Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matt. 7:7-8 KJV

Good morning my brothers and sisters, in Hawaii, and throughout the whole world! Today is a new day, I will not speak about my troubles, it seems to me it is time for a change, I am going in Monday for a nuclear bone scan, it sounds a little scary, but we have the Lord, all of us, so my main concern today is the influence of prayer. Through prayer, God can heal us, and He does know what is best for us, and he will never ever leave us, we must trust in Him. I have been advised that I will be spending 6 weeks in the hospital with an IV in me, of antibiotics, I am hoping for me and the church that I will be an outpatient, this way I can continue to pray and help the many requests that come through our main office. And continue with our weekly sermons, hopefully, to be able to preach the bread of life. This church hits a lot of all different sections of the world; I get a lot of emails from all over the world on how interested others are in the church and the ministry. I Thank my God that I am still able to sit up, and type.
Dear heavenly Father, Where do I begin, How can I tell you how much we love you, an how much we want to thank you, for being our God, and for loving us before we were even born. We want to worship you and praise your name. We love you Jesus, we thank you, all of us, please stay with us, please comfort us all. Please send your Holy Spirit to every household, office, or apartment, or where anyone else can hear or read this service, please send us your warmth and tears of joy and compassion to all of us, please Father heal us all, of any and all afflictions, and please continue to here our prayers, even after our service is over, please bond to us, please anoint us, please purify us all, so we can enter into your heavenly Kingdom. In the mighty Name of Jesus, Amen
What shall we ask for when we pray? That is answered many times in the bible. We are to ask for anything we want. Anything that you have a right to want, you have the right to ask for. Every Christian should take every desire to God and in prayer. It is a sin to want anything that you can honestly pray for and you should ask God to remove the desire, if it is wrong. And if the desire is not wrong, then you ought to ask God to fulfill it.
What shall I ask for when I pray? And the Lord answers back in His word many times that we are to ask for whatsoever we desire. We are to let our requests be made known to God. We are to carry everything to God in prayer.

It is strange how the rotation of time, have changed in our modern conception of prayer. Many people think that they have to say the choice words and certain formulas in a prayer. But that is not the extent of it; prayer can be a simple communication to God. Some think it is wrong to ask for rain, for jobs, for money, or for small certain particular things, and we all must include our daily bread, forgiveness and thankfulness.  Some people think that prayer is good and expectable only on great matters, and they feel it is proper to pray, and others steer away from the small matters and don’t seem to want to bother God or take up His time for a small prayer or a undersized request.
But Christians need to break away from these traditional limitations on prayer and learn from the bible that a Christian has the right to pray about anything and everything. God really wants Christians to ask for anything they want.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:23-24 KJV

He asked us to pray for what things “soever ye desire” Anything in the world you want, even the casting of a mountain into the sea, is included in the boundaries of genuine, normal prayer for a Christian! The condition of faith is given, to be sure. We are not discussing the condition, but calling the attention to the wonderful, unlimited invitation to pray for the things your heart desires, whatever they may be. In John 15, the same thing is taught. Jesus said,
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7 KJV
Here “what ye will” is the proper subject for prayer. Anything in the world your heart wants, you should pray for.
And isn’t this the same thing or the same meaning of Psalm 37, There we are told,
Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:4 KJV
A Christian’s prayer should correspond with the desire of his heart. Whatever his heart desires, that is what a Christian should ask for.
Literally “any thing” may be requested by one of God’s children in prayer, according to the sweet invitation of the Savior Himself. In John 14, Jesus said,

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14KJV

Whatsoever means anything in the world. And then Jesus, knowing there unbelief of our hearts, simply said, “If ye shall ask any thing I my name, I will do it.” Christians ought to ask for anything, plainly anything, they want from God.
Every Christian ought to get his hearts desires and his prayers in agreement. Anything you have a right to want, you have a right to pray for. If you do not have the right to pray for it, then it is wrong to pray for it. About any particular matter, the Christian ought to ask for what he wants, or quit wanting it.

Just imagine that the Lord Jesus should knock at the door of your home and say, “I have come to supply your needs, to supply every legitimate want, to make you fully happy. Take me into your home and tell me everything you lack, every need, every desire.” You see you could be very open then, you would not hesitate to tell Him everything you need as He is in your home. So you might say Lord Jesus you see there is not enough food for us, and the children, we are all hungry, can you please supply us with some food for this house. Or you might say my wife is terribly suffering, and she is week and it is hard for her to prepare all the food that is needed, so My Jesus can you please teach the children to prepare there own food that you will supply, and to please heal my wife and to please make her strong again. Or then again you might say Lord Jesus we have been fighting, my wife and I and we have been aggressive and getting mad over all the wrong things. We truly love each other, and most of our troubles are about the bills the income of our work and that we are constantly trying to catch up, and we take it out upon each other. We do not mean to be mad at each other, it only hurts us and the children suffer too. We are sorry. Won’t you please help us to be patient and loving Christians as we should ought to be. So in your woes if Jesus really came to live and visit your home you would be very open to ask Him anything, and He would satisfy every hearts desire and He would even tell you, that he was eager to help you and give you everything that you wanted. I also think you would tell Him anything and all requests that you could actually think of. The point of the matter is that is what He is telling you to do right now, with any prayer or request, even though He might not be standing or sitting in your very house. If you want it, pray for it! If it is not right to pray for it, then it is not right to want it. In any case you should pray about that too, and ask God to fix your “wants” so that you could better establish the things according to His will, to want things that a Christian would have the right to pray for. It is dishonorable and wrong to set our hearts on anything that we cannot honestly talk to God about. But anything we have the right to want, anything we have a right to work for, anything we have a right to try to buy or plan about, then we have a right to pray for, too. Ask for anything you want!

There was a time back in the 70’s me and a friend of mine were hitch-hiking along I-10 heading toward Florida, and we were somewhere in the middle of Louisiana, and we saw a rest area, and it began to rain and on top of these picnic tables were awnings so we had to walk way back into the field way off the hi-way, and set our backpacks, my guitar, and ourselves, under these awnings, to stay dry, and I would say we were a few football fields away from the hi-way, and we had to sit there for a many minutes and I prayed for someone to get us out of this situation. We waited a while and then I saw this white pick-up just sitting along the hi-way, and saw this man beeping his horn and waving, I was saying to myself how can anyone see us so far from the roadway, it was too far and raining, so we started to walk over towards the truck, and the man kept waving. We got to the truck and this man was all dressed in white casual clothes, and the white truck, and with white interior. He said get in; we got in, put our dog Pax in the back and slipped our backpacks and my guitar under the tool box in the back. We got in and I asked him how did you see us, so far away? He just said I saw you, but I asked him did you drive by once before, and he said no, I just saw you and stopped, I still to this day could not figure it all out. Here is a man in a white truck, dressed in white, with white hair, and I asked the kind man what he did for a living, and all he said was he was a consultant, the conversation did not go any further, the rest was just small talk, after many hours and many miles he said had to make a turn north, so he took us to a motel, paid for it, and the woman was not going to let the dog stay, this man in white actually convinced this woman that he was a show dog, with out lying, he was explaining the hair and his feet and finally, the motel woman said that will be fine. Then we got into this room and he returned with three double cheese burgers one for each of us, and one for Pax, our dog, and then slipped us a five dollar bill, and he said get something for breakfast. We didn’t know how to thank him, and I have never experienced anything like that. You see a simple prayer brought us an angel, from out of nowhere. So God is always listening, and always watching, and always hearing.
Your heavenly Father wants to be taken into all the secrets and longings and desires of your heart. He wants no desire to be hidden from Him, but every desire turned into prayer. In Philippians 4, the Lord says to us,
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7 KJV

You see in everything let your requests be made known to God.
Here is the cure for worry. Anxious care, fretting, the wrinkled, stressed faces the troubled hearts that come from frustrated desires and troubled uncertainty about the future, can all be done away with if you will come to God and ask Him frankly and boldly for everything you want and stay there, until He answers.
Worry is a horrible sin. Worry is the opposite of faith and trust. How can anyone worry, when there are so many scriptures that tell of the wonders of God? And God’s cure for worry is to pray about everything.

Let us look at it a different way, a mother that lives in the country, and her daughter moves to the city, she wants to know everything that is going on and what is new, how is her job, can you tell me about your apartment, or your friends, can you send me some pictures of where you live, and your friends and some pictures of yourself so that I know you are healthy and happy. The mother wants to here about every secret, and everything that is troubling the daughter’s heart. It is a sad thing when the parents feel their children slipping away from them. You see when children no longer take their parents into there confidence, the parents grieve.
So it is the same thing with God about His own children. How dear we are to Him. That is how much God loves us, so prayer is more than just for asking for things it a sharing your life, and deep insides, hopes and dreams, wants and joys, with our heavenly Father.
And since I have learned this blessed secret, it has done wonders for my own internal life. I have found out that I ought to take everything and freely take every desire of my heart to God. He wants me to literally pray about everything to Him. And this also means that I open all the doors, all the things that I may feel that are hidden. He knows everything already, so why would I try to hide anything, I have learned to be completely open to Him, the thing is He wants us to tell him everything, big or small, everything. He enjoys our company, He enjoys hearing from us, he wants to feel our hearts, and he wants to be able to help us. Don’t you feel good when someone asks you for a favor or a task that maybe only you can do? Don’t you feel good when someone comes to you and asks for your help and then you accomplish the task or a particular problem for them? You see this is what God wants, He wants to help us, He wants to hear our prayers, so the next time you feel that your prayer is so insignificant don’t hesitate, because God wants to here about it, He loves us, with so much unexplainable love. He wants to hear and feel all your thoughts. And even if I have a want, a desire that is not according to His will, should I not tell him about it? Should I not reunite my desires with His will? I have resolved before God that I will never want the things that I cannot talk about to God. And when I take things to Him, He cures the desires that are evil by helping me to confess them, and He also gives me a blessed confidence, that I have the right to ask of my heavenly Father for anything in the world that I want.
So my Christian Bothers and Sisters, do not shut God out of a single spot of your heart. Tell Him everything. Ask Him for exactly everything your heart desires. The principle is that God wants you to have everything you want. Unless it would harm you, or dishonor Him, He would certainly want you to have your heart’s desires. So pray for everything that you want, meet God’s conditions and get it. Or if you take a matter to God, and He shows you He does not want to give it to you, then ask Him to take away that hurtful desire, of which He does not approve, out of your heart. Ask him for anything you want, or stop wanting it.
Dear all Powerful Father, we humbly come before you, and we ask that you hear us. You are such an awesome God, We thank you for your teachings, and your wisdom, we want to thank you for holding our hands an guiding us all to the light, when some of us out there don’t even realize that you are doing the things that you are doing. You are a God of great and pure Love. We are so grateful that you are just God, and our God. We can never express how much we care, and how much we praise your glory and dominion. Please stay close to us all, till we meet again, we all love you, and worship you. In the Name, above all Names, our Jesus, Amen and Amen.
