If the good Lord wants us to have a building, He will suppy it, no worries just pure faith, it is His church.
If I have to, I will preach in the park in downtown Hilo. We must not forget that "the church" are the people, an assembly, ekklesia, not a building. When I came here, I had a dream, I am not going to give up even if I had to pitch a tent, or stand in the rain with a chair and a bible. God did not bring me all the way here to fail. (Phil.1:6). Or maybe I will preach a sermon on this website, either way the gospel is going to be preached, and I will "teach the bread of life" with the strength of the Holy Spirit..We have been under so much attack from the enemy, that I think we are on the right track. The evil one does not want a Bible Based True Christian Church anywhere around here.
Where there is much prayer, there is much power, where there is little prayer, there is little power, and where there is no prayer, there is no power at all.
As our world grows more and more godless and more and more secularized, we will find an increasing tide of demonic manifestation creeping into our culture and insulating itself into our civilized hearts.
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 2 Corth. 9:12 NIV
There will aways be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers, and toward the poor and needy in your land. Deut.15:11 NIV.
Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him. James 2:5 NIV.
If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or a temporary resident, so he can continue to live among you. Do not take any interest of any kind from him, but fear your God, so that your countryman may continue to live among you. You must not lend him money at interest or sell him food at a profit. Lev. 25:35-37 NIV
The worship that pleases God the best is love in the heart
My loved ones, we are in a spiritual battle, Satan is trying to fill our spirits with drugs, alcohol, violence, and illicit sex, but the greatest deception is filling our hearts with false religion. We have to overcome this, Satan is running out of time, he is trying to wage a war even between the elect. Every child of God should know that this spiritual battle is getting more and more intense as we approach these end times. That is why the "unity" of the Body of Christ (the church) must remain one body, with Christ as the head, and stick with early bible based teaching, with no divisions, or denominations.
Unity brings strength, division greatly weakens the group
If we want to make better people in the world, then we have to begin where people are made, in the family.
When you draw from the bible, the bible sends your focus back to God.
The more a person draws from somewhere else, the more they become something else.
Here is the Farmers Market, It is open every Saturday and Wednesday, you can buy fruits and vegetables, crafts, art, flowers, clothes, knickknacks etc. It is always nice to go there. "My next plan will be to rent a booth, or a space, bring my bibles, find a table, make some signs, and pray with people, and tell them about our church and ministry, it's a start."
This town needs a good bible based church, it hurts me so that I can't find a building to rent. I have been under intense spiritual warfare, under constant strain, we are running out of finances even to rent a building. The temporary office is 4 miles away. Some of these people that need the word, and healing have no way of getting that far. I have been in prayer, and people have been in prayer all over the world, to help me accomplish this mission. God will provide!
Downtown Hilo, Hawaii-The Big Island
For time will come when thet will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have there ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to myths. But you be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. 2 Tim. 4:3-5
I am still having a hard time getting things to work, we know we must give God all the glory, and count on Him for growth for this church and ministry. I tried, with renting a booth, but of course the day rent man, did not charge me, to give away bibles and literature, and pray for people, for healing and salvation. I prepared the whole night ahead with, printing literature, and outlining scripture of used bibles that were obtained by all the second hand shops, and all were mostly given to me. God Bless all those people, Pink Elephant, Salvation Army, and Goodwill, every worker, owner, and volunteer, knows what I am trying to do, and I thank them all deeply from my heart. I had one person come up to the table and take a bible, and take a piece of literature of the church, and sign their name to our prayer list. I was so disappointed, of the outcome, I cried half the day, and it took a while to get my head straight. My prayer partners shared with me about the one person, the one sheep that was lost, and how one person could change everything, and to reach one lost soul was an accomplishment for God. Luke 15: 4-7. Also all the people that saw us there, and how it made a impact on there lives, even though they didn't come up to the table, just seeing the cross and the praying hands could do something to plant a seed for the Kingdom. 1Corth. 1:21, James 5:19-20. I will continue to have pure faith, this is God's Church not mine, "And God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:19. I will continue to stand firm.
"God is spirit and those that worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:24
"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.
"For my yoke is easy and my load is light."
Matt. 11:28-30
God is spirit he is not a physical being, God can be anywhere. He is not classified to be in any one place, He can be everywhere, and He can be worshiped at any time at any place. It is not where we worship it is HOW we worship. Are we worshiping in sincerity and in truth?
Spiritual authority can be summarized in one word "Jesus." The devil can't stand the name of Jesus. He hates hearing the name "Jesus." If the devil can turn us to a point away from Jesus, he will succeed. And he is always trying to do that with people. He doesn't give up even after people get saved. He will continue to trick us into, or away from the spirit or authority of Jesus. He continually tries to get in the way of people getting saved, and if that doesn't work he will divert us into doing something meaningless, or unfruitful. And if Christ is not in control, we might spend our whole lives doing meaningless tasks, that amount for nothing.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. Matt. 6:33 KJV
This statement is probably the most important verse in the bible, we have to put God first in all things not worry about bills, jobs, rushing here or there, and all other concerns, of this world. We must first seek Him, and then all things will work out for goodness in our lives. The kingdom of God should be our main concern, also serving Him and obeying Him in everything. Most people today reverse the whole order and concentrate on themselves first, goals, objects, materialism and then God. But we all must focus on the Lord first, then our lives will unravel and we will see the blessed hope come true, through our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ.
One day Jesus said to his disciples, "There will always be temptations to sin, but how terrible it will be for the person who does the tempting. It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck than to face the punishment in store for harming one of these little ones. I am warning you! If another believer sins, rebuke him; then if he repents, forgive him. Even if he wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, forgive him."
One day the apostles said to the Lord, "We need more faith; tell us how to get it."
"Even if you had faith as small as a mustard seed," the Lord answered, "you could say to this mulberry tree, `May God uproot you and throw you into the sea,' and it would obey you!
"When a servant comes in from plowing or taking care of sheep, he doesn't just sit down and eat. He must first prepare his master's meal and serve him his supper before eating his own. And the servant is not even thanked, because he is merely doing what he is supposed to do. In the same way, when you obey me you should say, `We are not worthy of praise. We are servants who have simply done our duty.' " Luke 17:1-10 NLT
Servants of God
They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord's Supper and in prayer.
A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything they had. They sold their possessions and shared the proceeds with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity-- all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved. Acts 2:42-47 NLT
Practices in the Early Church
It is not the church of Christ that saves, it is the Christ of the church.
For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with self-control, right conduct, and devotion to God, while we look forward to that wonderful event when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing what is right. Titus 2:11-14 NLT
The power to live, be free form sin's control, look foward to Christ's return
Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad--because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterward you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory when it is displayed to all the world.
Be happy if you are insulted for being a Christian, for then the glorious Spirit of God will come upon you.
So if you are suffering according to God's will, keep on doing what is right, and trust yourself to the God who made you, for he will never fail you. 1Pet. 4:12-14 &19
I can never stop thanking God for all the generous gifts he has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus. He has enriched your church with the gifts of eloquence and every kind of knowledge. This shows that what I told you about Christ is true. Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will keep you strong right up to the end, and he will keep you free from all blame on the great day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will surely do this for you, for he always does just what he says, and he is the one who invited you into this wonderful friendship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1Corth. 1:4-9 NLT
Blessings, I just want to say that I am praying, I am one of those prayer preachers that fully care about prayer, and I do believe in the power of God. As we all go through changes in all our lives, will still must remember, that God does love us, and His Son Jesus is always with us and we have a guiding light within us all, the Holy Spirit, and if we truly trust in our Lord, he will grant us anything we ask, I know, I have suffered many many, hardships and loses, of all kinds, plus many physical ailments, and all kinds of financial situations, and we all must trust in our Lord, and I also have faced all the mental and spiritual attacks that have been bestowed on me everyday, over and over, it would seem it would be so unbelievable to list, maybe that is why they call me the 20th century Job, but I can’t give up hope, I still press on, and even though I am a pastor of a church, we still haven’t made much headway yet, we are still new, but I prayed to our Father for a friend and I think He has called me to help this friend to make a greater expression of the true Love of Christ, in His church also. I usually write a small prayer, to each circumstance but I have been so sick lately, I can’t get to each person and with the exact perfect words , but I do that within all the prayers privately late at night, and early in the morning, It has and is been, one of my duties to my fellow brothers and sisters, to give aid and compassion, comfort and a helping hand to each and everyone of you, also to all your surroundings may it be your children your parents or grandparents or your friends and brothers and sisters, or even the neighbors down the street. We are all are of one body, the body of Christ, and we must all love and pray for each other, and have true care for one another. So that is why we pray and send back a few words of encouragement, to give you strength to fight whatever evil that you are combating, I just want to say I am praying, and my prayer life is nothing, without the power of the Lord directing my fingers as I type, and to keep my mind open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to reassure those who need that tender loving care, that we all need to share, towards one another. I have been able to learn we all go through different sufferings at different times, but they are all building blocks toward the entrance to heaven, so as we look to the light and our eternal future nothing should really bother us now, I myself am suffering great deals of pain, and sometimes it hurts not only with my affliction, it hurts inside to hear about others, so I just want to say again, that you are not alone, the Lord loves us and that is the finale count. There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God and Christ. So I just want to add that I am praying with my heart, and I have taken careful consideration for you, and your loved ones, my prayers are with you and the door will remain open for all. God hears us, and he helps us and he heals us all, and all we have to do is believe, trust, follow His direction, and have faith that He will and can take care of any problem or affliction known to man. God Bless you, Rev. Paul
I am praying, in this cold world we all need prayers, we all need comfort ,and we all need healing, I pray to the heavens that all the suffering stops, I ask in the name of Jesus that all of us that are feeling pain, anguish, distress, misery, agony, torment, or affliction from some sort of disease, or sickness, or hurt, or damage, or harm, or being upset, or some type of loneliness, or some type of separation, or some type of loss, or some type of suffering, or some type of addiction, I ask in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ for all of us to be over comers through all the mud, the rain, the deep, the hospitals, the doctors, the machines, the broken homes, the broken families, the broken bodies, the broken hearts, the broken glass, the broken dreams, and the empty pockets, that we all take a stand through the power of God and Christ that we as children of God, be healed, be helped, be happy, be together with our families, be with our friends, be in our homes, to feel the touch of friendship, to feel the love of others, to feel contented, glad, joyful, cheerful and to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit within us all. Amen
I am praying, as we rush through this world trying to get from here to there, we sometimes forget to pray, or we don’t pray like we should, or we just don’t ask for the proper things through the will of God. We don’t know the reasons of all or suffering and confusion, and our health and painful, fearful complications, our marriages, our children getting into all types of misfortune, the misery of not having the right income which many, so many are suffering financial problems, but the point is we must continue to pray. Prayer for others to me is the most important thing out of all ministries and churches, to me prayer is the work, that I cherish and which I gain my joy, and the ministry and the church is the prize which comes later. Without prayer and our expressions to the Father, we can’t do too much, some or even many do think they can go through life without it, or live there lives on there own. With me, it is the only source to the strength that I still have, as my body gets weaker, and the prayers to God get longer, I am still reaching, we have to continue to have an open communication at all times to God. My affliction doesn’t seem to be improving, but I have all the faith that God has granted me, to stand firm. As Jesus went off and prayed He gained a new strength, and refreshment, which acts the same for me. Praying for others is probably the most important thing anyone can do. There are a lot of times we all cry out to God when we are in trouble or something goes intensely wrong, but keeping up with the Father daily, pray without ceasing 1Thes.5:17 will gain a new edge form a better relationship, and to achieve an added purity of closeness to God and Christ. Plus prayer can be used as a weapon to fight evil, and or to keep it away. Let us look in a different perspective, when the disciples in lets say Luke 11 they asked Jesus teach us to pray, they didn’t ask can you teach us to preach, or can you teach us to minister. So prayer was very important back in that point of time, just as it should be now, and even more. So the bible does have many open and hidden mysteries, of knowledge and teaching of love and life. In Jer. 33:3 it says 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” So we are to call on God our Father for all things, Then Jesus tells us in John 14:12-14 “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” What great statements of truth, and they are so simple if we just pray. We are even aloud and privileged to talk to the Father in Heb. 4:16 the bible tells us that we can come right before the Lord and ask Him for our needs or help or healing—“Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” So we as children of God can approach God with confidence, some translations say boldness, we are so privileged as children of God to be able to pray and ask for our needs, plus He knows what we need before we even ask. The rest is up to us, everything lies within our reach according to our faith, trust, hope and belief in Him, and through His will, our prayers will be answered. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Prov. 3:5-6 “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; Psalm 34:15 May the Lord bless you, and keep you whole. In prayer, Rev. Paul
