. 8:11; Col. 2:12). The heart of Paul’s fellowship with Christ is found in his certainty that “God was in Christ.” The believer is risen with Christ through faith of the operation of God who raised Him from the dead. The apostle John says, “Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ” (1 John 1:3).

It is Christ in you or within you that gives us the riches of His glory. The mystery is the indwelling Christ in Gentiles. It was not a mystery to the Jewish people that the Messiah should come and dwell among His people. That was their great hope. However, that the Messiah of Israel should dwell among the non-Jews was an entirely new revelation of the purposes of God. Christ freely given to the Gentiles is the mystery. Christ now indwells in His people, regardless of whether they are Jewish or non-Jewish.

Christ in you

Christ in you accepted by faith alone means Christ possessed. When Christ is in you the law has nothing more to say to you. It can no longer condemn you because God has declared you acquitted. You have been justified by faith in Christ.

Christ in you means Christ experienced in all His power. Christ in you fills your life with His holy presence and power. That which the law can never do, Christ does by indwelling in you.
Christ in you is His sovereign rule in your life. Christ in you is Christ’s scepter from the center of your being over every facet of your personality. Christ in you is His power bringing every thought into captivity to Himself. Christ in you means the imperial sovereignty of Jesus Christ over your life. We find our freedom by being in submission to His sovereign hand over our lives.

Christ in you means His filling you with His wonderful presence. Christ in you transforms your person until you become like Christ.

When Christ enters into our lives and we yield to His presence He transforms, elevates us to His likeness. The apostle Paul declared, “I live, yet not I, Christ lives in me.” When Christ enters in He sanctifies us, and sets us apart for His glory.
Christ in you means He enters into us and becomes our life.

Christ in you means His power in you. We were without spiritual strength until Christ came into our lives. We were dead in trespasses and sins. Now our spiritual victory is guaranteed.
Christ in you means we are spiritually rich. We were in spiritual poverty until Christ came in and now we have all the riches of Christ Jesus. We are now rich because He is rich.
Christ in you means honor and glory. He glorifies the place where He dwells even for a moment. If Christ comes into your heart His whole court comes with Him! Rejoice for you have Him as a holy guest. People who value and love Him cannot be happy without Him.

OUR HOPE OF GLORY

The indwelling Christ is the ground for the expectation of glory both now and the future. “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” The word “glory” points to the great consummation in God’s eternal purpose, and is a comprehensive word for God’s glorious presence with His people.
The wealth of glory for the believer is this mystery among the Gentiles which is Christ. Our ground of hope is “Christ in you.”

M. R. Vincent says, “The full glory of the inheritance was a hope, to be realized when Christ should appear. Glory refers to the glory of the mystery; hence the glory consummated at Christ’s coming—the glory which shall be revealed.”

The glorified saints around the throne of God have no higher source of joy than the saints on earth. They have no higher theme or song of praise to the Father. They are only happier because their discovery of these things is more complete and are now freed from all earthly hindrances and limitations that interrupt our enjoyment in our present state.
Christ alone is our foundation for the blessed hope in the future, or eschatological glory. The fact that we now have Christ in us is the pledge of final glory when Christ returns. This glory is yet future. We will share in the yet future full manifestation of God’s glory in Christ.
Jesus Christ focuses our minds and desires on that which is above in heaven and the eternal future. Christ in you gets eternity into the picture. He gets our minds off our past through the forgiveness of our sins and into the present as He lives within us and into the future as we concentrate on our blessed hope in Him alone. “Christ in you” energizes the present and gives us a song to sing. Lord Jesus, will I see You today? Even so, come!
Paul wrote in Colossians 3:4, “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory.”

The apostle Paul prayed that this great truth would become a reality for the believers in the church at Ephesus. He prayed, “that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:16-19). That will take your breath away! When Christ in you offers all of those glorious benefits why in the world do people go turning to new age movements, secret mystery religions, occults and cults seeking the most recent religious fad?

If you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior He wants to settled down and make Himself permanently at home in your heart. He wants to settle down in your “inner man” that is, the personal, rational self, the moral I that has experienced spiritual renewal by the Spirit of God. He is talking about the very core of your inner spiritual being, the place where the Holy Spirit works to fashion and form His temple since the moment you were born again. That is the place where He is at work forming you in the image of Christ.

It is there Paul tells us Christ “dwells” “in your hearts through faith.” Christ wants to settle down in a dwelling, to dwell fixedly in a place, to live in a home. He wants to settle down and feel completely at home as a permanent dwelling place in your heart.

Do you make Christ feel at home? Do you invite Him in as a permanent resident? Does He feel comfortable in your heart? Are there two masters trying to be sovereign in your life? Do you give Christ the free reign of your life? Do you have any junk closets where He is forbidden to enter? Are there any secret hideouts in your heart? Can you honestly drag everything in your heart out in the glaring holy light of the Son?

But Paul is not through. He says in a great doxology, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen” (vv. 20-21).

Literally Paul writes, “But to Him [God] who is able above all things to do exceedingly above . . .” It is exceeding some number or measure, over and above, more than necessary and is intensified by adding the idea of exhaustlessness and “above.” The apostle Paul has in mind something that is beyond all things. It is superabundantly and over and above anything he can imagine. Now to our God who is able to do exceedingly beyond all things, superabundantly and over and above all things, exceeding all things beyond all things, we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. What a great God and Savior we worship!
Our weakness is connected to God’s omnipotence and omniscience. God is able!
The amazing thing is the best is yet to come! These are words of hope and confident assurance of the believer’s future. The apostle John wrote of that final glory in 1 John 3:1-3.
What glory is ours, glory unspeakable!

We shall have glorified bodies just like the resurrected body of Christ when He appears in glory. “He who has come to live in our hearts, and reigns as our bosom’s Lord, makes us glorious by His coming,” declared Spurgeon. When Christ comes to reign He brings countless blessings with Him. Just think of it. “He who went to the cross for me will never be ashamed of me: He who gave me Himself will give me all heaven and more: He that opened ‘His very heart to find blood and water to wash me in, how shall He keep back even His kingdom from me? O sweet Lord Jesus, thou art indeed to us the hope, pledge, the guarantee of glory.”
The Lord Jesus Christ entered into a covenant with God the Father to bring His people home to glory. He who pledged to bring every sheep of His flock safe to His Father’s right hand will not fail. He has never failed one of His covenant promises. He never will.

Christ in you is glory. In having Christ, you have glory. Christ’s glory and your glory are wrapped up together. If Christ were to lose you it would be a great loss to Him. If I can perish with Christ in me He will lose His honor. His glory is gone if one soul who has put their trust in Him for eternal life is ever cast away. As sure as the Lord God lives, Christ in you means you in glory with Him for all eternity. This is the most astounding truth taught in the Bible. “Christ in you.”

SOME ABIDING PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Christ in me is a prophet teaching me His way, giving me His direction so I can proclaim His message with clarity and boldness. “To whom God willed to make known” is the result of God’s grace, through no merit of the saints, making it known. God says, Now that you know all my deep secrets in Christ, go into the entire world and tell them. Instead of piously keeping them to yourself, or your select group, go out and tell the secret to everyone who will listen. Only Christians can understand the mystery because it is “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
Christ in me is my High Priest interceding and giving me immediate access to God so I can go directly into His presence with my petitions on your behalf.

Christ is me is a king demanding my loyalty as I bow in worship only to Him as my Lord and Master and as His servant I go out to serve.

Don’t be ashamed for one moment of the fact that Christ in you is your hope of glory.
This is the greatest mystery of the universe that God of the Jewish people would take up residence in Gentile men and women. The idea of salvation of the Gentiles was nothing new. The prophets spoke of it and the poets wrote of it in the Psalms. But the idea that He would tabernacle Himself in a Gentile was something wholly new. That is the mystery of “Christ in you the hope of glory.”

Christ in Rev. Paul - Christ in the Chinese. Christ in the Japanese, the Russians, the African. Christ in me! That is my hope of glory and I pray that it is yours, too. It is the only hope for the world in which we live. Do you have that hope? Do you share that same expectation of glory with God in Christ? Do you have Christ dwelling within your heart? Do you have Christ in you? You can begin right now.

Dear Heavenly Father thank-You for this wonderful day, Thank-You for giving us Your Word and being to the point, but keeping it simple, and giving us the bread of life we all need. Thank-You O’Lord, so much for keeping us at "one" with Your Son, We all love You, and we will continue to worship and praise Your name this whole week- and through eternity, please help us to be better Christians this week, and all of the rest of our spiritual existence- please keep the Holy Spirit with us to guide us, and Lord please keep directing our paths, and decisions. Father, We thank you for Your teaching and guidance,  and we will all do our best to confess all our sins, and repent of our actions of the flesh,  please stay with us all, please show us the right road to travel on, and help us to be more like Christ Your Son, and Lord help us to be able to learn truth, and not to believe in lies from the evil one, we love You all, God bless You all, till next week, We bid you all grace and peace,We hold the church up to You Father, In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen.

I am so tired that I almost forgot our candlelight prayer section, this week has been so hard for me, things have gone so wrong, but the Lord is still with me, and I have to pray for the staff the prayer warriors and all my friends and neighbors. Plus I need to get a hold of the prayer owners that feed the prayer requests into my email, and when the computer got fixed I have over a thousand emails to go over, and that will take days, I wish I had someone right here to help me. Here is so much to do and I have to replace all those empty white boxes where digitracks used to be, plus add music and fill  in the empty spaces with pictures or paintings from Duncan Long who today we both helped each other and he really gave me a blessing by giving me selected art work from his gallery. That is more or less a wonderful miracle, that I didn’t really expect, but Brother Duncan gave me a large blessing that I can’t even explain the value. A gift that will help The Church and the looks to have his art work placed on The Church site is such a blessing and an Honor just to have his work present on some of the main pages, I thank God for this glorious gift he is sharing with me and The Church Ministries. You see God closed one door and opened another to bless everyone. We all wish to thank him, and we all need to pray for the healing of his back also, mine is killing me right now. I can barely sit up any more. I will put up as many prayer requests as I can. God bless you all!!
1. Susan Jones - I have not heard from her in a while, she probably got all her mail bounce back when the computer was down.  Susan still cares and I still care and between us both we will kick this infection along with Johan and all his prayers and emails. Susan is having some medical problems I am pretty sure. I will pray all I have for this girl she has helped me through the years and I owe it to her to bring her a blessing from the Lord, We have grown close to God together. I need to write her to see how she is doing. I need to get a prayer letter out tomorrow or Monday. Sunday's I am exhausted from doing the sermon and getting up and down, so I can write, plus a good 20-24 hours of typing, that is only shortened by the times I have to get up and lay down and straighten out my back all through the night.
2. Johan & Esther, with children Anneke, Jolene, and baby Simeon- Deo Valente Mission- South Africa. Johan has blessed me over and over with emails. He is sending me about 4-5 a day and he is not giving up on me he wants me healed and he believes in me and the Lord. Johan has out done himself -he still is sending me 4-5 emails a day on healing and faith, he is an amazing man. Johan seems to be in some financial trouble and we all need to pray for his mission, he is taking care of 350+ people and they all need to be feed, and helped, I ask the angels in heaven to stand by and help this whole group. Johan has done more for me then anyone human on this website he has kept me alive, he still writes to me 4-5 times a day, with scriptures for healing and all kinds of stories on healing. And I have not written him back for a good week, but I wrote him just the other day, and thanked him.
3. Marcella- Living Waters Disciples Prayer Ministry- Marcella is special she spends hours upon hours praying for people and for me, she is a blessing. I don't know how she stays on line all the time she must be like I was morning and all through the night, praying for so many others, she is a blessing to so many others, I pray I can do more- but I have many of the people on her list now on my list and they are being verbally prayed for.
4. Willy and Liz- Local Best friends- Liz saved my life taking me to the pharmacy, and to a few places to pay my bills, and to pick up a few things at the market. I needed to talk to Willie he is like my best friend locally.Willie is a solid good man and he is always there for me, he brought me over some vitamins that I needed, that was a blessing, to help keep me alive, I have been getting sick for more then three weeks, now it is over, and I am wondering what is going on with my body. I weigh 114 see what stress and being sick can do. I have not weighed 114 since I was 12-13. Thank God for Willie, he took me to a new church and bought me a bowl of soup after, all we talk about is the Lord and the bible. I thank them both, I could have had a heart attack just the other day carrying a back pack, with things from the store, and I couldn't carry all the bottles of medicine they were just too heavy.

I had to spend days deleting all the trash mail that people send me. I must have had a hundred fake lottery emails, and another hundred that want to donate millions with all the same story almost. Then all the prayer requests. Then I lost the whole c-Drive (2 years of data) first, then after that the computer would not work. Then it started to work again, that is how I am able to do today's sermon and last weeks.
8. Senior Pastor Fred and Suzanne- Kansas I wrote into the boards last week and sent in a poem the other day and Bishop Larry wrote me about buying some things in the Internet store.
