Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exort with great patience and instuction. 2Tim 4:2
I guess I will be preaching right across the street here in the park. The only thing is, there is no one around on Sunday mornings, downtown is empty. I still am in prayer always, for God's direction, and still haven't recieved an answer. I am knocking and I am not finding any doors opening. Wait upon the Lord. This website is the church for now, and we are building it, so I guess I am still doing my Fathers work.
All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. 2Tim 3:16-17 This I believe this is one of the most powerful explanations of scripture, and Paul explains it all in one sentence. We should always carry this in our hearts.
Then your light will break like the dawn,
And your recovery will speedily sping forth;
And your righteousness will go before you;
The glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
You will cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.'
If you remove the yoke from your midst,
The pointing the finger, and speaking wickedness,
And if you give yourself to the hungry,
And satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
Then your light will rise in darkness,
And your gloom will become like midday.
And the Lord will continually guide you,
And satisfy your desire in scorched places,
And give strength to your bones;
And you will be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.
And those among you will rebuild the ancient ruins;
You will raise up the age-old foundations;
And you will be called the repairer of the breach,
The restorer of the streets in which to dwell.
Isaiah 58:8-12
The Lord showed me this; for confidence, strength, and faith, to stay on this path.
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation, He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. And these signs "attesting miracles" will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues: they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it shall not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." Mark 16:15-18-- I have met many men and preachers that say this is only meant for the disciples, but we are also disciples, we are students of the living Christ. This should be all of our concern, as Christians we have all these gifts and powers, we need to know we have them, and apply them.
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem,( that is the city in which they were) and in all Judea ( that is the state in which there city was) and in Samaria,( that is the adjoining state) and even to the remotest part of the earth." Acts 1:8 ("What we have to do is start right here in our Home Town.") I do pray for the Holy Spirit, to come upon me, I am not bold enough to stand in these streets and yell on my own. I need the baptism of the Holy Spirit, to have power myself to baptize and heal, and preach, to the people of this town. Dear Lord help us.
"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angles, nor principalities, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."Rom 8:38-39 This is our total security, this is our bond, even though we go through many trials, persecutions, sufferings or even death, these words stand forever, and comfort us from now, till eternity.
Consider it all joy my brethren when you encounter various trials, knowing that your faith produces endurance, And let that endurance have that perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4
Do You know how many times a day I say this scripture? It is unbelievable what I am fighting, it is not only the trials and testing it is attack, after attack, all at the same time. I am getting slammed, by the evil one. He is using all his big guns against me,and I am marked for death. And still my joy is being affected, I have to fight for life, and at the same time I must take it as a warrior of Christ, to make me stronger, gain character, and wisdom. That is the hard part, no getting upset, not yelling, being patient, calm, and happy?
Did you ever wake up one day and have everything go wrong, you stub your toe on the couch, your coffee pot explodes, the hot water in the shower doesn't work, then the events of the day set in. Then you are bombed with all kinds of negative thoughts from the evil one, now you are flinging the sword of the spirit to get the negative thoughts out of your mind, then your trying to pray and the phone rings with sales person that will not let you get off the phone, then you are trying to read your bible and you get a stomach ache, then you get in your car and then your red dashboard lights go on, then your phone battery runs down, then you realized that you have to turn around because you forgot something. This stuff happened's to me e-v-e-r-yday, and this is NOTHING. This is a good day compared to lets say today, trying to build a church. The devil does not want this church built or even this web site. You would not believe what I have to do just to type, I have to praise God continually over and over, till I shake off, the "whatever at that time" spirit is trying to stop me, may it be confusion, worry, self esteem, depression, fear and all the others. Sometimes I have to shout, Devil I bind you by the power of the Spirit of God in the name of Jesus Christ, I cut off all your power, and I cast you the spirit of "whatever at that time" out into the deepest part of the sea. Now if I went to watch TV but I don't, nothing would happen. I could sit there for days and would not be afflicted in anyway, but I am not wasting God's time, or saving souls time, or helping people to the light time, or even prayer time. We Christians have to do our Fathers work and that's it.
I can never stop thanking God for all the generous gifts he has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus. He has enriched your church with the gifts of eloquence and every kind of knowledge. This shows that what I told you about Christ is true. Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will keep you strong right up to the end, and he will keep you free from all blame on the great day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will surely do this for you, for he always does just what he says, and he is the one who invited you into this wonderful friendship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1Corth. 1:4-9 NLT
Prayer of Thanksgiving
Even now I rejoice in the midst of my sufferings on your behalf. And in my own person I am making up whatever is still lacking and remains to be completed on our part of Christ's afflictions, for the sake of His body, which is the church. Col. 1:24 AMP
But what of that? For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us! Rom. 8:18 AMP
I am praying, I am sorry I could not back to you all, so quickly with the most choice words, this infection I have been fighting has gotten worse through the months. My strength has gone weaker and weaker, but I am able still to pray for all of your needs, besides it isn’t I who does the praying, we are just portals to God. We preachers just help movement and communication flow just a little bit evenly. Not to say or boast that I have any better direct contact to God, more than yourself. We all have the same power, if we all believe in, and love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7, and follow His ways and teachings. Prayer is an ultimate way of sitting with, or kneeling, or just talking to the great thrown of grace, our heavenly Father. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked of him.” 1John 5:14-15
I guess we all need prayer, and I have maybe a few thousand people praying for me right now. The deep prayer is what really counts, and the when and where you are able to feel the presence of God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit, you will know it. Sometimes we need to know God is there, we just have to take the time to fully fall into His arms. This morning when I found out yesterday what I have to go through, and finally got some answers, I asked Jesus to sit by me, and I could feel His presence, it is warmth and tears that cannot be explained. I used to pick up food for the poor in my pickup years ago, and I could feel the presence and the warmth and those gentle tears would run down my face, they weren’t tears of sorrow, but of an essence of joy, not really a happy type joy, more or less a holy type of tears, where you could feel the Holy Spirit come right upon you. It takes a little clarity to actually explain it all or maybe you have experienced it yourself. It seems the more we love God and His people the more presence and closeness we feel.
“Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:7-8 “Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.” James 4:10
But then we come upon times that we do suffer, and we don’t know why or cannot figure out why a friend or a family member, goes through heath problems like myself, and indeed I have to face watching the rest of my family, and friends suffer too. Sometimes it is harder to watch the family or friend suffer, more than feeling the suffering yourself, it is a different type of suffering. So that is why we pray, for each other, and care for one another. It is a form of a loving communication and asking our mighty God that we all need help, and that He does know what is best for us, and He knows what will happen to each and every hair on our head. So we ask according to His will, and never to ask why things are happening the way they are. God has everything figured out already, and our prayers can change things. "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” Mark 11:22-25.
Other needs of prayer are for the poor, and people with financial situations, and most all of us have had, some sort of worry or confusion on how are we going to pay this bill, or are we going to loose the car or the house, and some are so poor they wonder where there next morsel of food is coming from. “He who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor
Will also cry himself and not be answered.” Prov. 21:13 I have felt it myself 4-1/2 months not being able to do anything, being in pain and not being able to eat is a long time, but as always God does and He has for me repeatedly, time after time, been right there for me, He doesn’t give you great riches, but He always gives you what you need, so we must remember Phil.4:19 “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” So now we enter into our prayers of faith and trust. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” Phil 4:6-9
We are all human and we are all still in the flesh, no matter if we are a bible scholar or just a maintenance man, we all go through it, and that evil one tries to fill all of our minds with worry, fear, and doubt, so we all have to consider these certain attacks because later on if we loose something lets say a job, a loved one, or a wife, a husband, or one of our children, or something happens to grandma or grandpa, we still have to continue praising God no matter what, and not giving up, no matter what the extent of the situation is. “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Rom 8:28 We might not understand what is happening and we may be confused or hurt, or feeling a deep pain in our insides, we still have to go on, this life is only a blink of an eye, and we may all be going through a series of tests, so that God may or may not want to teach us, or to move us to a higher level of faith, or maybe to make us stronger, we as small humans can never begin to understand the reasoning of our God. But in our hearts and in our minds we should never ever give up. God will never give up on us, so how could we ever possibly give up on Him. “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4
Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.' Jer.33:3 My prayers are with you all, and I will do what I can for your situation, I have the faith, that things will work out, and I know my God will heal me of all things, and I also know that mission I want to build, will be built, and many people will be helped and many will turn to God and be saved. So if I can believe with all these compounded afflictions, and dreadful attacks. I know you and your dreams and prayers and health and prosperity will come about. God Bless, Rev. Paul
I have been praying for you all, I have been put a little behind because of the church’s Sunday sermon it took me another 14 straight hours, and sometimes I feel it is done for nothing, I don’t feel enough people read them, but I know that is all a lie, from the father of lies, {John 8:44.} I learn from it, just working on it with all the scripture references, and it does express my feelings toward the love and healing and life within Jesus Christ. My health as not gotten any better, and my loneliness is still a burden, even though I am around a lot of church staff, and I do have devotions with my friend every morning in which I would suggest that to every one. A little bible reading, prayer and discussion of God’s word does help. {All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Tim 3:16-17.} It does change my day, and my whole outlook on the rest of the world, there is so much suffering going on I wish I could just, heal everyone by the spoken word. That is why we pray, we ask God through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and the blood and suffering of Jesus Christ who suffered and died for our sins, and to give us life, health and anything else we may need. {Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John1:2} If we all had pure faith, without any doubt, or sin, all healing could be accomplished. Years ago before this affliction, I was getting stronger in the faith of healing, and that is mostly what I prayed for, back in the mid 80’s while living in a ministry house. I did have a prayer partner that we could go in to hospitals, and walk right in to ICU, and pray on people, and they would admit they felt it. But the devil dragged me down again, {Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.1Pet.5:8} and put me in a different position, then later I got hit again with the world {my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6} then the evil one focused my mind on different things, and turned my head again, {For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.1John 2:16} until a major tragedy occurred to someone very close to me, so for me in order to handle the situation I went back into ministry school, to deal with the problem at hand, then the school was more or less bringing my spirit down, when I still had that power to heal. I had many conversations with ministers and pastors, but they could not really understand the power of prayer or divine healing, even though they and myself new the Word. I needed a change; I had to go where I thought there were more people like me, in a different land, 5,000 miles away, and build a church with a healing ministry. But I was mistaken, I found a few, but I think I was better off in the land I was in during the 70’s. So I decided to build a church of my own, not mine but the true Church of Jesus Christ, and within the apostles teaching, of the early church, totally biblical to the point word for word, but then again there isn’t any place or a group or called out ones who actually do what Christ wanted them to build. The true church has changed, just like Satan blinded all of us, and altered the situation, {2Cor. 4:4} and the traditions of man slowly changed the whole course and genuineness of the church. Things were moving along the website has been up, with good teachings, and sermons on the truth of the Word of God, but this affliction attacked my preaching ability, for outside, or a building or seminar, but in our society today, things have changed, just like Jesus said it would, in so many parables and in scripture. There is a true reality in divine healing, and God cannot lie. This affliction has lasted 6 months, and is slowly killing me, within my mind, spirit, and body. As two pastors I know, they both said Satan is out to kill you. All sickness and disease comes from the devil, they don’t come from God. God is the healer. {Ex.15:26} And Jesus suffered the whippings, scourging, or may I say the stripes on His back, so we would be healed. {Isaiah 53:4-5, 1Pet.2:24, Matt.8:17} But the thing is I can still pray for everyone and we do get wonderful shocking miracle letters, written back to us. Sometimes when I open up the emails they make me want to cry, for joy, but that is not why I do it. I do it because I love people, and God has given me the gift of faith, and prayer power. Here I am suffering very badly, with continuous intimidation of evil, and the procedure of all this medication, an IV’s is not working, and with all the thousands of people praying for me, I am still amazed of the outcome. I am being tested, I realize that, and I am going to load the story on the church website soon, it has to be told. It is 24 pages long, and how I continue to handle the situation is what God is watching, it is basically how we handle suffering, affliction, pain, humility, and torment, and just mans way of not caring for life, basically the way Jesus felt. I think God wants me to experience how Jesus really felt. Maybe to get even closer to Him and to understand Him better, or to share with you that you and I will be healed together, may it be a friend, or family member, or neighbor, or fellow worker, we have to have that faith that cannot be shaken from the lies of Satan. {And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Rom. 8:28} God Bless you, God doesn’t want any of His children to suffer, we have to trust, have faith, and believe, and He will heal us, and take care of any situation that we may be going through. Believers must NOW depart out. (See Questions 3,10-13)
HAS GOD SAVED YOU?
Q1. I sometimes wonder if God has saved me. If He has saved me, how would I know?
A. You will come to realize, as you read God’s word the Bible, if you are, in fact, a child of God:
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. (Romans 8:16)
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2Timothy 3:16)
This means that both in doctrine (what you believe) and practice (how you live), you will fit the Bible’s description of what a true believer is:
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. (1 John 2:3)
If you are saved, this means that God, in His love for you, elected you and decided to have Jesus Christ suffer eternal damnation on your behalf - for every sin you would ever commit. He then gave you a new soul and eternal life at some point in your lifetime. This salvation that God works can never be undone and man has no say in the matter. God saves whom He wants to save.
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: (Ephesians 1:4)
…I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. (Romans 9:15)
If you are not saved, these are some of the statements that apply to you:
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD…. (Proverbs 15:9a)
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Psalms 1:6)
It is good to remember that if you are not saved at this very moment, God can still save you right up to the time of your death or up to His return. Talking to one of the thieves crucified with Him, Jesus said: …Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. (Luke 23:43)
Q2. But I am not wicked. How can these verses apply to me?
A. God says, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)
The Bible teaches that when God has saved a person He never again will see the person’s sins; that is, the saved are “perfect” in His sight. However, an unsaved person (we ALL begin unsaved) is guilty before God.
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. (Romans 3:10,11)
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9)
Q3. If I am such a wicked person in God’s sight, what will God do to me?
A. The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:49,50)
… the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (2 Thess 1:7-9)
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Revelation 14:11)
Q4. That is terrible! Why would God create Hell?
A. Hell is terrible, and it exists because God’s perfect justice demands payment for sin; and God originally created man to be accountable to Him for his actions.
For the wages of sin is death…. (Romans 6:23a)
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. (Matthew 12:36)
Q5. If I am saved, will I escape hell?
A. Yes. You will never face God’s judgment if God, in the person of Jesus Christ, became your substitute in bearing the punishment of eternal damnation for your sins. Amazing as it may seem, God Himself came to earth as Jesus Christ to bear the wrath of God, the Father, for all His people.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2Coninthins 5:21)
Q6. If I believe in Jesus Christ, am I saved?
A. Yes, provided God has caused you to believe and given you faith in Him. This gift of faith is counted for righteousness - thus if our believing is because of something we have done for salvation (not a gift), we are making God a debtor to us, as if He owes us salvation. However, the work of faith (work coming out of faith) is produced by the Holy Spirit and is seen as a real fruit in the lives of those whom God has already saved:
Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. (Romans 4:4,5)
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. (Acts 13:48)
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (John 6:28,29)
…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith…. (Galatians 5:22)
Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee…. (Psalm 65:4a)
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. (Ezekiel 36:27)
Q7. But how would I know if my faith is that gift from God?
A. You will find you are happiest living according to the whole Bible.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. (Psalm 40:8)
If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)
…How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? (Romans 6:2)
Q8. Why does God seem to command us to do good works for salvation (like “ask,” ”seek,” ”knock”), if there is no work that we can do for salvation?
A. Today, through the Bible, God still talks to man as He did to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. In the Garden of Eden, man was able to keep God’s laws perfectly. Once man sinned, Christ, called the second Adam, had to come to stand between His eternally chosen people and God. He did this to obey God’s commands perfectly, on His people’s behalf. Not only that, but Christ is the ONLY ONE Whose works God will accept as payment for the sins of the people He wants saved. This is why if you have become saved, you cannot credit any work that you have done:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8)
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (Galatians 2:16)
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name [except Jesus’] under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
Q9. Will I see any changes in my life if God has saved me?
A. Yes. When God has saved you, you will humbly recognize that even though you rightfully deserved hell, Jesus Christ in His great mercy and love has done all the work required for your salvation. Consequently, you will live a life that praises and thanks Him for your salvation. You will grow to love God’s word more and more, and also find that you have a strong desire to share this wonderful message of salvation with any and all. This is the opposite of how you would be, if you were not saved.
…Saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. (Isaiah 66:2b)
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. (1 Peter 2:1-3)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…. (Romans 12:2a)
We love our sins because we are sinners. If God saves you, you will find that you hate your sins. The Bible says every sin is against our most holy God.
Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight. (Psalms 51:2-4a)
Q10. Can we know how near we are to the end of the world?
A. Yes! God’s judgment has already begun on the churches of this world, and it is completed at Christ’s return. We are in the time of the great tribulation, right now.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be…For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.. (Matthew 24:21,24)
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:29-31)
Q11. Why does God tell us about His judgment on the churches?
A. Because, it is God’s will to both remove His elect people from this world’s churches, and to further blind those that remain.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Revelation 18:4)
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Thess 2:11,12)
Q12. Will God have mercy on anyone during this time of great tribulation?
A. Yes. The Bible says: After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; … These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 7:9,14)
Q13. Should I attend a Church? Would this be pleasing to God?
A. NO! The Bible teaches that in these days we should flee the churches. God’s judgment has begun, and God starts it at the “great house” (But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour, 2 Timothy 2:20):
For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name.… (Jeremiah 25:29a)
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. (Matthew 24:15-18)
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be full‑filled. (Luke 21:20-22)
… the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thess 2:3c, 4)
In these verses, “Jerusalem,” “Judaea,” and the “temple” refer to the “great house,” the churches of this world. There is also an eternal church which consists of only those whom God has saved, and they will live with Him forever in Heaven. The “armies” are Satan (the Abomination of Desolation), as he comes with his false prophets and lying signs and wonders (dreams, visions, tongues, falling backwards, etc.). This is God’s judgment on the churches of this world.
We should, if possible, fellowship with other believers; but not in, or as, a church of this world.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25)
